"description": "This patch implements the Clipboard custom format support at Web API level. Platform related implementation will be in P2, P3 and P4.\n\nIt includes following modifications\n1. Introduce kWebCustomFormatPrefix and kWebCustomFormatMapType in nsITransferable.idl to support custom format.\n kWebCustomFormatPrefix is a string used to identify and filter the custom format.\n kWebCustomFormatMapType is a type string in Gecko to represent the web custom format map type.\n\n2. Introduce static method ClipboardItem::ParseMimeType() to validate if the passed-in string is a valid mime type or a valid custom format\n Notice that a valid mime type might not be a ClipboardItem supported type. Such as application/text is a valid type but not supported type. See https://www.w3.org/TR/clipboard-apis/#dom-clipboarditem-supports.\n\n3. Update ClipboardItem implementation to support custom format.\n Adding mime type checking in ClipboardItem::Constructor, and throw TypeError once the mime type is not valid.\n Adding custom format count ClipboardItem::mCustomFormatCount for the maximum custom format number checking for clipboard.write().\n\n4. Update Clipboard(dom/events/Clipboard.h/.cpp) implementation to support custom format read/write\n Remove IsValidType() in Clipboard.cpp which is covered by ClipboardItem::ParseMimeType and done in ClipboardItem::Constructor()\n Update the DataTransfer implementation to support custom format.\n Update ClipboardGetCallbackForRead::OnSuccess() to support custom format can be saved in nsITransferable.\n\n5. Update nsBaseClipboard implementation to support custom format read/write\n For custom format write(), directly passing the type string and data to SetNativeClipboardData(). The underlying nsIClipboard implementation will handle the type string conversion and custom format map construction according to the platform. This part will be done in P2, P3, and P4.\n For custom format read(), also directly passing the type string to underlying nsIClipboard implementation. The underlying nsIClipboard implementation will handle the type string conversion and get the data from system clipboard. This part will be done in P2, P3, and P4.\n\nDifferential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D271554",

"description": "GTK implementation, mirroring P2 (macOS). The atom names\nmatch Chromium's convention so the data interoperates between browsers:\n\n \"Web Custom Format Map\" - JSON map from MIME essence to slot identifier.\n \"Web Custom FormatN\" - per-entry payload for slot N (N \u003c 100).\n\nWrite path\n nsClipboard::SetNativeClipboardData iterates the transferable's flavors.\n For each \"web foo/bar\" flavor it advertises a per-slot GdkAtom and\n records the essence -\u003e slot mapping in a per-clipboard WebCustomFormatMap\n held on the nsClipboard instance. If any web custom formats were added,\n it also advertises the \"Web Custom Format Map\" atom.\n\n SelectionGetEvent serves data on demand. For the map atom it serializes\n the recorded WebCustomFormatMap to JSON via WebCustomFormatMapToJSON\n and writes it as the selection bytes. For a slot atom it iterates the\n map to find the matching essence, fetches the corresponding \"web foo/bar\"\n payload from the transferable (as nsISupportsCString, matching P1's\n representation), and writes the raw bytes.\n\nRead path\n nsClipboard::GetNativeClipboardData adds two new branches before the\n existing flow:\n - For kWebCustomFormatMapType it fetches \"Web Custom Format Map\" via\n nsRetrievalContext, parses the JSON, and returns an nsIMutableArray\n of \"web foo/bar\" flavors built from the map keys.\n - For \"web \" prefixed flavors it fetches the map, looks up the slot\n name, fetches the slot bytes, and wraps them as nsISupportsCString\n via CreatePrimitiveForData (P1's symmetric path).\n\n HasNativeClipboardDataMatchingFlavors recognises both shapes: the map\n atom is detected directly in the target list and the per-flavor lookup\n loads the JSON map lazily on the first \"web \" query.\n\nCleanup\n ClearTransferable also clears the per-clipboard WebCustomFormatMap so\n stale slot data isn't served after the clipboard owner changes.\n\nDifferential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D274727",

After the loop, the map is serialized to JSON via\n WebCustomFormatMapToJSON and pushed into nsDataObj. A FORMATETC for\n \"Web Custom Format Map\" is also advertised so QueryGetData reports it.\n\n nsDataObj::GetData short-circuits the map FORMATETC by allocating an\n HGLOBAL containing the JSON directly (the map isn't backed by the\n transferable). The per-clipboard-format payloads flow through the\n existing GetData path; GetText is taught that \"web \" flavors are byte\n payloads (nsISupportsCString), so the trailing UTF-16 null pad must be\n omitted.\n\nRead path\n nsClipboard::GetNativeClipboardData handles two new cases before the\n default OLE flow:\n - kWebCustomFormatMapType returns an nsIMutableArray of \"web foo/bar\"\n flavors built from the parsed map JSON.\n - \"web \" prefixed flavors look up the clipboard format name in the\n map, register that name as a clipboard format, and return the raw\n bytes wrapped as nsISupportsCString.\n\n HasNativeClipboardDataMatchingFlavors recognises both shapes and loads\n the map lazily only when a \"web \" query arrives.\n\nDifferential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D303746",

That does not match the spec and inflates `dns_lookup_time`.\n\nInstead, track the actual DNS end. Before any connection attempt starts, `OnLookupComplete` records `mDnsResolutionEnd` on each DNS response, so it ends up holding the last DNS completion before the race begins. If a connection starts before any lookup completes, we fall back to `connectStart`. That keeps `domainLookupEnd` aligned with the real DNS end, while still guaranteeing `domainLookupEnd \u003c= connectStart`.\n\nThis is also consistent with Chrome’s behavior: report the real DNS end when available, but never later than `connectStart`.\n\nDifferential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D310289",

"description": "It would be tempting to reuse the existing blocklist feature\n`WEBGL_ANGLE`, but this is unfortunately named. On Windows it actually\nindicates whether WebGL is allowed to use a hardware accelerated D3D\nANGLE context. If blocked, ANGLE may still be used with a WARP device.\n\nTo avoid confusion, we instead add a new blocklist feature:\n`WEBGL_ANGLE_METAL`. This is currently always blocked, as we are not\nyet building or shipping ANGLE libraries on macOS. We also\nspecifically block it on devices with multiple GPUs or macOS versions\nearlier than 12, as support for these will likely follow the initial\nrollout and we don't want to accidentally enable for these systems\nprematurely.\n\nThe existing pref `webgl.disable-angle` can be used to disable the\nfeature even when the blocklist allows it. We now set this to true\n(i.e. ANGLE is disabled) by default on non-Windows.\n\nA gfxVar is initialized from the blocklist state, and this is used in\ncombination with the pref to decide whether to create an ANGLE (EGL)\nor native (CGL) context for WebGL. We additionally always choose\nnative when the `FORBID_HARDWARE` flag is set, as Metal does not\nexpose a software renderer.\n\nDifferential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D310790",
