The newer libxml2 reworded several XML
parser diagnostics, which surface in test output, so need to rebaseline.

These are message-only changes from the parser, with no behavioural
change in WebKit. The remaining rebaselines are unrelated to libxml2:
Selectors API conformance progressions, x-mac-thai decoding now parsing
correctly after the ICU update, and SVG render-tree sub-pixel precision
diffs from the new toolchain math.

* .wkdev-sdk-version:
* LayoutTests/fast/borders/border-image-repeat-stretch.html:
* LayoutTests/fast/inline/inline-background-clip-text-multiline.html:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-backgrounds/border-radius-clipping-with-transform-001.html:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-transforms/transform-background-001.html:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-transforms/transform-background-002.html:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/painting/reftests/marker-path-001.svg:
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/dom/xhtml/level3/core/entitygetinputencoding03-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/fast/dom/Range/surround-contents-font-face-crash-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/fast/dom/SelectorAPI/resig-SelectorsAPI-test-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/fast/dom/adopt-attribute-crash-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/fast/dom/xml-parser-error-message-crash-expected.txt: Copied from LayoutTests/platform/glib/svg/custom/bug78807-expected.txt.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/fast/encoding/invalid-xml-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/fast/frames/onlyCommentInIFrame-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/fast/invalid/junk-data-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/fast/lists/list-item-compute-marker-style-crash-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/fast/xsl/xslt-bad-import-uri-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/fast/xsl/xslt-mismatched-tags-in-xslt-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/fast/xsl/xslt-transform-to-fragment-no-xml-parsing-crash-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/http/tests/misc/xslt-bad-import-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/http/tests/security/contentSecurityPolicy/xsl-redirect-blocked-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/http/tests/security/contentTypeOptions/nosniff-xml-external-entity-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/http/tests/security/cross-origin-xsl-redirect-BLOCKED-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/svg/W3C-SVG-1.1/paths-data-03-f-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/svg/carto.net/tabgroup-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/svg/custom/bug45331-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/svg/custom/bug78807-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/svg/custom/use-font-face-crash-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/svg/custom/use-invalid-html-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/glib/svg/custom/use-referencing-style-crash-expected.txt: Copied from LayoutTests/platform/glib/svg/custom/bug78807-expected.txt.
* LayoutTests/platform/gtk/TestExpectations:
* LayoutTests/platform/gtk/http/tests/security/xss-DENIED-xsl-external-entity-redirect-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/platform/wpe/TestExpectations:
* LayoutTests/platform/wpe/fast/canvas/image-buffer-backend-variants-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/svg/as-image/svg-as-image-pattern-scale.html:
* Source/cmake/OptionsCommon.cmake: Touch file by fixing a typo, to
  trigger cmake cache deletion.
* Tools/Scripts/webkitpy/port/glib.py:
(GLibPort.setup_environ_for_server):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/315785@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317713

Reviewed by Darin Adler.

Rename SaturatedArithmetic.h to SaturatingArithmetic.h and rename its
APIs from "saturated" to "saturating" (saturatedSum -> saturatingSum,
saturatedDifference -> saturatingDifference) for clarity, updating all
call sites accordingly.

"Saturating" describes the operation, whereas "saturated" describes a
state. These functions perform an operation that saturates on overflow;
they clamp only when needed and otherwise return the ordinary result.
Naming them after the behavior ("saturating") is therefore more accurate
than naming them after the one possible end-state ("saturated").

This also matches established convention: the canonical term is
"saturation arithmetic", and the operation is named with the
"saturating" form elsewhere (e.g. C++26's std::saturating_add /
std::saturating_sub in <numeric>, and Rust's saturating_add /
saturating_sub). Notably, C++26's own documentation names the function
saturating_add (the operation) while describing a clamped result as
"saturated" (the state) -- the same distinction drawn above. The header
was already named SaturatingArithmetic.h, so this makes the file and its
contents consistent.

* Source/JavaScriptCore/heap/Heap.cpp:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/heap/SlotVisitorInlines.h:
Update FIXME comments to refer to SaturatingArithmetic.

* Source/WTF/WTF.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj:
* Source/WTF/wtf/CMakeLists.txt:
* Source/WTF/wtf/SaturatingArithmetic.h: Renamed from Source/WTF/wtf/SaturatedArithmetic.h.
(WTF::signedAddInt32Overflows):
(WTF::saturatingSum<int32_t>):
(WTF::signedSubtractInt32Overflows):
(WTF::saturatingDifference<int32_t>):
(WTF::saturatingSum):
* Source/WTF/wtf/text/StringBuilder.cpp:
* Source/WTF/wtf/text/StringBuilder.h:
* Source/WTF/wtf/text/StringBuilderJSON.cpp:
* Source/WebCore/platform/LayoutUnit.h:
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderCounter.cpp:
* Source/WebCore/style/computed/StyleComputedStyleBase.cpp:
* Source/WebKit/Shared/EditingRange.h:
Update call sites to use the renamed APIs.

* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/CMakeLists.txt:
* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/TestWebKitAPI.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj:
* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/Tests/WTF/SaturatingArithmeticOperations.cpp: Renamed from Tools/TestWebKitAPI/Tests/WTF/SaturatedArithmeticOperations.cpp.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/315787@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=277228
rdar://132671670

Reviewed by Simon Fraser.

This adds a WPT test for the case where a filter set on an inline
element should apply to a block-level descendant, even when the inline
ancestor has no inline children of its own. The CSS `filter` property
is non-inherited per css-filter-effects-1 — the descendants are not
"inheriting" the filter; the filter applies to the element together
with its painting subtree, which includes the block descendant and its
own inline grandchild.

The shape exercised is:
     →
→

With the bug, the inline `` had a zero bounding box (RenderInline
with no inline children), so the source image was never built and the
descendant never rendered through the filter. It is now fixed in
WebKit, but no WPT test guarded the regression.

* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/filter-effects/filtered-inline-applies-to-block-expected.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/filter-effects/filtered-inline-applies-to-block-ref.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/filter-effects/filtered-inline-applies-to-block.html: Added.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/315788@main
rdar://178750383
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317193

Reviewed by Tim Nguyen.

CSS identifiers can contain special characters by escaping them using '\\'.
For example, "foo{bar}" can be escaped to "foo\\{bar\\}" for use as a CSS
identifier. The tokenizer then unescapes "foo\\{bar\\}" in the CSS source code
into "foo{bar}". If this identifier is then serialized back into CSS
using .cssText, then the identifier should again be escaped.

From code audit, the cssText implementation of some CSS at-rules don't
properly escape CSS identifiers. This patch fixes this by escaping
identifiers where needed. Additionally, this patch adds cssText tests
for every at-rule that accepts CSS identifiers.

Tests: imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-anchor-position/at-position-try-cssom.html
       imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-conditional/container-queries/at-container-style-serialization.html
       imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-counter-styles/counter-style-at-rule/fallback.html
       imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-counter-styles/counter-style-at-rule/system-syntax.html
       imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-fonts/parsing/font-palette-values-valid.html
       imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-page/parsing/page-rules-001.html
       imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-syntax/serialize-escape-identifiers.html

* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-anchor-position/at-position-try-cssom-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-conditional/container-queries/at-container-style-serialization-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-conditional/container-queries/at-container-style-serialization.html:
    - Import test cases from WPT

* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-counter-styles/counter-style-at-rule/fallback-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-counter-styles/counter-style-at-rule/fallback.html:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-counter-styles/counter-style-at-rule/system-syntax-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-counter-styles/counter-style-at-rule/system-syntax.html:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-fonts/parsing/font-palette-values-valid-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-fonts/parsing/font-palette-values-valid.html:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-page/parsing/page-rules-001-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-page/parsing/page-rules-001.html:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-syntax/serialize-escape-identifiers-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-syntax/serialize-escape-identifiers.html:
    - Import a test case (@media) from WPT
    - Add test cases for @position-try, @counter-style and @page.

* Source/WebCore/css/CSSCounterStyleDescriptors.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSCounterStyleDescriptors::systemCSSText const):
(WebCore::CSSCounterStyleDescriptors::fallbackCSSText const):
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSCounterStyleRule.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSCounterStyleRule::cssText const):
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSFontPaletteValuesRule.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSFontPaletteValuesRule::cssText const):
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSKeyframesRule.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSKeyframesRule::cssText const):
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSPositionTryRule.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSPositionTryRule::name const):
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSPositionTryRule.h:
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSPositionTryRule.idl:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/315795@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317576

Reviewed by Darin Adler and Anne van Kesteren.

UIEventWithKeyState tracks the AltGraph modifier: modifiersFromInitializer()
reads EventModifierInit.modifierAltGraph and records Modifier::AltGraphKey in
m_modifiers. However, getModifierState() had no branch for the "AltGraph" key
identifier, so it fell through to the default and returned false even when the
event was constructed with modifierAltGraph: true. This diverges from the UI
Events specification, which lists "AltGraph" as a valid modifier key value, and
from Blink and Gecko, both of which report it.

Add an altGraphKey() accessor alongside capsLockKey() and handle "AltGraph" in
getModifierState(). This fixes the JS-constructed (initEvent) path.

Beyond that, the AltGraph state was never propagated for trusted (native) events
on any platform. The PlatformEventModifier::AltGraphKey bit was set only from
initializers, and the WebKit-process WebEventModifier enum did not even have an
AltGraphKey value, so the bit was dropped crossing the UI/Web process boundary.
As a result getModifierState("AltGraph") would still return false for real
keystrokes even on keyboards that have an AltGr key.

The UI Events specification states that "Some operating systems simulate the
AltGraph modifier key with the combination of the Alt and Control modifier keys"
and that "Implementations are encouraged to use the AltGraph modifier key"
(https://www.w3.org/TR/uievents/#keys-modifiers). It lists AltGraph as a
first-class modifier key value and places no normative equivalence between
AltGraph and Control+Alt. Blink and Gecko both follow this guidance, exposing
AltGraph rather than Control + Alt for AltGr input. This change matches them; it
does not implement the broader (and incorrect) notion that any Control+Alt is
AltGraph (https://webkit.org/b/76988), which would break genuine Control+Alt
shortcuts.

Plumb AltGraph through the trusted-event path:
- Add WebEventModifier::AltGraphKey and serialize it, and carry it through both
  directions of WebEventConversion as well as modifiersFromPlatformEventModifiers.
- Windows has no dedicated AltGr key and, on layouts that define AltGraph,
  simulates it via the Control+Alt combination. WindowsKeyNames::
  shouldExposeAltGraphForKeyEvent() reports AltGraph in place of Control + Alt in
  the same three cases Blink does: a held right-Alt (VK_RMENU) on such a layout
  (regardless of which key it modifies); a character message (WM_CHAR /
  WM_SYSCHAR / WM_IME_CHAR) delivered while Control and Alt are down (the produced
  character is itself the evidence of AltGr); and a key whose printable character
  requires the Control+Alt combination on the active layout (an AltGraph-shifted
  key). Mouse and wheel events carry no key code, so they use the right-Alt case
  alone via shouldExposeLeftControlPlusRightAltAsAltGraph(). Both paths reuse the
  existing m_hasAltGraph layout detection and m_printableKeyCodeToKey lookup.
- GTK: map the X11 Mod5 state (GTK3) and the ISO_Level3/Level5 key values to
  AltGraphKey. GTK4 no longer exposes the Mod5 mask through GdkModifierType, so
  only the AltGraph key event itself is covered there.

macOS/iOS keyboards have no AltGr key, so the modifier is intentionally not
populated from native events on those platforms.

The accompanying web-platform-test exhaustively covers getModifierState() for
every modifier exposed through EventModifierInit (Control, Shift, Alt, Meta,
AltGraph, CapsLock) on both KeyboardEvent and MouseEvent: each modifier set in
isolation, all of them set together, and none set, asserting independence and
that the spec modifiers without an init member always read back as false.

The Windows AltGr handling cannot be exercised from a layout test (it depends on
the active OS keyboard layout), so it is covered by a TestWebKitAPI unit test
that mirrors Chromium's AltGraphEventTest: it activates the US English and
French (France) layouts, synthesizes the relevant key state, and asserts that
WindowsKeyNames reports AltGraph for the right-Alt, AltGraph-shifted, and
character-message cases while leaving plain Control+Alt and AltGraph-less layouts
untouched. It skips gracefully when a layout is not installed.

Test: imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/uievents/constructors/event-getmodifierstate.html

* LayoutTests/fast/events/constructors/keyboard-event-constructor-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/fast/events/constructors/keyboard-event-constructor.html:
* LayoutTests/fast/events/constructors/keyboard-event-getModifierState-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/fast/events/constructors/keyboard-event-getModifierState.html:
* LayoutTests/fast/events/constructors/mouse-event-getModifierState-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/fast/events/constructors/mouse-event-getModifierState.html:
* LayoutTests/fast/events/init-event-clears-capslock-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/fast/events/init-event-clears-capslock.html:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/uievents/constructors/event-getmodifierstate-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/uievents/constructors/event-getmodifierstate.html: Added.
* Source/WebCore/dom/UIEventWithKeyState.cpp:
(WebCore::UIEventWithKeyState::getModifierState const):
* Source/WebCore/dom/UIEventWithKeyState.h:
(WebCore::UIEventWithKeyState::altGraphKey const):
* Source/WebCore/platform/PlatformEvent.h:
* Source/WebCore/platform/win/WindowsKeyNames.cpp:
(WebCore::WindowsKeyNames::currentKeyModifiers):
(WebCore::WindowsKeyNames::printableKeyFromVirtualKey):
(WebCore::WindowsKeyNames::domKeyFromParams):
(WebCore::WindowsKeyNames::shouldExposeLeftControlPlusRightAltAsAltGraph):
(WebCore::WindowsKeyNames::shouldExposeAltGraphForKeyEvent):
* Source/WebCore/platform/win/WindowsKeyNames.h:
* Source/WebKit/Shared/WebEvent.serialization.in:
* Source/WebKit/Shared/WebEventConversion.cpp:
(WebKit::platform):
(WebKit::kit):
* Source/WebKit/Shared/WebEventModifier.cpp:
(WebKit::modifiersFromPlatformEventModifiers):
* Source/WebKit/Shared/WebEventModifier.h:
* Source/WebKit/Shared/gtk/WebEventFactory.cpp:
(WebKit::modifiersForEvent):
* Source/WebKit/Shared/win/WebEventFactory.cpp:
(WebKit::modifiersForEvent):
(WebKit::modifiersForCurrentKeyState):
(WebKit::WebEventFactory::createWebKeyboardEvent):
* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/PlatformWin.cmake:
* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/Tests/WebCore/win/WindowsKeyNames.cpp: Added.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/315804@main",

Only the miss path (collision or empty slot) calls into the
runtime.

The radix-10 Int32 case is split out into compileInt32ToStringRadix10 so
that the 64-bit and 32-bit DFG backends can diverge cleanly: the 64-bit
backend adds the int-cache lookup (rapidHashMix64 needs 128-bit multiply)
while the 32-bit backend keeps the existing small-int-only path.

                                        baseline                  patched

int32-to-string-int-cache-hit       27.1492+-0.3189     ^     11.4171+-0.1587        ^ definitely 2.3779x faster

* JSTests/microbenchmarks/int32-to-string-int-cache-hit.js: Added.
* JSTests/stress/to-string-int32-int-cache.js: Added.
* Source/JavaScriptCore/b3/B3AbstractHeapRepository.h:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/dfg/DFGSpeculativeJIT.cpp:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/dfg/DFGSpeculativeJIT.h:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/dfg/DFGSpeculativeJIT32_64.cpp:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/dfg/DFGSpeculativeJIT64.cpp:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/ftl/FTLLowerDFGToB3.cpp:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/runtime/NumericStrings.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/315805@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317111

Reviewed by Xabier Rodriguez-Calvar.

LibWebRTC has a dedicated Decoder component that is supposed to decode video
frames and supply them like that to its observers. Under those assumptions,
missing some of those decoded frames (eg: because no observer is listening yet)
isn't very problematic in this expected case.

However, in order to facilitate hardware decoding, the libWebRTC Decoder
implementation provided by the GStreamer port emits encoded frames (that is,
doesn't decode at all) unders some circumstances, with the hope that those
encoded frames end up reaching the playback pipeline and being decoded there.

In such a case, missing video frames because no observer has been registered
(a circumstance that has been reported by at least one downstream setup but
that can't be reproduced reliably) can be problematic. Missing the first
"frames" (buffers) of an encoded video means that the video headers (eg:
SPS/PPS for H.264) are missed that's a condition the actual video decoder
can't recover from.

This patch provides a mechanism to keep undelivered buffers when they come
in an encoded format and there's no registered observer to deliver them to,
and redeliver them when the first observer is registered. This solves the
problem detected in the mentioned downstream setup.

If a format change is detected or if RealtimeMediaSource is stopping, the
list of pending frames is emtied, since there's no point anymore on
delivering them.

Co-authored by: Ganesh prasad Sahu <GaneshPrasad_Sahu@comcast.com>

* Source/WebCore/platform/VideoFrame.h:
(WebCore::VideoFrame::isEncoded const): Added generic implementation to know if a VideoFrame has an encoded format or not. Iterating WTF::Vectors of Ref<T>-bearing elements from Swift via CxxVectorIterator hits rdar://173815363: Swift
mishandles destruction of Ref<T> elements during iteration, producing assertions like "ASSERTION FAILED: m_ptr" in
Ref<FrameState>::get(). Two such loops in WebBackForwardList.swift were affected:
- setBackForwardItemIdentifier(frameState:itemID:) iterating frameState.children (a Vector<Ref<FrameState>>)
- restoreFromState(backForwardListState:) iterating backForwardListState.items (a Vector<BackForwardListItemState>,
whose elements transitively hold a Ref<FrameState>)
To fix it, move both iterations into C++ helpers, mirroring the existing workaround pattern set by 310371@main for
setBackForwardItemIdentifiers.

2. After session restore with andNavigate:YES, restoreFromSessionState calls goToBackForwardItem(currentItem). Under
useUIProcessForBackForwardItemLoading, the per-frame walk introduced by 315516@main compares currentItem.mainFrameItem()
to item.mainFrameItem() — the same object — finds no per-frame itemSequenceNumber / documentSequenceNumber diff,
dispatches no GoToBackForwardItem message, and only logs an error. The WebProcess never loads anything and the session
restore tests time out.
To fix it, Add an IsSessionRestoreNavigation parameter to goToBackForwardItem and pass Yes from restoreFromSessionState.
When the walk dispatches no message, force a single GoToBackForwardItem on the target's main frame if there is no
current item OR the call is from session restore. Otherwise (e.g. a redundant go(to: currentlyLoadedItem) call, or
Back-forward list corruption that produced identical sequence numbers across distinct items) the walk's verdict is
trustworthy: log the existing error and drop. At
that point windowScene is nil, so _deviceOrientationIgnoringOverrides returns
UIInterfaceOrientationUnknown (mapped to 0°). GPUProcess::setOrientationForMediaCapture
broadcasts this value to every connection, overwriting the correct landscape orientation of
any camera source running on a different page. The camera then produces permanently rotated
frames until the user physically rotates the device.

Guard _dispatchSetOrientationForMediaCapture against dispatching orientation=0 when windowScene
is nil: in that state 0 means Unknown rather than Portrait, so there is nothing useful to send.
didMoveToWindow fires with a valid scene once the view is placed in a window, at which point the
correct orientation is dispatched.

Also fix a secondary issue in LocalSampleBufferDisplayLayer: when enqueueVideoFrame detects a
rotation change it calls updateSampleLayerBoundsAndPosition without explicit bounds. Previously
this swapped the stale root-layer bounds on the sample buffer display layer immediately, producing
a transient wrong-sized frame. That overload truncates large CStrings, replacing the tail
with "...[N characters not shown]" — a sane policy for terminal log
output, but it silently corrupts the JSON we just escaped: the closing
'"' of the string literal gets eaten, and the next "key": appears as if
inside the string, leaving an unparseable file.

Reachable in practice via the JSC bytecode profiler (jsc -p file.json):
JS source code in the "source" field of each Bytecodes record routinely
crosses the truncation threshold on JetStream3 subtests like
babylonjs-startup-es5 (30+ truncations in one profile, breaking
downstream parsers).

Bypass by routing through PrintStream's const char* overload, which is a
plain printf("%s", ...) with no length cap. CString from String::utf8()
is null-terminated, so this is safe.

A FIXME notes that PrintStream's truncation policy should not apply to
file persistence at all — a systematic fix in PrintStream would also
cover SamplingProfiler text dumps and any future site that prints large
Strings to disk. This patch only covers the JSON path, which is the
only one currently observed to break structured output.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/315824@main",

This improves encapsulation and makes
WebGPU more aligned with WebKit, and removes the need to have any `public` symbols in WebGPU.

This is also a pre-requisite for being able to adopt internal bridging headers to replace internal modules.

Also clean up all the "thunk" names to be more normally named and simpler.

* Source/WebGPU/Configurations/WebGPU.xcconfig:
* Source/WebGPU/WebGPU/Buffer.h:
* Source/WebGPU/WebGPU/Buffer.mm:
(WebGPU::Buffer::getMappedRange):
(wgpuBufferCopy):
* Source/WebGPU/WebGPU/Buffer.swift:
(bufferCopyFrom(_:from:offset:)):
(bufferGetMappedRange(_:offset:size:)):
(Buffer_copyFrom_thunk(_:from:offset:)): Deleted.
(Buffer_getMappedRange_thunk(_:offset:size:)): Deleted.
* Source/WebGPU/WebGPU/CommandEncoder.mm:
(WebGPU::CommandEncoder::beginComputePass):
(WebGPU::CommandEncoder::runClearEncoder):
(WebGPU::CommandEncoder::beginRenderPass):
(WebGPU::CommandEncoder::copyBufferToBuffer):
(WebGPU::CommandEncoder::copyBufferToTexture):
(WebGPU::CommandEncoder::clearTextureIfNeeded):
(WebGPU::CommandEncoder::copyTextureToBuffer):
(WebGPU::CommandEncoder::copyTextureToTexture):
(WebGPU::CommandEncoder::clearBuffer):
(WebGPU::CommandEncoder::finish):
(WebGPU::CommandEncoder::resolveQuerySet):
* Source/WebGPU/WebGPU/CommandEncoder.swift:
(commandEncoderClearTextureIfNeeded(_:destination:slice:)):
(CommandEncoder_clearTextureIfNeeded_thunk(_:destination:slice:)): Deleted.
* Source/WebGPU/WebGPU/Queue.mm:
(WebGPU::Queue::writeBuffer):
* Source/WebGPU/WebGPU/Queue.swift:
(queueWriteBuffer(_:buffer:bufferOffset:data:)):
(Queue_writeBuffer_thunk(_:buffer:bufferOffset:data:)): Deleted.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/315833@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317717
rdar://176424187

Reviewed by Abrar Rahman Protyasha.

On macOS, when using the AppKit-gestures text interaction path (driven by
NSTextSelectionManager), click-dragging a selection to the edge of the window
did not autoscroll the page. The selection stopped growing at whatever was
already on screen, so it was impossible to select past the visible content
without manually scrolling first. iOS already supports this via UIKit's
UITextAutoscrolling protocol, which performs edge detection and drives the
web process's autoscroll timer; AppKit has no equivalent, so nothing started
or sustained the scroll.

Implement selection-drag autoscroll for macOS by reusing the existing
selection-autoscroll machinery that iOS relies on (EventHandler's
m_isAutoscrolling / m_targetAutoscrollPositionInRootView, AutoscrollController's
50ms Selection timer, and the WebPage StartAutoscrollAtPosition /
CancelAutoscroll messages). The decision of when to autoscroll lives entirely
in the web process, which already computes the visible content rect and owns
the edge-band constants, so the UI process does not duplicate that geometry.

How it works:

  - On each extent-point update during a range-selection drag (the messages
    the UI process already sends as the cursor moves, and re-sends as the page
    scrolls), WebPage::updateSelectionWithExtentPointAndBoundary asks the
    EventHandler whether the point sits within the visible-edge band. If so it
    starts (or keeps) selection autoscroll targeting that point; otherwise it
    cancels. This is re-evaluated every update, so holding the cursor near the
    edge keeps scrolling and dragging back toward the middle stops it -- the
    macOS counterpart to UIKit's UITextAutoscrolling edge detection.

  - While autoscrolling, EventHandler::targetPositionInWindowForSelectionAutoscroll
    pushes the target point past the nearest visible-content edge, scaling the
    push by how deep into the edge band the point is. Because the push is a fixed
    distance past the edge in root-view coordinates, the autoscroll timer's
    windowToContents mapping yields a stable per-tick scroll delta, so the page
    keeps scrolling at a constant velocity for as long as the gesture holds near
    (or past) the edge -- without the UI process having to re-push a target.

  - As the page scrolls, WebViewImpl::pageDidScroll asks the text selection
    controller to re-extend the selection toward the last drag point, so the
    selection keeps growing into the newly revealed content. This mirrors the
    iOS -updateSelection re-extension.

The edge-detection predicate (isPointNearSelectionAutoscrollEdge) and the
target-push (pushSelectionAutoscrollTargetPastVisibleEdges) share a single
helper, selectionAutoscrollGeometry, for the visible rect and page-scale
factor. Sharing one source of truth guarantees the "should we scroll" decision
and "how far past the edge" computation use the same edge band, so they cannot
disagree (e.g. when the page is magnified to a scale below 1).

While autoscrolling on Cocoa, EventHandler::updateSelectionForMouseDrag is
suppressed: the selection is re-extended by the UI process toward the live drag
point as the page scrolls, so re-extending here from the stale last-known mouse
position would fight that. This is a no-op on iOS, where
supportsSelectionUpdatesOnMouseDrag() already returns false; the corresponding
preprocessor guard is widened from !PLATFORM(IOS_FAMILY) to !PLATFORM(COCOA) to
match.

* Source/WebCore/page/EventHandler.cpp:
(WebCore::EventHandler::updateSelectionForMouseDrag): Bail during autoscroll on
Cocoa so the UI-process-driven re-extension is authoritative.

* Source/WebCore/page/EventHandler.h:
* Source/WebCore/page/mac/EventHandlerMac.mm:
(WebCore::selectionAutoscrollGeometry): Added; shared visible-rect + zoom scale.
(WebCore::EventHandler::isPointNearSelectionAutoscrollEdge): Added.
(WebCore::EventHandler::targetPositionInWindowForSelectionAutoscroll): Push the
target past the nearest visible edge while autoscrolling.

* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/WebPage/WebPage.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/WebPage/Cocoa/WebPageCocoa.mm:
(WebKit::WebPage::rendererForSelectionAutoscroll): Added; factored out renderer
resolution shared by the start path and the extent-point edge check.

(WebKit::WebPage::startAutoscrollAtPosition): Use the shared helper.

(WebKit::WebPage::updateSelectionWithExtentPointAndBoundary): On macOS, start or
cancel selection autoscroll based on edge proximity.

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/mac/WKTextSelectionController.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/mac/WKTextSelectionController.swift:
(reextendSelectionForAutoscrollIfNeeded): Re-extend toward the last drag point
on scroll; gated on an in-flight drag rather than UI-cached autoscroll state.
(beginRangeSelection / continueRangeSelection / endRangeSelection): Track the
last extent point; cancel autoscroll at gesture begin/end as a safety net.

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/mac/WebViewImpl.mm:
(WebKit::WebViewImpl::pageDidScroll): Re-extend the selection as the page
autoscrolls.

* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/Tests/WebKit/WebPage/AppKitGesturesTests.swift:
(draggingSelectionToWindowEdgeAutoscrolls): Added.

(holdingSelectionDragNearEdgeKeepsScrolling): Added; verifies the scroll
continues across the hold rather than bursting and stopping early.

(holdingSelectionDragMidContentDoesNotAutoscroll): Added.
(selectionAutoscrollStopsAfterGestureEnds): Added.
(draggingSelectionToTopEdgeScrollsUp): Added.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/315834@main",

The second-to-fire scope wrote its stale
captured YES over the first's correct NO, leaving _isFocusingElementWithKeyboard
stuck and deferring every later modal dialog forever. 315733@main only ever
reduces the number of ElementDidFocus IPCs. It coalesces multiple same-turn
focus() calls into one, producing fewer scopes and never more, so it makes the
ordering problem less likely rather than more. When two focus() calls land in
separate rendering updates, two scopes are still created, and 314318@main's
generation-counter fix still resolves the unwind correctly.

* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/Tests/WebKit/WKWebView/ios/ModalDialogDuringOverlappingFocus.mm:
(TestWebKitAPI::TEST(ModalDialogDuringOverlappingFocus, AlertNotDeferredAfterFIFOAsyncFocusCompletions)):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/315836@main",

[commit 315848@main](https://commits.webkit.org/315848@main)
- **Security** `evaluateScript` is now only exposed in non-normal worlds, tightening script injection surface for embedders and automation. [commit 315837@main](https://commits.webkit.org/315837@main)
- **Perf** WebKit now applies PGO to WTF/bmalloc, a low-level optimization pass that should pay back broadly in allocator-heavy paths. [commit 315842@main](https://commits.webkit.org/315842@main)
- **Build** Explicit module builds are now enabled for CMake, a big build-system step that also triggered a wave of follow-up fixes across staged headers and Swift-enabled ports. [commit 315808@main](https://commits.webkit.org/315808@main)
- **Web Platform** `KeyboardEvent` and `MouseEvent` now report `getModifierState("AltGraph")` correctly instead of always returning false. [commit 315804@main](https://commits.webkit.org/315804@main)
- **V8** JavaScriptCore fixed `Array#flat` dropping prototype-backed holes in nested arrays, bringing observable behavior back in line for tricky array shapes. [commit 315806@main](https://commits.webkit.org/315806@main)
- **Rendering** A Safari 26.x regression in flex column `scrollHeight` is fixed, restoring padding-inclusive layout metrics in a common overflow case. [commit 315813@main](https://commits.webkit.org/315813@main)
- **Media** WebRTC playback on GStreamer no longer loses video when decoding happens on the playback pipeline.
