https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318363

Reviewed by Rob Buis.

Resolving the url(#id) fill or stroke paint server from style on every paint
re-parses the URL string and looks the element up by id, which is not cheap.

Cache the resolved RenderSVGResourcePaintServer on ReferencedSVGResources, the
SVG-only object in rare data that already tracks a renderer's fill and stroke
references. It exists whenever a paint server is referenced and the weak pointer
clears itself if the paint server is destroyed. Only the renderer's own style
is cached. A foreign style passed by the text selection or decoration painters
points at a different paint server, so it resolves fresh and never reads or
writes the cache.

Drop the cache whenever it can go stale. styleDidChange clears it when fill or
stroke changes. resourceChanged clears it when the referenced gradient or
pattern changes. To make that work under the layer-based engine, dispatch
idChanged to RenderSVGResourceContainer, which was previously only wired up
for the legacy containers, and have it notify existing clients so a renamed
resource repaints properly.

Covered by existing tests.

* Source/WebCore/rendering/ReferencedSVGResources.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSSVGResourceElementClient::resourceChanged):
(WebCore::ReferencedSVGResources::cachedFillPaintServer const):
(WebCore::ReferencedSVGResources::cachedStrokePaintServer const):
(WebCore::ReferencedSVGResources::setCachedPaintServer):
* Source/WebCore/rendering/ReferencedSVGResources.h:
(WebCore::ReferencedSVGResources::invalidatePaintServerCache):
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderElement.cpp:
(WebCore::RenderElement::referencedSVGResources const):
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderElement.h:
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderLayerModelObject.cpp:
(WebCore::RenderLayerModelObject::styleDidChange):
(WebCore::RenderLayerModelObject::svgPaintServerResourceFromStyle const):
(WebCore::RenderLayerModelObject::svgFillPaintServerResourceFromStyle const):
(WebCore::RenderLayerModelObject::svgStrokePaintServerResourceFromStyle const):
(WebCore::RenderLayerModelObject::invalidateSVGPaintServerCache const):
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderLayerModelObject.h:
* Source/WebCore/rendering/svg/RenderSVGResourceContainer.cpp:
(WebCore::RenderSVGResourceContainer::idChanged):
* Source/WebCore/svg/SVGElement.cpp:
(WebCore::SVGElement::svgAttributeChanged):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316428@main
rdar://178760948
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318446

Reviewed by Eric Carlson.

Historically, WebKit has set `white-space:pre` on cues whose `snap-to-lines` flag is false,
in order to correctly implement CEA-608 and CTA-708 captions, which require wrapping to be
disabled. However this affects all cues whose `snap-to-lines` flag is false, not just in-band
closed-captions like 608/708, and this affects real sites, including Apple.com.

Narrowly scope the `white-space:pre` styles around cues who explicitly have `preventLineWrapping()`
enabled, which will only be in-band generic cues.

For the WPT tests, split out the "reset" of styles to the standard-defined defaults into its own
.css file, where `webvtt-test.css` just sets the styles under test; namely Ahem at a specific size.

For the ref tests, make the fake `.video` div a container, so container-relative size rules work.

Test: imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/rendering/cues-with-video/processing-model/snap-to-line-wrap.html

* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/rendering/cues-with-video/processing-model/basic.html:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/rendering/cues-with-video/processing-model/snap-to-line-wrap-expected.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/rendering/cues-with-video/processing-model/snap-to-line-wrap.html:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/rendering/cues-with-video/processing-model/support/snap-to-line_long.vtt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/rendering/cues-with-video/processing-model/support/webvtt-ref.css:
(.video):
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/rendering/cues-with-video/processing-model/support/webvtt-reset.css:
(::cue):
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/rendering/cues-with-video/processing-model/support/webvtt-test.css:
(::cue):
* Source/WebCore/html/track/TextTrackCueGeneric.h:
* Source/WebCore/html/track/VTTCue.cpp:
(WebCore::VTTCueBox::applyCSSProperties):
* Source/WebCore/html/track/VTTCue.h:
(WebCore::VTTCue::preventLineWrapping const):
(WebCore::VTTCue::wrapTextDuringPercentageBasedPositioning const): Deleted.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316432@main",

A constructable stylesheet
(`new CSSStyleSheet()` applied via `document.adoptedStyleSheets`) has no
owner node and an empty href, so it fell into the User Agent branch of the
ownerNode/href heuristic. In the Web Inspector those author styles then
appeared as uneditable User Agent styles.

Mirror the InspectorCSSAgent fix: check wasConstructedByJS() first and
report such stylesheets as Author, keeping the two near-duplicate
detectOrigin implementations in sync.

FrameCSSAgent is only the active CSS backend dispatcher under Site
Isolation (it is created by FrameInspectorController per LocalFrame and
reached via FrameInspectorTarget), which is not enabled yet. The existing
regression test LayoutTests/inspector/css/getMatchedStylesForNodeAdoptedStyleSheet.html
therefore exercises the page-level InspectorCSSAgent path, not this one,
so this fix is currently untestable via a protocol layout test. Once Site
Isolation is enabled that same test will cover the frame path.

* Source/WebCore/inspector/agents/frame/FrameCSSAgent.cpp:
(WebCore::FrameCSSAgent::detectOrigin):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316433@main",

To do
this, the requesting frame's identifier is threaded from the credential request
coordinator down to the UIProcess chooser entry point.

A "wait" behavior parks the chooser completion handler so the request stays
pending. The handler is now released when the request is dismissed on abort or
document teardown, not only when the session ends, so a waiting request cannot
leak past the document that made it.
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317160
rdar://179733894

Reviewed by Abrar Rahman Protyasha.

This PR addresses an issue where at the end of the responsive live resize on visionOS,
the snapshot view sometimes does not get removed for ~1-2s. This happens because in this flow,
we rely on the 500ms endResizeTimer to fire, which triggers an updated commit to the web process.
However, in this state, we rely on the user triggering a bounds update to then trigger another
liveResize cycle, such that the snapshot gets removed when we next trigger
`ensureLiveResizeAnimationView`.

In the case where the window has settled to a set size,
because there is no new resizeAnimationView being created, we never remove the snapshot, so
WebKit falls back to its 1s timer. In total, this means that the user
is waiting for 1.5s-2s after the window has been resized before the snapshot gets removed,
accounting for the time spent committing to the layer tree via the web process.

The fix here is that we assume that when endLiveResize is called with the 500ms timer
it is safe to remove the snapshot immediately without needing to wait on the next resizeAnimationView
container to get created.

We make this change by storing didForceEndLiveResize (renamed to better reflect intent of variable)
as a property of the LiveResizeSnapshotState associated with the specific transactionID during
which it was created. To that end, we introduce an argument to `_endLiveResize` and
`_endLiveResizeWithResponsiveRelayout` that passes that value over. Together
we use that to track whether to remove the snapshot immediately.

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/API/Cocoa/WKWebViewInternal.h:
Introduce didForceEndLiveResize in the LiveResizeSnapshotState

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/API/ios/WKWebViewIOS.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/API/ios/WKWebViewIOS.mm:
(-[WKWebView _didCommitLayerTree:mainFrameData:pageData:transactionID:]):
Updates the responsive relayout presentation update to check for the transactionID and
whether the liveSnapshot was created from a forceEndLiveResize or not. When the cumulative composited
frame count drops between samples -- which can happen across a media
reload, source change, or pipeline reset -- the difference underflows to a
large positive value and the element is reported as power-efficient
spuriously, dispatching a bogus powerEfficientPlaybackStateChanged event
to the frontend.

Compare the frame counts directly so the check expresses "composited
frame count increased" and cannot underflow. The increase and no-change
cases are unaffected; the only altered case is a decrease, which
previously wrapped to a spurious power-efficient report and now correctly
reports not-power-efficient (self-correcting on the next sample).

* Source/WebCore/inspector/agents/InspectorDOMAgent.cpp:
(WebCore::InspectorDOMAgent::mediaMetricsTimerFired):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316443@main",

Per CSS View Transitions 2, a document only initiates an
outbound transition once it "has been revealed", and pagereveal is tied
to the first rendering opportunity.

Skip revealing a document that has an in-progress navigation replacing it,
and don't start an outbound cross-document view transition unless the old
document has been revealed.

* LayoutTests/TestExpectations:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-view-transitions/navigation/reveal-after-aborted-navigation.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-view-transitions/navigation/reveal-after-aborted-navigation-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-view-transitions/navigation/resources/abort-before-render.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-view-transitions/navigation/skip-outbound-vt-before-reveal-expected.txt:
* Source/WebCore/dom/Document.cpp:
(WebCore::Document::reveal):
* Source/WebCore/dom/Document.h:
(WebCore::Document::hasBeenRevealed const):
* Source/WebCore/loader/DocumentLoader.cpp:
(WebCore::DocumentLoader::navigationCanTriggerCrossDocumentViewTransition):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316446@main",

If the associated
JSGlobalObject died before the background work completed, the GC End phase
cancelled the ticket, doWork() removed the cancelled entry from
m_pendingTickets, and the last Ref<TicketData> dropped — freeing the slot. The
background thread then dereferenced the dangling pointer in
scheduleWorkSoon(stalePtr, ...). Because the TZone allocator reuses freed
slots, m_pendingTickets.find(stalePtr) could match a fresh ticket at the same
address, running the stale callback against the wrong target and tripping a
jsCast / JSPromise::flags assertion in doWork.

0e0b5050 fixed WasmStreamingCompiler for this pattern by storing
ThreadSafeWeakPtr<TicketData> and promote-and-checking at every use site.
This patch moves the safety requirement into the API so future callers can't
regress:

1. Rename DeferredWorkTimer::TicketData to DeferredWorkTimer::Ticket and
    remove the old `using Ticket = TicketData*` alias.
2. Add `using WeakTicket = ThreadSafeWeakPtr<Ticket>`. addPendingWork now
    returns WeakTicket.
3. Replace scheduleWorkSoon(Ticket, Task&&) with the new
    scheduleWorkSoonIfActive(const WeakTicket&, Task&&) which internally
    promotes the weak ticket, drops the request if it's gone or cancelled,
    and returns whether it was queued. This is the only way to enqueue work,
    so callers cannot forget the liveness check.
4. Change m_tasks from Deque<std::tuple<Ticket, Task>> to
    Deque<std::tuple<Ref<Ticket>, Task>> so queued work keeps the ticket
    alive until doWork() runs, closing the slot-reuse window the repro
    exploits.
5. hasPendingWork, hasDependencyInPendingWork, cancelPendingWork take
    Ticket& so callers already holding a RefPtr can't accidentally pass a
    null / raw pointer across an async boundary.
6. Task signature is Function<void(Ticket&)>; doWork dereferences the
    stored Ref when dispatching.

Call-site cleanups:
* jsc.cpp functionSetTimeout — no more manual promote/check; the dispatch
lambda just forwards the WeakTicket into scheduleWorkSoonIfActive.
* WasmStreamingCompiler — m_ticket becomes ThreadSafeWeakPtr<Ticket>; the
destructor, didComplete, fail, and cancel paths use the new API.
* JSWebAssembly.cpp webAssemblyModuleValidateAsync / instantiate /
compileAndInstantiate — three shared-task lambdas that previously
captured raw ticket / globalObject / promise pointers now capture a
WeakTicket, recover promise / globalObject / dependencies from
Ticket::target() and Ticket::dependencies() inside the scheduled task,
and let scheduleWorkSoonIfActive handle liveness.
* WaiterListManager — m_ticket type rename; scheduleWorkAndClear collapses
to a single scheduleWorkSoonIfActive that clears on success.
* JSFinalizationRegistry — synchronous path uses scheduleWorkSoonIfActive
and RELEASE_ASSERTs the return to match the existing contract.

The now-empty DeferredWorkTimerInlines.h is removed.

Test: JSTests/stress/wasm-compile-stale-ticket.js

Originally-landed-as: 305413.892@safari-7624-branch (824ba19ea552). rdar://180437200
Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316448@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318088

Reviewed by Darin Adler.

Assert RunLoop::Timer is stopped and destroyed on its own run loop's thread
to help find thread safety bugs. Use ASSERT_WITH_SECURITY_IMPLICATION
to help the fuzzers find such bugs.

Starting (and re-arming) a timer from another thread is safe and supported (that is
how dispatch()/dispatchAfter() and cross-thread schedulers like JSRunLoopTimer work),
so only assert thread affinity on stop() and destruction, and only when the timer is
active (tearing down a never-started or already-stopped timer off-thread is harmless).
On Cocoa, start() re-arms an already-fired one-shot by invalidating the old
CFRunLoopTimer in place; this does so without the affinity assert (it does not free the
TimerBase, so it cannot cause the cross-thread use-after-free stop()/the destructor
guard against).

This immediately caught a real teardown race in MockRealtimeVideoSource,
whose m_emitFrameTimer fires on a dedicated "generateFrame" run loop but
was being stopped directly from the main thread (in stopProducingData()
and setIsInterrupted()), racing CFRunLoopTimerInvalidate() against an
in-flight timer callback. Fix it by marshaling the timer start and stop
onto m_runLoop (matching what the destructor already does), routing both
through startCaptureTimer()/stopCaptureTimer() so they stay correctly
ordered relative to each other.

It also caught a bug in RemoteLayerTreeEventDispatcher, which owns timers on two
different run loops: m_delayedRenderingUpdateDetectionTimer fires on the scrolling
thread, while m_wheelEventActivityHysteresis's timer fires on the main run loop.
The object is ThreadSafeRefCounted and was destroyed on whichever thread dropped
the last reference, so one of the two timers was always torn down off its run
loop's thread. Fix it by (a) destroying m_delayedRenderingUpdateDetectionTimer on
the scrolling thread from invalidate(), after m_scrollingTree has been cleared so
any in-flight didRefreshDisplay() returns early and cannot recreate it, and (b)
making the dispatcher DestructionThread::MainRunLoop so it (and its main-run-loop
timers) is always destroyed on the main run loop, even when invalidate()'s
scrolling-thread dispatch drops the last reference. invalidate() also cancels the
hysteresis so its timer does not fire a spurious state change during teardown.

It caught IOSurfacePool, whose m_collectionTimer fires on the main run loop but
whose discardAllSurfaces() can run on another thread when an ImageBuffer backend
is destroyed in the GPU process. Stop the timer on the main run loop in that case.

It also caught the scroll-snap timers in ScrollingEffectsController, which are
created against the scrolling thread's run loop (ThreadedScrollingTreeScrollingNodeDelegate::createTimer)
but were stopped on the main thread from stopAllTimers() during commitTreeState().
Hand those timers to the client for destruction instead of stopping them inline,
and have the threaded delegate destroy them on the scrolling thread. The timer's
callback holds a Ref to the scrolling node (and ScrollerPairMac already releases
its main-thread resources via ensureOnMainThread()), so the node stays alive until
the timer is gone and a late-firing callback remains safe.

It also caught ScratchBuffer (ShadowBlur), whose m_purgeTimer fires on the main
run loop but was restarted from scheduleScratchBufferPurge() on a paint worker thread
(RemoteGraphicsContext in the GPU process). Restarting an active timer off-thread is
unsafe because start() invalidates the existing CFRunLoopTimer; schedule the purge on
the main run loop via ensureOnMainRunLoop() so m_purgeTimer is only ever touched there.

The assertions are not Cocoa-specific: every RunLoop backend (CF, GLib, generic,
Windows) reaches the TimerBase via the run loop's own thread, so they all assert.
On GTK this caught ThreadedCompositor::m_renderTimer, which is bound to the compositor
thread's run loop (m_workQueue) but whose start/stop was driven from the main thread
via suspend()/resume()/invalidate(). Route the render-timer start/stop through a new
updateRenderTimer() that hops to the compositor thread; the desired state stays tracked
synchronously under m_state.lock by m_state.isRenderTimerActive. The same suspend()/
resume() path also reaches AcceleratedSurface::m_releaseUnusedBuffersTimer (via
visibilityDidChange()) and AcceleratedSurface tears it down in willDestroyCompositingRunLoop();
that timer is likewise bound to the compositing run loop, so confine its start/stop and
destruction to that run loop too.

It also caught JSC's Atomics.waitAsync timeout timer (WaiterListManager): the timeout
is a RunLoop::dispatchAfter() timer created on the waiting agent's thread, but
Waiter::clearTimer() stop()s it from the notifying agent's thread (Atomics.notify) or a
GC thread. A dispatchAfter() timer is fire-and-forget -- its callback holds a self-
reference, so it stays alive, fires once on its own thread, and tears itself down there;
stopping it early both raced cross-thread and leaked it (the self-reference was never
consumed). Since the timeout handler is idempotent (the waiter's ticket is already
cleared), clearTimer() now just drops the waiter's reference and lets the timer fire
harmlessly on its own thread.

* Source/JavaScriptCore/runtime/WaiterListManager.h:
* Source/WTF/wtf/FunctionDispatcher.h:
(WTF::WTF_ASSERTS_ACQUIRED_CAPABILITY):
* Source/WTF/wtf/RunLoop.h:
(WTF::WTF_ASSERTS_ACQUIRED_CAPABILITY):
* Source/WTF/wtf/cf/RunLoopCF.cpp:
(WTF::RunLoop::TimerBase::start):
(WTF::RunLoop::TimerBase::stop):
* Source/WTF/wtf/generic/RunLoopGeneric.cpp:
(WTF::RunLoop::TimerBase::~TimerBase):
(WTF::RunLoop::TimerBase::stop):
* Source/WTF/wtf/glib/RunLoopGLib.cpp:
(WTF::RunLoop::TimerBase::~TimerBase):
(WTF::RunLoop::TimerBase::stop):
* Source/WTF/wtf/win/RunLoopWin.cpp:
(WTF::RunLoop::TimerBase::stop):
* Source/WebCore/page/scrolling/ThreadedScrollingTreeScrollingNodeDelegate.cpp:
(WebCore::ThreadedScrollingTreeScrollingNodeDelegate::destroyTimer):
* Source/WebCore/page/scrolling/ThreadedScrollingTreeScrollingNodeDelegate.h:
* Source/WebCore/platform/ScrollingEffectsController.h:
(WebCore::ScrollingEffectsControllerClient::destroyTimer):
* Source/WebCore/platform/graphics/ShadowBlur.cpp:
* Source/WebCore/platform/graphics/cg/IOSurfacePool.cpp:
(WebCore::IOSurfacePool::stopCollectionTimer):
(WebCore::IOSurfacePool::discardAllSurfacesInternal):
* Source/WebCore/platform/graphics/cg/IOSurfacePool.h:
* Source/WebCore/platform/mac/ScrollingEffectsController.mm:
(WebCore::ScrollingEffectsController::stopAllTimers):
* Source/WebCore/platform/mock/MockRealtimeVideoSource.cpp:
(WebCore::MockRealtimeVideoSource::applyFrameRateAndZoomWithPreset):
(WebCore::MockRealtimeVideoSource::startCaptureTimer):
(WebCore::MockRealtimeVideoSource::stopCaptureTimer):
(WebCore::MockRealtimeVideoSource::stopProducingData):
(WebCore::MockRealtimeVideoSource::setIsInterrupted):
* Source/WebCore/platform/mock/MockRealtimeVideoSource.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/RemoteLayerTree/mac/RemoteLayerTreeEventDispatcher.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/RemoteLayerTree/mac/RemoteLayerTreeEventDispatcher.mm:
(WebKit::RemoteLayerTreeEventDispatcher::~RemoteLayerTreeEventDispatcher):
(WebKit::RemoteLayerTreeEventDispatcher::invalidate):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/WebPage/CoordinatedGraphics/ThreadedCompositor.cpp:
(WebKit::ThreadedCompositor::startRenderTimer):
(WebKit::ThreadedCompositor::stopRenderTimer):
(WebKit::ThreadedCompositor::updateRenderTimer):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/WebPage/CoordinatedGraphics/AcceleratedSurface.cpp:
(WebKit::AcceleratedSurface::visibilityDidChange):
(WebKit::AcceleratedSurface::didCreateCompositingRunLoop):
(WebKit::AcceleratedSurface::willDestroyCompositingRunLoop):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/WebPage/CoordinatedGraphics/AcceleratedSurface.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/WebPage/CoordinatedGraphics/ThreadedCompositor.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316457@main",

The CoreImage applier propagated tableLength = 0 to the
Metal kernel, whose Table/Discrete branches computed the table index as
min((int)(component * n), n - 1) with no lower clamp, yielding k = -1 and
dereferencing tableStart[-1] inside CoreImage's stitched argument buffer. The
result was rendered to an IOSurface readable by the WebContent process.

The software path in FEComponentTransfer::computeLookupTable() guards this with
"if (n < 1) return;" but the CoreImage path never adopted that guard.

Fix this in two places:
- In applyOther(), treat an empty tableValues for a Table/Discrete channel as
  Identity, matching the software path.
- In the Metal kernel, clamp the table index to [0, n - 1] / [0, n] so a
  negative input component (extended-range pixels) cannot drive a negative
  index either.

Test: ipc/feComponentTransfer-empty-tableValues-accelerated.html

* LayoutTests/ipc/feComponentTransfer-empty-tableValues-accelerated-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/ipc/feComponentTransfer-empty-tableValues-accelerated.html: Added.
* Source/WebCore/platform/graphics/coreimage/FEComponentTransferCoreImageApplier.mm:
(WebCore::compontentTransferKernel):

Originally-landed-as: 305413.914@safari-7624-branch (b63cccc1753d). rdar://180429219
Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316461@main",

If the resolved value is proven non-object, it cannot be
a thenable, so the flag is set immediately. Otherwise, if it has a single
structure, we prove "then" is absent from the structure and its prototype
chain via tryEnsureAbsence and watch those conditions; adding "then" later
fires the watchpoints and jettisons the code.
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318066

Reviewed by Said Abou-Hallawa.

Per the SMIL Animation specification [1]:

    "If any values (i.e., the argument-values for from, to, by or
    values attributes) are not legal, the animation will have no
    effect."

The bool-returning plumbing through SVGAnimationFunction,
SVGAttributeAnimator and the animator wrappers, which lets a parse
failure propagate up to SVGAnimationElement::m_animationValid and drop
the animation, landed in 315549@main (bug 311817), and rejection of
invalid scalar color/length values followed for SVGAnimateElementBase::
setFromAndToValues(). The remaining scalar animators still coerced an
invalid value to zero (or an empty path) and animated to it, instead of
leaving the underlying value untouched.

This propagates parse validity for the rest of the scalar value
functions, routing the parsing through the property traits and a new
SVGPathByteStream factory so the fallible parse lives in one place:

  - SVGPropertyTraits<float>, SVGPropertyTraits<std::pair<int, int>> and
    SVGPropertyTraits<std::pair<float, float>> gain a parse() overload
    that returns std::nullopt on failure; fromString() is now a thin
    wrapper over parse(). SVGAnimationNumberFunction,
    SVGAnimatedIntegerPairAnimator and SVGAnimatedNumberPairAnimator call
    parse() and reject a 'from'/'to'/'by'/toAtEndOfDuration that fails.
  - SVGPathByteStream::create() builds a byte stream and returns
    std::nullopt for a malformed path; SVGAnimationPathSegListFunction
    uses it and rejects a malformed 'from'/'to'/toAtEndOfDuration.

An empty string is not handled inside parse()/create(): it is a legal
value in some contexts but not others, so each caller decides. An empty
'from' is accepted for to-animation mode (the start value is resolved at
runtime); a number/integer 'to' or 'by' must parse, so an empty value is
rejected there because "" is not a legal number. An empty path, by
contrast, is a legal (empty) path, so buildSVGPathByteStreamFromString()
accepting it is correct and the path animator does not reject it; empty
'd' animation behaviour is tracked separately by the tentative
animate-path-*-empty-* tests.

[1] https://www.w3.org/TR/2001/REC-smil-animation-20010904/#AnimFuncValues

* Source/WebCore/svg/SVGPathByteStream.h:
* Source/WebCore/svg/properties/SVGAnimatedPropertyPairAnimatorImpl.h:
* Source/WebCore/svg/properties/SVGAnimationAdditiveValueFunctionImpl.h:
* Source/WebCore/svg/properties/SVGPropertyTraits.h:
(WebCore::SVGPropertyTraits<float>::parse):

* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgnumber-animation-invalid-value-1-expected.txt: Progression
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgnumberoptionalnumber-animation-invalid-value-1-expected.txt: Ditto
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgintegeroptionalinteger-animation-invalid-value-1-expected.txt: Ditto
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgpath-animation-invalid-value-1-expected.txt: Ditto

* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgnumber-animation-invalid-value-2.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgnumber-animation-invalid-value-2-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgnumberoptionalnumber-animation-invalid-value-2.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgnumberoptionalnumber-animation-invalid-value-2-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgintegeroptionalinteger-animation-invalid-value-2.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgintegeroptionalinteger-animation-invalid-value-2-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgpath-animation-invalid-value-2.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgpath-animation-invalid-value-2-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgnumber-to-animation-valid-value-1.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/svgnumber-to-animation-valid-value-1-expected.txt: Added.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316468@main",

All three were
ultimately calling layoutWithFormattingContextForBox with some sort if
inline constraint. This inline constraint was getting set as the
overriding border box size on the renderer associated with the grid item
before calling layout on it. Instead, what should have been happening is
that this constraint should have been setting the *grid area content
width* which was computed from the previous step in the algorithm since
the grid area is the containing block for the item.

We can fix this by doing a couple of main things:

1.) Adding a dedicated API into IntegrationUtils for the min/max content
height contributions and renaming the minContentHeight API to
minContentHeightForGridItem.

This first makes the grid layout much more clear since instead of mixing
integration level code with grid layout code we just call into the
integration API with the same name. Instead of grid layout being
responsible for determining how to compute this size it moves to the
integration code where it does whatever is needed to get the right value
back from the render tree.

2.) Set the grid area content width on the renderer before calling into
layoutWithFormattingContextForBox. Note we do not pass in any
constraints to layoutWithFormattingContextForBox since we do not want
it to set any overriding sizes on the renderer. This matches what
GridTrackSizingAlgorithm currently does to compute these sizes.

All three of these functions call into a helper function that switches
on the type of height the caller is interested in. Currently all three
cases do the same thing but this may change over time as we continue the
implementation.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316469@main",

KeyframeEffect stores these as two independent
vectors populated by separate paths: m_parsedKeyframes is set via the Web
Animations API (setKeyframes), while m_blendingKeyframes is recomputed from
the CSS rule (computeCSSAnimationBlendingKeyframes). For a style-originated
(CSS) animation whose keyframes were re-set through the Web Animations API
and later recomputed from the CSS rule, parsedKeyframes.size() can be smaller
than blendingKeyframes.size(). Inspecting such an animation in the Web
Inspector Animations panel then reads past the end of parsedKeyframes.

Guard the access with a bounds check (i < parsedKeyframes.size()) instead of
the emptiness check, matching the pattern already used by
KeyframeEffect::timingFunctionForKeyframeAtIndex(). When the index is out of
range the code falls through to the existing blendingKeyframe.timingFunction()
and backing-animation fallbacks, so well-sized keyframes are unaffected.

* Source/WebCore/inspector/agents/InspectorAnimationAgent.cpp:
(WebCore::buildObjectForKeyframes):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316470@main
rdar://178567852

Reviewed by Alex Christensen.

The injected bundle's -webProcessPlugIn:willDestroyBrowserContextController:
hook fires synchronously from WebPage::close() in the WebProcess, and bundle
clients are allowed to invoke a UIProcess-side _WKRemoteObjectRegistry method
from that hook. The resulting RemoteObjectRegistry::InvokeMethod IPC arrives
at the UIProcess after WebPageProxy::close() has synchronously called
WebProcessProxy::removeWebPage(), so the page is no longer in m_pageMap (or
m_remotePages / m_provisionalPages / m_suspendedPages).

WebProcessProxy::handleRemoteObjectRegistryMessage then returned false, which
caused the generated didReceiveMessage to mark the decoder invalid and the
IPC layer to call WebProcessProxy::didReceiveInvalidMessage, terminating an
otherwise well-behaved WebProcess.

To fix this, mark every content process for the page as pending-close before
dispatching Messages::WebPage::Close, and only clear the marker once the
async reply arrives. WebProcessProxy::isAssociatedWithPage already consults
m_pagesPendingClose, so a late-arriving InvokeMethod is now recognized and
delivered to the registry. m_pagesPendingClose is changed from HashSet to
HashCountedSet so the regular close path and the provisional-page-swap close
path compose correctly when both target the same page.

handleRemoteObjectRegistryMessage is reworked to consult isAssociatedWithPage
and look the page up via the global WebPageProxy::fromIdentifier, replacing
the four sequential map walks.

Note that this commit makes the branch more in-line with main after 314178@main.
314178@main already takes care of adding the page to m_pagesPendingClose while
we're sending the WebPage::Close IPC. Also include the fix from 314426@main,
since it fixed a crash introduced by 314178@main.

TLDR: this PR is essentially a merge for 314178@main & 314178@main from
main so that WebProcessProxy::m_pagesPendingClose gets properly populated.
Then WebProcessProxy::handleRemoteObjectRegistryMessage() is updated to
call WebProcessProxy::isAssociatedWithPage() instead of duplicating its
logic. WebProcessProxy::isAssociatedWithPage also has the benefit of
checking m_pagesPendingClose already.

Update WKWebView.EvaluateJavaScriptBlockCrash test expectation to match
313673@main: now that Messages::WebPage::Close is an async-reply message,
the WebProcess is kept alive (via the shutdownPreventingScope held in the
Close reply handler) long enough for the pending evaluateJavaScript IPC to
be processed and reply with a successful empty result, instead of being
cancelled by Connection::cancelAsyncReplyHandlers when the connection is
invalidated. The completion handler is therefore invoked with a nil error,
matching the same test expectation update made in 313673@main.

Tests: RemoteObjectRegistry.InvokeMethodFromBundleDuringPageClose

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/ProvisionalPageProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::ProvisionalPageProxy::~ProvisionalPageProxy):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/RemotePageProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::RemotePageProxy::disconnect):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/SuspendedPageProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::SuspendedPageProxy::close):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/WebPageProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::WebPageProxy::close):
(WebKit::WebPageProxy::commitProvisionalPage):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/WebProcessProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::WebProcessProxy::~WebProcessProxy):
(WebKit::WebProcessProxy::sendPageCloseMessage):
(WebKit::WebProcessProxy::handleRemoteObjectRegistryMessage):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/WebProcessProxy.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/WebPage/WebPage.cpp:
(WebKit::WebPage::close):
(WebKit::WebPage::closeWithReply): Deleted.
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/WebPage/WebPage.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/WebPage/WebPage.messages.in:
* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/Tests/WebKitCocoa/RemoteObjectRegistry.h:
* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/Tests/WebKitCocoa/RemoteObjectRegistry.mm:
(TEST(RemoteObjectRegistry, InvokeMethodFromBundleDuringPageClose)):
* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/Tests/WebKitCocoa/RemoteObjectRegistryPlugIn.mm:
(-[RemoteObjectRegistryPlugIn triggerCallToUIProcessOnClose]):
(-[RemoteObjectRegistryPlugIn webProcessPlugIn:willDestroyBrowserContextController:]):
* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/Tests/WebKitCocoa/WKWebViewEvaluateJavaScript.mm:
(TEST(WKWebView, EvaluateJavaScriptBlockCrash)):

Originally-landed-as: 305413.880@safari-7624.4-branch (d0f2013438ba). rdar://181073656
Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316477@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=313857
rdar://174651279

Reviewed by Chris Dumez.

When a page tries to write an ArrayBuffer of audio data to an audio node
(writing to node.buffer), the page can free the ArrayBuffer's backing
store and leave the audio node to read the freed memory through a cached
pointer.

An AudioBufferSourceNode caches raw pointers into an AudioBuffer's channel
data when you set node.buffer. This happens in AudioBufferSourceNode::setBufferForBindings
where a pointer from a span is cached in m_sourceChannels[i].
Those pointers point into ArrayBuffer backing stores managed by JSC.
If the memory is not pinned, or detachable, then
the page can force the ArrayBuffer's backing store to be freed by
dropping the reference to the result of structuredClone on the original buffer
and kicking off a GC.

Two previous commits (one was a re-land), fixed this same bug by pinning
the memory (making it non-detachable), so that the backing store can't
be detached and leave a copy to be freed. In fact, pinning the memory
will cause structuredClone to fail with a TypeError.
1. rdar://123510096, https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=270007
2. rdar://126326144, https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=272607

Those patches are supposed to pin those ArrayBuffers (make them non-detachable)
to keep the memory alive, but it only pins if the node is already playing.
If you set the buffer before calling start() (i.e. when the node is in UNSCHEDULED_STATE),
the pin is skipped (since isPlayingOrScheduled() is false).

An attacker exploits this by:
1. Setting the buffer (spans cached, no pin)
2. Transferring the channel ArrayBuffer via structuredClone (detaches it)
3. Dropping the copy and triggering GC (backing store freed)
4. Starting playback with loop=true and playbackRate=0

The audio node then reads from freed memory through the dangling spans
during AudioBufferSourceNode::renderFromBuffer() when it reads
m_sourceChannels.

This patch removes the condition to pin the audio buffer
(mark it as non-detachable). Previously, the audio buffer was only
pinned when isPlayingOrScheduled() was true, however, this patch
pins the memory unconditionally. This way if the page tries
to call structuredClone, it will now throw a TypeError and
avoid the opportunity to free the backing store.

In addition, this patch adds the following defensive hardenings
in case the same exploit is triggered via another path:
1. Early return if bufferLength == 0 in AudioBufferSourceNode::renderFromBuffer()
    before the freed m_sourceChannels is read. bufferLength would be 0
    if the memory was detached (not pinned)
2. Fix the following code that calculates the index into
    the audio buffer in AudioBufferSourceNode::renderFromBuffer():

        m_virtualReadIndex = std::min(m_virtualReadIndex, static_cast<double>( bufferLength - 1));

    This patch changes the static cast from
        static_cast<double>(bufferLength - 1)
    to
        static_cast<double>(bufferLength) - 1
    since bufferLength is unsigned (size_t) so when
    bufferLength is 0, it previously could cause the unsigned
    (size_t) to underflow making the upper limit of the std::min
    bounds check effectively useless.
3. Add a guard to bounds check readIndex in the case where !pitchRate.
    This happens where the attacker sets node.playbackRate.value = 0;
    Every other branch already bounds-checks readIndex. This was the
    one path that didn't.

As a side note, an alternative approach to fix this bug, could be to
acquire an internal copy of the audio data which is not accessible from JS.
This is described in the webaudio spec and was attempted to be implemented
in a previous fix but caused increased memory usage and the tradeoff to
detach the memory was chosen instead.
See the message and FIXME from https://commits.webkit.org/272448.925@safari-7618-branch

This also updates an ASSERT in ArrayBuffer::errorMessageForTransfer
from ASSERT(buffer->isLocked()) to ASSERT(!buffer->isDetachable())
since the regression test is hitting this path and not keeping the buffer
alive via locking, but instead is pinning it (which isDetachable()
is aware of, unlike isLocked()).

Test: webaudio/audiobuffersource-detached-buffer-crash.html

* LayoutTests/webaudio/audiobuffersource-detached-buffer-crash-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/webaudio/audiobuffersource-detached-buffer-crash.html: Added.
* Source/JavaScriptCore/runtime/ArrayBuffer.cpp:
(JSC::errorMessageForTransfer):
* Source/WebCore/Modules/webaudio/AudioBufferSourceNode.cpp:
(WebCore::AudioBufferSourceNode::renderFromBuffer):
(WebCore::AudioBufferSourceNode::setBufferForBindings):

Originally-landed-as: 305413.815@safari-7624-branch (7aaeec1bad67). rdar://180436186
Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316481@main",

Both are WeakPtr member variables on
CSSStyleSheet or XSLStyleSheet with .get() returning a raw pointer with no ref count increment,
and the backing WeakPtrImpl can be freed by the main thread between the read and the subsequent
dereference, causing a heap use-after-free.

The same root(StyleSheet*) function is the convergence point for JSCSSRule's
visitAdditionalChildren and JSCSSStyleDeclaration's visitAdditionalChildren, so all three GC
visitor paths are affected.

To address this bug, this PR adds a pure virtual opaqueRootForGCThread() to so root(StyleSheet*)
becomes a single virtual dispatch, eliminating the unsafe inline chain traversal. This function
then uses a newly added lock (m_opaqueRootLockForGC in CSSStyleSheet and XSLStyleSheet) to
guard against m_ownerNode being modified while the main thread is mutating it.

In addition, we had a GC correctness bug that @import child stylesheets (which have m_ownerRule
but no m_ownerNode) would not keep its parent stylesheet's JS wrapper alive even though it's
accessible via parentStyleSheet property.

To implement these changes and to avoid thread safety issues, this PR changes the type of
m_ownerNode and m_ownerRule in CSSStyleSheet and XSLStyleSheet from WeakPtr to CheckedPtr since
WeakPtr loads the pointee address via WeakPtrImpl, which may be concurrently free'ed in the main
thread while we're accessing it in a GC thread. Note that all owner element destructors
(HTMLStyleElement, HTMLLinkElement, SVGStyleElement, ProcessingInstruction) call clearOwnerNode()
before the Node base-class destructor, so the CheckedPtr count reaches zero in time. Similarly,
learOwnerRule() is called from the CSSImportRule and StyleRuleImport destructors before
CSSImportRule is freed so CheckedPtr's assertion should not fire.

No new tests for the data race issue itself since there is no reliable way of testing it.

Test: fast/dom/StyleSheet/gc-import-rule-stylesheet.html

* LayoutTests/fast/dom/StyleSheet/gc-import-rule-stylesheet-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/fast/dom/StyleSheet/gc-import-rule-stylesheet.html: Added.
* Source/WebCore/bindings/js/JSStyleSheetCustom.h:
(WebCore::root):
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSImportRule.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSImportRule::~CSSImportRule):
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSImportRule.h:
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSStyleSheet.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSStyleSheet::clearOwnerNode):
(WebCore::CSSStyleSheet::opaqueRootForGCThread):
(WebCore::CSSStyleSheet::clearOwnerRule):
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSStyleSheet.h:
* Source/WebCore/css/StyleSheet.h:
* Source/WebCore/xml/XSLStyleSheet.h:
* Source/WebCore/xml/XSLStyleSheetLibxslt.cpp:
(WebCore::XSLStyleSheet::XSLStyleSheet):
(WebCore::XSLStyleSheet::clearOwnerNode):
(WebCore::XSLStyleSheet::opaqueRootForGCThread):
* Source/WebKitLegacy/mac/DOM/DOMCSSImportRule.mm:
(-[DOMCSSImportRule media]):
(-[DOMCSSImportRule styleSheet]):

Originally-landed-as: 305413.691@safari-7624-branch (f41030176464). rdar://180436921
Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316485@main",
