Automatic update from web-platform-tests
Implement accessibility property support via CDP for Chrome

Introduces `ChromeDriverAccessibilityProtocolPart` to provide accessibility tree and computed property support for Chrome under `wptrunner`. This mirrors the pattern used by existing drivers (such as Marionette) and leverages the Chrome DevTools Protocol (`CDP`) `Accessibility.getPartialAXTree` command(https://chromedevtools.github.io/devtools-protocol/tot/Accessibility/#method-getPartialAXTree). It also, as a result, adds support for Edge and other Chromium browsers.

* Protocol Implementation: Added `ChromeDriverAccessibilityProtocolPart` (subclassing `WebDriverAccessibilityProtocolPart`) to fetch computed labels, roles, and tree structures via CDP commands `Accessibility.getPartialAXTree`.
* Changes to aria-utils.js to cast elements to a String to prevent a undefined =! "undefined" bug
--

wpt-commits: 43f8a304cbfde06c09d20cf8300da57ce5c4b41b
wpt-pr: 60778
Automatic update from web-platform-tests
[Masonry] Compute static positions for OOF items in grid-lanes with fill-reverse and content alignment

Per the resolution of this CSSWG issue [1] this CL computes correct
static positions for out-of-flow (OOF) items in grid-lanes containers
when fill-reverse is applied.

Previously, we applied fill-reverse before any OOF items had been
placed, meaning that the static positions of the OOF items were never
updated correctly. This change moves fill-reverse applications for OOF
items to occur after both in-flow and OOF items have been placed.

We are able to compute fill-reverse for both indefinite and definite
size containers during placement in `PlaceOutOfFlowItems` since the
stacking axis sizes have already been resolved at the time the method is
called.

Note that we will not be changing the static positions of out-of-flow
items for content alignment per the CSSWG resolution [2].

[1] https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/13931 [2]
https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/13931

Change-Id: I7da92e44107185658766d830f6e4433a3d1068fd
Bug: 343257585
Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/7808903
Reviewed-by: Kurt Catti-Schmidt <kschmi@microsoft.com>
Commit-Queue: Celeste Pan <celestepan@microsoft.com>
Cr-Commit-Position: refs/heads/main@{#1677681}

--

wpt-commits: baf78c4f5849582294a81ee4cb6c91c469a087d5
wpt-pr: 61871",

This change adds a newly generated font that satisfies
the test's intent (supports the 4 characters being used, and the
kern/palt features).

It also adjusts the font size to avoid potential pixel rounding
differences, and waits for the font to load to avoid a race.

With these changes, the test now behaves the same on all OSes, so we
can reduce to a single -expectations file.

Bug: 40876238
Change-Id: Ie460ec2fa2865e5756fac74a492edaa5f7d9b3de
Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/8235618
Reviewed-by: Koji Ishii <kojii@chromium.org>
Reviewed-by: Dominik Röttsches <drott@chromium.org>
Reviewed-by: Kurt Catti-Schmidt <kschmi@microsoft.com>
Commit-Queue: Hoch Hochkeppel <mhochk@microsoft.com>
Cr-Commit-Position: refs/heads/main@{#1678125}

--

wpt-commits: 6d45c406c143d9838924c3c1e49cd0163e40e1ed
wpt-pr: 61878
This patch makes MediaTrackGraphImpl implement AbstractThread and its base
interface nsISerialEventTarget.

This allows running nsIRunnables natively on the graph.

To facilitate runnables that need to run during graph shutdown, the graph will
call OnDiscard() on those runnables that QI to nsIDiscardableRunnable and they
may run then. Note that runnables dispatched through the nsISerialEventTarget
and AbstractThread APIs (i.e. Dispatch()) will wrap runnables that don't
implement nsIDiscardableRunnable so they run on shutdown by default. This should
avoid silently dropping async tasks from e.g. MozPromise that require settling
before being released.
During shutdown, nsIRunnable's Run() will not be called directly by the graph,
and all runnables will be processed (OnDiscard() and release) on the main
thread to guarantee event order consistency.

MessageBlocks are removed, as the graph no longer will manage the batching of
tasks dispatched from main thread. The main thread's tail dispatcher will manage
batching instead, and dispatched per-thread group runnables will enter
mBackMessageQueue regularly. The same mechanism now works from any thread. Only
main thread dispatches affect the graph's lifecycle, however.

For a non-main thread to dispatch tasks to the graph, it will have to be sure to
keep the graph alive. The only guarantee for this is still to hold onto a live
track.

Any thread that is used to dispatch a task to the graph must support tail
dispatch. While not strictly required for the function of the graph, this
enforces the old mechanism of running messages from main thread atomically, and
spreads that behavior to any other thread. It also reduces contention on the
graph's Monitor.

Dispatching from the graph to any other thread should also use tail dispatch for
performance reasons -- e.g dispatching to the busy main thread may suffer from
lock contention which is not ideal on the real-time audio thread. However,
enforcing tail dispatch when dispatching *from* the graph thread is not possible
without going through a proxy function. This is by convention for now.

Tail dispatch from the graph to the main thread means that the main thread state
is updated before graph thread to main thread runnables run.

This requires some child revisions or it may render issues:
- D277177: to allow non-tail dispatched messages to the graph from the
IPC I/O Child for AudioWorklet MessagePorts.
- D277181: to maintain atomicity between all messages dispatched from a single
task on a given thread, as AbstractThread normally closes a target
group runnable for new tasks upon tail dispatch to another target.

Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D277176
Simple backport of https://webrtc-review.googlesource.com/c/src/+/491680

Upstream commit: 5da5a6e4e00c69ef60c7643e99ef34f65f7af51a

From the commit message:
Add optional buffer stride support to VideoCaptureImpl and use it in
VideoCaptureModulePipeWire, allowing us to drop the requirement for
unpadded buffers. This notably improves compatibility with libcamera,
which supports a wider range of devices than the V4L2 backend - some
having hardware requirements for stride-alignment.

Extending `ConvertToI420()` in libyuv was rejected on the grounds that
there are various approaches to stride handling - using a single stride
value for multiple planes, having explicit values for each one etc. - as
well as the fact that we might well want to extend the helper further in
the future - e.g. in order to better handle color spaces such as BT709
(instead of always assuming BT601).

Thus this patch now adds a local copy of `ConvertToI420()`, supporting
implicit and a single explicit stride value for now.

Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D312871
This is the first of five final infrastructure patches needed to support the
goal of adding missing stackmaps for traps.

This patch updates IsPlausibleStackMapKey(). Currently it can only identify
call instructions and official-UD instructions, because no stackmap has any
other kind of key. Going forward it will need to handle stackmaps whose key is
any faulting instruction. The patch modifies IsPlausibleStackMapKey so that it
no longer tries to identify trapping instructions itself. Instead it delegates
that to the pre-existing routine SummarizeTrapInstruction.

This also has do deal with the problem that a stackmap key (which we are
provided with) points to the instruction after the call/trap with which it is
associated. To find the relevant trap-insn key, we need to back up one
instruction. But we don't know its length (in general), nor can we parse
instructions backwards (in general); so we are forced to iterate through all
possible start positions of the previous instruction to find one that
SummarizeTrapInstruction tells us is correct.

In practice this is not a big cost (~2.5 tries/call for x86_64, 1 try/call for
all other targets) and also, this is only needed in ifdef-DEBUG code.

Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D316783
This patch adds logic for checking that selected traps have stackmaps. For
both Ion and baseline, this identifies trapsites created by compilation of each
function, and passes that to new routine CheckStackMapsForTraps, which verifies
that selected trap kinds have a stackmap.

CheckStackMapsForTraps is called after each function compilation, rather than
at the end of a module, so as to make it easy to identify, in the
IONFLAGS=codegen log, traps that have a missing stackmap. Information about
checks and missing stackmaps is also emitted in-line into the IONFLAGS=codegen
log.

Fixing all missing stackmaps (in future) in one pass is a big task.
CheckStackMapsForTraps therefore takes a callback via which the caller can
specify which trap kinds to check. Currently the callbacks are set up so that
no stackmaps are checked; hence this entire patch is infrastructure but a
functional no-op (even in debug builds).

Finally, as a ride-along, the wasm::InstructionBytes mechanism (a source class
for SummarizeTrapInstruction) is cleaned up, by moving both of its child
classes out of the assembler stack and into WasmSummarizeInsn.cpp, making them
entirely private to that file. As a result SummarizeTrapInstruction can offer
two overloads in its external interface, one that takes a `void*` and another
which takes a MacroAssembler and offset pair.

Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D316785
wasm baseline's stackmap-creation logic release-asserts if it is asked to make
a stackmap at a point where there are refs in registers. And rightly so!

But for debugging, we need to tolerate this; such stackmaps will be used to GC
memory-resident local variables in the wasm frame, whilst the register-bound
temporaries are dead.

The patch contains two logical parts:

(1) Changes to StackMapGenerator::createStackMap, which is the core stack-map
creator for wasm baseline. For situations where we are sure execution will
never resume after the (instruction associated with the) stackmap, it now
tolerates but ignores refs in registers. If it cannot establish that,
behaviour is unchanged from before: refs in registers lead to a
    release-assertion.

(2) In order that (1) can decide whether execution might resume after the
stackmap, ::createStackMap now needs to be told the reason for creating the
stackmap. This is specified as a `Maybe<Trap>` param, with `Nothing`
indicating the map is for a call instruction, and `Some(t)` indicating it
is a for a trap of kind `t`.

The changes are mostly plumbing. Also, the `const char*` parameters passed
to ::createStackMap have been removed; they were never used for anything.

Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D316787
Firefox already serves DNS answers from a cache entry's grace period
(stale-while-revalidate). This teaches Happy Eyeballs to notice when an
answer was served stale and race it immediately while revalidating with
a fresh, cache-bypassing lookup, then race the revalidated answer too.

- Expose nsIDNSAddrRecord::fromStaleCache and
nsIDNSByTypeRecord::fromStaleCache. The flag is captured at serve time:
the resolver sets it true only when it hands back a grace-period cache
hit, and false on every fresh resolution. Deriving it after the fact
from CheckExpiration == EXP_GRACE would misreport a freshly resolved
answer as stale whenever its TTL is short enough to land in the grace
window immediately (SetExpiration puts mGraceStart at now + ttl, so a
TTL of 0 is born in grace). The flag lives on the shared nsHostRecord
base, so AddrHostRecord and TypeHostRecord share it.
- Plumb happy-eyeballs v0.11.0's stale/allow_stale API through the FFI
  glue and the C++ driver. Output::SendDnsQuery carries allow_stale;
when the state machine revalidates a stale answer (allow_stale=false)
the driver adds RESOLVE_BYPASS_CACHE to force a fresh lookup. The stale
entry is left in place so concurrent consumers can keep using it while
  the revalidation is in flight.
- happy_eyeballs_process_dns_response_{a,aaaa,https} carry the stale flag
into Input::DnsResult, so both address and HTTPS/SVCB answers report
fromStaleCache and are revalidated when served stale. A cache-bypassing
revalidation never takes the cache-hit path, so its answer is always
reported fresh, upholding the state machine's invariant that a refresh
query is never answered from a stale entry.

The DNSRecord and IPCTypeRecord IPC structs carry the flag too, sampled
when the lookup completes: the receiving side holds no expiration times of
its own, so it cannot recompute grace status.

Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D317012
The pref gated partitioning of service workers under dFPI. It has defaulted to
true since bug 1784900 landed in August 2022, and nothing in the tree writes it:
no Nimbus feature, no enterprise policy, no profile or harness default. The only
writers were two test files.

All thirteen reads were therefore constant, and each reduces mechanically: five
ternaries selecting between eForeignPartitionedPrincipal and eRegularPrincipal
collapse to the former, four "&& pref" conjuncts drop out, three "if (!pref)
return ..." early exits go away, and one "if (pref) { ... }" wrapper in
DispatchFetchEvent unwraps.

The pref was also redundant. Everywhere it gated a decision it sat beside a
check that already required dFPI - either StoragePartitioningEnabled, which
itself tests for BEHAVIOR_PARTITION_FOREIGN, or an explicit cookieBehavior
comparison in ShouldUsePartitionPrincipalForServiceWorker. Its only reachable
effect was to leave service workers unpartitioned while the user had asked for
partitioned cookies, which is precisely the state it should not have been able
to produce. Anyone wanting unpartitioned service workers still has
network.cookie.cookieBehavior and the per-site exception list.

Five files lose their last privacy_ pref use, so the now-unused
StaticPrefs_privacy.h include goes with them. nsDocShell.cpp keeps its include
for privacy_window_name_update_enabled.

Three of the thirteen cases in browser_partitionedServiceWorkers.js drove the
removed branch. Each was run against the patched build before being deleted:
"disable partitioning" and "Private Browsing with partitioning disabled with SW
PBM enabled" both fail, since each asserts a third-party service worker is gated
on storage access, which is no longer true. "Private Browsing with partitioning
disabled with SW PBM disabled" still passes - it duplicates the surviving
SW-PBM-disabled case, being gated by dom.serviceWorkers.privateBrowsing.enabled
rather than by this pref - so it is dropped as redundant rather than obsolete.
The remaining ten cases keep the full private-browsing matrix and lose only the
pref line; three whose names described the pref are renamed.

Try (mach try auto):
https://treeherder.mozilla.org/jobs?repo=try&landoInstance=lando-prod-2025&landoCommitID=79172

No failures in dom/serviceworkers, dom/clients, toolkit/components/antitracking,
or web-platform-tests service-workers. The failing jobs are in unrelated
subsystems (fullscreen, layout, devtools, extensions, WebTransport, HTTP/3,
customizable-select) and one android build hit an sccache startup timeout.
source-test-clang-tidy is red on two pre-existing
performance-unnecessary-copy-initialization errors at ServiceWorkerManager.cpp
lines 933 and 1873; both are byte-identical on main and are reported only
because this patch touches that file. The macosx1500-aarch64 test jobs did not
get workers and never ran.

Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D318730",

The owning objects are const& parameters of the
enclosing functions, so they outlive the locals and binding a const reference is
safe rather than lifetime-extending a temporary.

No behaviour change; this only keeps the lint job green for the pref removal.

Try (targeted: source-test-clang-tidy + linux64 debug/opt builds):
https://treeherder.mozilla.org/jobs?repo=try&landoInstance=lando-prod-2025&landoCommitID=79255

22/22 green, including source-test-clang-tidy, which is the job this patch
exists to fix. Note the push used c52eaa9c6798 as its base rather than current
central; the two lines changed here are the only change to the file, so the lint
result is unaffected by that, but the run does not speak for the rest of the
tree.

Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D318742",

That one line is
the only difference.

The patch came from bug 1953080, where PipeWire 1.4 included math.h inside an extern "C"
block in spa/utils/json-core.h, which conf.h pulls in. Including that from C++ broke the
build, since mozalloc's throw_gcc.h then sees no _LIBCPP_VERSION. Upstream 1.6.8 includes
math.h before opening the extern "C" block, so the workaround is no longer needed, which
is why the include could come back without breaking anything.

Drop the patch rather than removing the include again. The header in the tree already has
the include and is unchanged by this, so no compiled output moves; only vendoring stops
diverging from it. Nothing checked that vendoring reproduced the tree until now, so there
was nothing to notice when the include returned.

With this, `./mach vendor third_party/pipewire/moz.yaml -r 1.6.8 --patch-mode check
--force` reproduces the committed tree exactly.

Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D318918",

The patch is
the first one applied, so its base is pristine upstream, which has no such line and cannot
have it removed. patch reports

  1 out of 1 hunks ignored--saving rejects to 'src/models/models.h.rej'

and vendoring stops there, before the other twelve patches are applied at all. The tree has
the include, so only the patch file is wrong; regenerate the hunk to add it.

The include reordering in fifteen files is not in any patch. "Rebase patch 1 (exceptions)"
moved the system headers ahead of models.h in src/llama-model.cpp and fourteen
src/models/*.cpp, directly in the sources, so re-vendoring puts back upstream's order. That
ordering matters now that models.h pulls in moz-overrides.h, which redefines the catch
macros: the reorder keeps those out of the system headers. Capture it as include-order.patch,
listed last so it applies on top of the other thirteen.

Also point the moz.yaml at Core :: Machine Learning: General rather than Core :: xul, which
is what moz.build says for this directory. Updatebot files from the moz.yaml block, so its
update bugs were going to xul.

With both, `./mach vendor third_party/llama.cpp/moz.yaml -r
74ade52741203e5c8f81eaf06a96cb1cfe15f2a3 --patch-mode check --force` reproduces the
committed tree exactly.

Neither was visible without running the vendoring: the sources in the tree are correct, and
nothing checked that they could be regenerated from the manifest until now.

Differential Revision: https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D318988
Automatic update from web-platform-tests
WebNN: Emit resample2d output sizes to ORT to avoid shape divergence

The ORT backend built the Resize node from resample2d.scales whenever
scales were supplied, leaving the output sizes empty and letting ONNX
Runtime and the execution provider re-derive the output shape. WebNN
validates that shape in double precision (floor(input size * scale) per
spec), but the re-derivation is done in single precision. For output
dimensions above 2^24, float32 can no longer represent consecutive
integers, so the backend allocates the resample2d output one element
smaller than WebNN's validated shape.

WebNN bakes its validated (larger) shape into the index clamp bounds of
downstream indexing operators (gather, gatherND, scatterND, ...). When
the backend under-allocates the resampled axis, the largest index those
clamps admit is one element past the allocated tensor, so an
attacker-supplied index can reach an out-of-bounds read or write on the
backend tensor.

Fix this by always emitting the resample2d output sizes (never scales)
when building the Resize node, mirroring the existing sizes path used by
BlockwiseExpand. This forces any execution provider used by the ORT
backend to use the exact, already-validated integer shape instead of
recomputing it in float32, eliminating the divergence at its source.
This was verified end to end against the ORT CPU, DirectML, and
OpenVINO GPU execution providers.

Also drop the stale comment that claimed the spec does not define the
resample2d output size formula; the spec now specifies
floor(input size * scale), which matches the existing validation.

Add a WebNN conformance test at the 2^24 + 1 boundary: it gathers the
last index of a resample2d output and checks it matches a direct read of
that index, which holds only when WebNN and the backend agree on the
shape.

Bug: 541732324
Change-Id: Icfcdb7c5f3852b298b6356b147993995e06fad0a
Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/8201644
Reviewed-by: Hu, Ningxin <ningxin.hu@intel.com>
Commit-Queue: Xu, Mingming1 <mingming1.xu@intel.com>
Cr-Commit-Position: refs/heads/main@{#1677773}

--

wpt-commits: cc56ec6f03522f4eeb89c3524d0593e4c9972b16
wpt-pr: 61774",

[Phab D318243](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D318243)
- **Privacy** Bounce Tracking Protection now clears state only after all queued tasks finish, tightening cleanup semantics and reducing stale protection state. [Phab D318943](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D318943)
- **Networking** Happy Eyeballs now revalidates stale DNS answers and emits profiler markers for stale and revalidation paths, making connection fallback smarter and easier to diagnose. [Phab D317012](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D317012)
- **Web Platform** Enterprise deployments can now disable Service Workers with a site policy, adding a new admin control over a major platform capability. [Phab D316778](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D316778)
- **Media** WebRTC briefly enabled pref-gated hardware AV1 support where platforms expose it, then backed it out after WPT failures, so this area is actively moving. [Phab D318439](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D318439)
- **DevTools** The compatibility panel test stack now has mock and smoke coverage for MDN compat data, hardening a flaky external-data dependency. [Phab D318843](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D318843)
- **V8** SpiderMonkey landed new three-operand 64-bit shift instructions and continued wasm baseline debug stackmap plumbing, both aimed at lower-level codegen correctness and capability. [Phab D314976](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D314976)
- **UI** Sidebar and tab UX kept moving: Nightly can tab directly into the search field, hover preview got a new Customize Sidebar setting, and tabbrowser window-global cleanup continued. [Phab D317259](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D317259)
- **Build** Core: String was merged into Core: XPCOM, a notable component taxonomy cleanup for platform ownership and bug routing. [Phab D318854](https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D318854)

## What landed by area

### Firefox UI and desktop UX
- **UI** Added Windows native sharing from the share panel.
