"description": "`FlattenedChildIterator` is a non-template class and work only for the\nflattened tree (i.e., in the `TreeKind::Flat` mode).\n\nTo centralize the implementation to access children from a parent node\nin the various kinds of tree except `ShadowIncludingDOM`, this patch\nmakes it a template class and support the simple DOM (for\n`TreeKind::DOM`), the flattened tree (for`TreeKind::Flat`) and also the\nflattened tree for selection whose `TreeKind` will be added by the next\npatch.\n\nThe reason why this patch does not support\n`TreeKind::ShadowIncludingDOM` is, it is not clear that which children\nshould be handled when the parent is a shadow host, i.e., whether the\nchildren of the host or the `ShadowRoot`. Therefore, the caller should\nuse `ShadowRoot` if the users want to list up the the children from a\nhost. Then, the code is really clear about what it does.\n\nDifferential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D281303",

"description": "Currently, the coverage of quad primitives if defined by the intersection of the local rect and local clip rect.\nThe coordinate space of the pattern is affected by the bounds of the local rect, sometimes partially overriden by a stretch size parameter.\n\nEdges that are not anti-aliased are snapped to the pixel grid to simplify a bunch of things in indirect rendering strategies. To make this work without introducing cracks we have to round both the local rect and the local clip rect which slightly offsets and stretches the pattern.\n\nTo avoid affecting the pattern coordinate space, this patch changes the representation.\nWe now have a single coverage rect which represents the intersection of the local rect and local clip rect. This rect can be modified without changing the pattern position and size.\nIn addition, a pattern rect controls the position and size of the pattern. Snapping this rect would change the look of the pattern so it's probably never a good idea to do so.\n\nWith this representatoin, the stretch size parameter is entirely redundant so it could be removed in the future.\nIt also lets us naturaly express offsets in repeated pattern (currently we have a hacky way of tweaking the local rect and local clip rect to achieve that).\n\nThis patch only does this at quad prepare/shader level but I plan to move this representation all the way to the display list.\n\nDifferential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D308509",

"description": "WebDriver can dispatch synthesized mouse events asynchronously (i.e. injected\nin the parent process) rather than synchronously in the process that requested\nthem. Such events have no native drag-and-drop loop, so a drag they start must\nbe handled differently from a plain, synchronously synthesized drag.\n\nAdd a BaseEventFlags::mIsAsyncSynthesizedForTests bit, set on synthesized\nevents that are dispatched asynchronously (not targeted at a window, with async\ndispatch requested or enabled by the test pref), and propagate it from the\noriginating mouse/pointer/touch event onto the generated eDragStart event.\n\nRecord the corresponding mSessionIsAsyncSynthesizedForTests on the drag\nsession. When it is set, nsBaseDragSession::InvokeDragSession takes the normal\ncross-process path instead of the synthesized-for-tests shortcut, so the\ncontent process still sends PBrowser::InvokeDragSession and the parent process\nowns the session.\n\nDifferential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D308950",

"description": "`[hidden]` is implemented as a low-priority presentation attribute (see the\ncomment in layout/style/res/html.css), so any author rule setting `display`\nsilently overrides it. A lot of chrome/in-content CSS therefore guards\ndisplay-setting rules with `:not([hidden])` so the element still hides when the\n`hidden` attribute is set.\n\nAdd a `:where([hidden]) { display: none !important }` rule to the two base\nstylesheets -- global-shared.css (chrome) and in-content/common-shared.css\n(in-content pages) -- so callers can set a `display` type unconditionally, and\ndrop the redundant `:not([hidden])` guards. `:where()` keeps the selector at\nzero specificity, so the rare element that must stay shown can override it with\na plain `!important`: findbar[hidden] (slide transition), treecol[hidden] in\nxul.css (column collapse), setting-control[hidden]:has(\u003e moz-message-bar), and\nthe devtools toolbox webconsole/deck panels (kept laid out via visibility).\n\nGuards are kept where the base rule can't reach: shadow-DOM widgets, the\nnewtab/activity-stream bundle, browser/fxr/*, and mixed-coverage sheets injected\ninto content documents or shadow roots (urlbar view sheets via the smartbar,\nfeature-callout sheets). Structural `:not([hidden])` uses (sibling/descendant\ncombinators) are untouched.\n\nAlso fix the moreFromMozilla QR-code box, which showed itself by setting\nhidden=\"false\". Since bug 1979014 made `hidden` a regular boolean attribute,\nthat value is actually hidden, so it now removes the attribute instead (and the\nmatching :not([hidden=\"true\"]) CSS guards become a plain selector).\n\nDifferential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D309290",

"description": "A device-mode text run snapped its full reference-frame origin to the device\ngrid. An offset-only reference frame - one that merely positions content (an\nnsIFrame layout offset or an identity transform such as translateZ(0)) - then\nshifted the text ~1px off where the same content renders unframed, clipping the\nlast character of Slack channel names on Win11 at fractional device scales.\n\nMark such frames with an is_offset_only flag on ReferenceFrameKind::Transform,\nset by the embedder at the single site that synthesizes them (the offset-only\nreference frame in wr_dp_push_stacking_context, mirrored by wrench). Snap their\ntext like unframed content so the static origin stays sub-pixel; frames that\ngenuinely scale or rotate content keep the full-origin snap.\n\nThis also fixes css-transforms/backface-visibility-hidden-animated-002.html\n(text inside a will-change:transform element), so drop its now-passing\nexpectation.\n\nDifferential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D309724",

[Phab D309039](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D309039)\n- **Networking** Firefox enabled No-Vary-Search caching for release users, which should improve cache reuse for URLs that differ only by ignored query params. [Phab D308634](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D308634)\n- **Rendering** WebRender pushed more picture and filter work onto the quad path, a substantial rendering pipeline shift aimed at simpler and faster composition. [Phab D308130](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D308130)\n- **V8** SpiderMonkey landed a 10-part sweep to make GC tracing and marking paths read fields once and use safer atomic access patterns, reducing race risk and overhead. [Phab D307047](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D307047)\n- **Web Platform** CSS Typed OM got stricter CSSMathProduct validation and NumericType multiplication support, moving more math behavior toward spec correctness. [Phab D309566](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D309566)\n- **Media** getUserMedia camera capture now does fractional frame-rate decimation to hit requested rates more accurately on average. [Phab D308788](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D308788)\n- **DevTools** Browser Console and Browser Toolbox Console can now filter by Browser vs Content origins, which should make multi-process debugging less noisy. [Phab D307744](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D307744)\n- **UI** Desktop and Android both got visible polish, including refreshed infobar styling, better hidden-element behavior, and safer download handling on Android. [Phab D305373](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D305373)\n- **Build** Android moved up to Kotlin 2.4.0 and AndroidX Lifecycle 2.11.0, while build plumbing added wasip1 sysroot support and Thunderbird support in mach try. [Phab D309734](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D309734)\n\n## What landed by area\n\n### Networking and security hardening\n- **Security** Verified content process identity when linking background channels to prevent mismatched process hookups. [Phab D309038](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D309038)\n- **Security** Bound RedirectChannelRegistrar IDs to their destination content process for tighter redirect ownership. [Phab D309039](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D309039)\n- **Networking** Switched captive portal detection to a 204-returning endpoint. [Phab D209782](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D209782)\n- **Networking** Fixed URL parsing so an empty authority is not treated as compatible with a port. [Phab D306755](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D306755)\n- **Networking** Made WebSocket startup set mDataStarted before dispatching, fixing ordering around early data flow. [Phab D308990](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D308990)\n- **Networking** Abandoned stale Happy Eyeballs attempts when an upgraded connection falls back to HTTP/1.
