It resolves any tracker webkitbugspy knows about --
an issue URL, rdar://
, or a bare radar id -- lists every attached
patch, and lets the user choose which one to apply, defaulting to a known
triage patch when one is present. But we may have some places which is
repeatedly calling a getter with various structures. Then Megamorphic IC
for getter is beneficial (setter is also beneficial, so we are planning
to have that later).

Key observation is that megamorphic IC getter site is just handling getters.
It is very rare that one property access site is having normal
properties and getters. It is typically either normal-properties-only or
getters-only. Thus this patch adds LoadMegamorphicGetter which handles
getter well so that we can keep LoadMegamorphic clean and extremely
optimized while we start handling getter sites as well.

* JSTests/stress/megamorphic-getter-ic.js: Added.
(shouldBe):
(makeShapes.const.getter):
(makeShapes.get shapes):
(makeShapes.else.get const):
(makeShapes):
(access):
(shouldBe.access.):
(shouldBe.access.get const):
(shouldBe.access.accessSide):
(shouldBe.access):
(shouldBe.):
(shouldBe.get const):
(shouldBe.accessReconf):
(shouldBe.get for):
(shouldBe.const.getter):
(shouldBe.accessThrow):
(shouldBe.get else.get object):
(shouldBe.get else):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/bytecode/AccessCase.cpp:
(JSC::AccessCase::create):
(JSC::AccessCase::guardedByStructureCheckSkippingConstantIdentifierCheck const):
(JSC::AccessCase::requiresIdentifierNameMatch const):
(JSC::AccessCase::requiresInt32PropertyCheck const):
(JSC::AccessCase::forEachDependentCell const):
(JSC::AccessCase::doesCalls const):
(JSC::AccessCase::canReplace const):
(JSC::AccessCase::runWithDowncast):
(JSC::AccessCase::canBeShared):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/bytecode/AccessCase.h:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/bytecode/GetByStatus.cpp:
(JSC::GetByStatus::computeForPropertyInlineCacheWithoutExitSiteFeedback):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/bytecode/InlineCacheCompiler.cpp:
(JSC::needsScratchFPR):
(JSC::forInBy):
(JSC::isStateless):
(JSC::doesJSCalls):
(JSC::isMegamorphic):
(JSC::canBeViaGlobalProxy):
(JSC::InlineCacheCompiler::generateWithGuard):
(JSC::InlineCacheCompiler::generateAccessCase):
(JSC::InlineCacheCompiler::tryFoldToMegamorphic):
(JSC::getterCallFromGetterSetterImpl):
(JSC::getterHandlerImpl):
(JSC::getByIdMegamorphicGetterHandler):
(JSC::InlineCacheCompiler::compileOneAccessCaseHandler):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/bytecode/InlineCacheCompiler.h:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/jit/AssemblyHelpers.cpp:
(JSC::AssemblyHelpers::findMegamorphicCacheEntry):
(JSC::AssemblyHelpers::loadMegamorphicProperty):
(JSC::AssemblyHelpers::loadMegamorphicGetterSetter):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/jit/AssemblyHelpers.h:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/jit/ICStats.h:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/jit/JITOperations.cpp:
(JSC::getByIdMegamorphic):
(JSC::JSC_DEFINE_JIT_OPERATION):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/jit/JITThunks.h:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/runtime/MegamorphicCache.cpp:
(JSC::MegamorphicCache::age):
(JSC::MegamorphicCache::clearEntries):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/runtime/MegamorphicCache.h:
(JSC::MegamorphicCache::offsetOfGetterCachePrimaryEntries):
(JSC::MegamorphicCache::offsetOfGetterCacheSecondaryEntries):
(JSC::MegamorphicCache::initAsGetterHit):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316687@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318488
rdar://181175045

Reviewed by Sihui Liu.

Under Site Isolation, after a cross-site iframe creates a back/forward entry (e.g. by
submitting a GET form so the iframe navigates) and the main frame then navigates away,
pressing Back was a no-op: the main frame never traversed and the screen did not change.
With Site Isolation off the identical sequence works, so the bug was SI-specific.

Root cause: a cross-site child-frame navigation stacks a new joint back/forward item
(created by the iframe's process) that describes the same main-frame document as the item
the main frame's process still knows as current. When the main frame later navigates away,
the WebProcess caches the outgoing main-frame document and reports DidCacheBackForwardItem
keyed to its own -- now stale -- main-frame item. WebPageProxy::didCacheBackForwardItem
therefore attached the back/forward cache entry to the stale item, not to the current joint
item that a subsequent main-frame Back actually targets. On goBack,
WebPageProxy::goToBackForwardItem found no cache entry on the target item, set
ShouldRestoreFromBackForwardCache to No, and the WebProcess evicted its own valid cached
page instead of restoring it -- so the main frame never committed and Back was a no-op.

Fix: in didCacheBackForwardItem, when the reported item is not the current item but the two
have the same main-frame history entry, attach the cache entry to the current item so it
lands on the item Back will actually traverse. The new
WebBackForwardListItem::hasSameMainFrameHistoryEntry compares the two main frames' item and
document sequence numbers only -- unlike itemIsClone(), it ignores subframe differences,
which is what distinguishes the stale item from the joint item that carries the iframe entry.

This relies on DidCacheBackForwardItem (sent from the outgoing page's
FrameLoader::commitProvisionalLoad) being delivered before BackForwardAddItem for the
incoming main-frame item, so currentItem() is still the joint item here. That holds for a
same-process main-frame navigation because both IPCs ride one connection; a cross-site (PSON)
outgoing page is suspended via SuspendedPageProxy and never reaches this in-process cache path.

Tested by a new API test, SiteIsolation.CrossSiteIframeBackForwardEntryThenMainFrameBackTraverses:
it is a no-op Back (fails) without this change and traverses correctly with it. The paired
CrossSiteIframeBackForwardEntryThenMainFrameBackTraversesWithoutSiteIsolation is the SI-off control.

* Source/WebKit/Shared/WebBackForwardListItem.cpp:
(WebKit::WebBackForwardListItem::hasSameMainFrameHistoryEntry):
* Source/WebKit/Shared/WebBackForwardListItem.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/WebPageProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::WebPageProxy::didCacheBackForwardItem):
* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/Tests/WebKit/WKWebView/SiteIsolation.mm:
(testCrossSiteIframeBackForwardEntryThenMainFrameBack):
(TestWebKitAPI::TEST):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316688@main",

The font fails to realize (e.g. a font string that parses but resolves to an empty family list), so state().font's underlying FontCascade::m_fonts stays null.
3. metricsOfPrimaryFont() then reaches FontCascade::primaryFont(), which dereferences the null m_fonts;

The draw path does not hit this because it is gated by canDrawText(), which returns false when the font is not realized.
The measure path had no equivalent guard.

* Source/WebCore/html/canvas/CanvasRenderingContext2DBase.cpp:
(WebCore::CanvasRenderingContext2DBase::measureTextInternal):
* LayoutTests/fast/canvas/offscreen-canvas-measureText-unrealized-font-crash.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/fast/canvas/offscreen-canvas-measureText-unrealized-font-crash-expected.txt: Added.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316690@main",

A shrinking marker then left its former area behind.

Record the visual overflow, including markers, at the end of RenderSVGShape::layout() via the
new updateCachedVisualOverflowRect(), so the old bounds are cached while the geometry is still
current. On a marker change, resourceChanged() repaints those old bounds before invalidating the
cache and recomputing the new ones. The extra repaint is gated to markers, since gradients and
patterns do not change the client's bounds.

Fixes svg/repaint/marker-markerUnits-dynamic-update-repaint.html and
svg/repaint/marker-orient-dynamic-update-repaint.html, with more accurate repaint rects
than the legacy engine had. We currently have the disable animations setting
hooked up to the prefers-reduced-motion CSS media query. Let's stop
using that, and use the new reduced motion setting instead. For good
measure, I've also created a new WPE API setting matching the new name,
and removed the older one (because the WPEPlatform API is not stable
yet).

I had been planning to stop there, but then I noticed that we have the
prefers-contrast media query implemented only for GTK 3. I have
implemented it for GTK 4 as well. This required some effort, because
WebKit has it implemented as a boolean value, but GNOME and CSS both use
a tri-state, so I had to change a bunch of places to expose it as a
tri-state. I've also created a new WPE setting for this as well. I
considered updating Internals so that I could expose the tri-state to
layout tests as well, but it currently uses ForcedAccessibilityValue
which is a boolean, and I decided not to try changing this.

Finally, I've improved the implementation of the prefers-color-scheme
media query for GTK 4. This is an especially significant change because
it previously did not respect the user's dark mode preference at all.
Now a bunch of websites will become dark.

This is my second attempt to land the change. The first attempt,
316627@main, was reverted because it broke the WPE build.

* Source/WebCore/css/query/MediaQueryFeatures.cpp:
(WebCore::MQ::Features::prefersContrastFeatureSchema):
* Source/WebCore/inspector/agents/InspectorPageAgent.cpp:
(WebCore::InspectorPageAgent::defaultUserPreferencesDidChange):
* Source/WebCore/platform/Theme.h:
(WebCore::Theme::userPreferredContrast const):
(WebCore::Theme::userPrefersContrast const): Deleted.
* Source/WebCore/platform/adwaita/ThemeAdwaita.cpp:
(WebCore::ThemeAdwaita::ThemeAdwaita):
(WebCore::ThemeAdwaita::refreshSettings):
(WebCore::ThemeAdwaita::userPreferredContrast const):
(WebCore::ThemeAdwaita::userPrefersContrast const): Deleted.
* Source/WebCore/platform/adwaita/ThemeAdwaita.h:
* Source/WebCore/platform/glib/SystemSettings.cpp:
(WebCore::SystemSettings::updateSettings):
* Source/WebCore/platform/glib/SystemSettings.h:
(WebCore::SystemSettings::reducedMotion const):
(WebCore::SystemSettings::interfaceContrast const):
(WebCore::SystemSettings::enableAnimations const): Deleted.
* Source/WebCore/platform/ios/ThemeIOS.h:
* Source/WebCore/platform/ios/ThemeIOS.mm:
(WebCore::ThemeIOS::userPreferredContrast const):
(WebCore::ThemeIOS::userPrefersContrast const): Deleted.
* Source/WebCore/platform/mac/ThemeMac.h:
* Source/WebCore/platform/mac/ThemeMac.mm:
(WebCore::ThemeMac::userPreferredContrast const):
(WebCore::ThemeMac::userPrefersContrast const): Deleted.
* Source/WebCore/rendering/cocoa/RenderThemeCocoa.mm:
(WebCore::switchTrackColor):
(WebCore::paintSwitchTrackOnOffLabels):
(WebCore::paintLiquidGlassSwitchTrackOnOffLabels):
(WebCore::renderThemePaintLiquidGlassSwitchThumb):
(WebCore::renderThemePaintLiquidGlassSwitchTrack):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintCheckboxForVectorBasedControls):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintRadioForVectorBasedControls):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintButtonForVectorBasedControls):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintColorWellForVectorBasedControls):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintInnerSpinButtonForVectorBasedControls):
(WebCore::paintTextAreaOrTextField):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintMeterForVectorBasedControls):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintListButtonForVectorBasedControls):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintSliderThumbForVectorBasedControls):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintSearchFieldForVectorBasedControls):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintSearchFieldCancelButtonForVectorBasedControls):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintSearchFieldDecorationPartForVectorBasedControls):
(WebCore::RenderThemeCocoa::paintPlatformResizerForVectorBasedControls):
* Source/WebKit/Shared/glib/SystemSettings.serialization.in:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/glib/SystemSettingsManagerProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::SystemSettingsManagerProxy::reducedMotion const):
(WebKit::SystemSettingsManagerProxy::interfaceContrast const):
(WebKit::SystemSettingsManagerProxy::settingsDidChange):
(WebKit::SystemSettingsManagerProxy::enableAnimations const): Deleted.
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/glib/SystemSettingsManagerProxy.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/gtk/SystemSettingsManagerProxyGtk.cpp:
(WebKit::SystemSettingsManagerProxy::darkMode const):
(WebKit::SystemSettingsManagerProxy::reducedMotion const):
(WebKit::SystemSettingsManagerProxy::interfaceContrast const):
(WebKit::SystemSettingsManagerProxy::enableAnimations const): Deleted.
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/wpe/SystemSettingsManagerProxyWPE.cpp:
(WebKit::SystemSettingsManagerProxy::reducedMotion const):
(WebKit::SystemSettingsManagerProxy::interfaceContrast const):
(WebKit::SystemSettingsManagerProxy::enableAnimations const): Deleted.
* Source/WebKit/WPEPlatform/wpe/WPESettings.cpp:
(_WPESettingsPrivate::_WPESettingsPrivate):
* Source/WebKit/WPEPlatform/wpe/WPESettings.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316709@main",

That made the top-level flow hard to follow
next to the modern FlexLayout::layout, which reads as a sequence of named steps.

Move the item collection, the per-line layout loop, the first/last line item
count bookkeeping, and the empty-line minimum height into named helpers so
performFlexLayout reads as a short sequence of phases. numLines is replaced by
lineStates.size(), and the two identical hasLineIfEmpty minimum-height blocks are
unified. SkiaBackingStore
built the borrowed GL image from size() and sampled it using the image's own
dimensions, so Skia's normalized u=1.0/v=1.0 mapped to the padded edge of the
physical texture rather than the logical edge. The content was stretched and
the garbage padding columns/rows bled in, producing the observed glitches.
The TextureMapper compositor avoids this with its uvMax clamp - the Skia path
had no equivalent (linear tiles are unaffected since allocatedSize == size).

Describe the borrowed image at the physical allocatedSize() and restrict
sampling to the logical region via the new Tile::imageSourceRect(), mirroring
the uvMax clamp. The accelerated display-list path is unchanged as its surface
snapshot is already sized to the logical tile.

* Source/WebCore/platform/graphics/skia/SkiaBackingStore.cpp:
(WebCore::SkiaBackingStore::paintToCanvas):
(WebCore::SkiaBackingStore::buildImageSet const):
(WebCore::SkiaBackingStore::Tile::image const):
(WebCore::SkiaBackingStore::Tile::imageSourceRect const):
* Source/WebCore/platform/graphics/skia/SkiaBackingStore.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316716@main",

The operator
cannot be hidden from the importer, because the synthesis is eager and
the same module compiles C++ callers such as `TimerBase::isActive()`
that need it.

Re-declare the operator with a `using` declaration in each derived
class. The importer synthesizes the conversion correctly when the
operator is declared on the non-dependent derived class, while the base
keeps it for all C++ callers.

No new tests since this change is not directly testable.

* Source/WTF/wtf/ApproximateTime.h:
(WTF::ApproximateTime):
* Source/WTF/wtf/ContinuousApproximateTime.h:
(WTF::ContinuousApproximateTime):
* Source/WTF/wtf/ContinuousTime.h:
(WTF::ContinuousTime):
* Source/WTF/wtf/GenericTimeMixin.h:
(WTF::GenericTimeMixin::operator bool):
* Source/WTF/wtf/MonotonicTime.h:
(WTF::MonotonicTime):
* Source/WTF/wtf/ReducedResolutionSeconds.h:
(WTF::ReducedResolutionSeconds):
* Source/WTF/wtf/UnbarrieredMonotonicTime.h:
(WTF::UnbarrieredMonotonicTime):
* Source/WTF/wtf/WallTime.h:
(WTF::WallTime):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316725@main",

For each child it looks
up the corresponding frame and, when the frame is not a LocalFrame, it did a bare `return` that
abandoned the entire remaining sibling loop -- not just the remote child. So any local sibling
ordered after a RemoteFrame child was never appended to framesToNavigate and never received
loadItem(): it silently failed to traverse, and a Navigation API traverseTo()/back()/forward()
targeting that frame left its committed/finished promise unsettled.

The two sibling walkers (recursiveSetProvisionalItem, recursiveGoToItem) already use skip
semantics -- `if (RefPtr childFrame = dynamicDowncast<LocalFrame>(...))` -- and simply move on to
the next sibling. Match them: skip the RemoteFrame child (its traversal is driven in its own
process) and continue gathering the remaining local siblings.

* LayoutTests/http/wpt/navigation-api/traverse-subframe-remote-sibling.sub.html: Added. A
 Site-Isolation-pinned test with a cross-origin RemoteFrame sibling ordered before a same-origin
 LocalFrame; a joint traversal must still move the local frame. The private map declares the WebCore_Private
clang module, whose PlatformExportMacros submodule defines WEBCORE_EXPORT.

The CMake port stages only the public WebCore.modulemap, so a Swift or
C++-interop consumer that resolves <WebCore/...> through the framework
module reads the private headers textually and WEBCORE_EXPORT is left
undefined. Stage WebCore_Private.modulemap alongside the public map, into
the same Modules directory the bundle already symlinks, matching Xcode's
WebCore.framework product.

* Source/WebCore/PlatformCocoa.cmake:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316734@main",

Pasting content that carries file paths (e.g. an attachment) before the NetworkProcess connection
exists therefore hits the RELEASE_ASSERT and crashes the UI process.

This is a follow-up to 99d7f658ab04 (bug 301321), which added a similar hasRunningProcess() guard to the callback-based
overload of executeEditCommand() but did not cover this synchronous overload's unconditional connection() call.

Guard the wait with hasConnection() instead. The AllowFilesAccessFromWebProcess message itself is unaffected: it is
already queued safely regardless of process launch state, and its completion handler will still run once the
NetworkProcess is up and the reply is dispatched normally. Skipping the synchronous wait only means the paste's
completion handler may run asynchronously later rather than being fast-pathed within this call.

API Test: PasteImage.PasteFileWhileNetworkProcessIsLaunching

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/WebPageProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::WebPageProxy::executeEditCommand):
* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/Tests/WebKit/WKWebView/PasteImage.mm:
(TEST(PasteImage, PasteFileWhileNetworkProcessIsLaunching)):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316740@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=288329

Reviewed by BJ Burg.

This patch implements the browsingContext.locateNodes command with initial
support for CSS selector-based node location. The implementation includes
protocol definitions, parameter validation, DOM query execution, and
RemoteValue serialization for found nodes.

This patch also extracts shared serializationOptions validation to a reusable
helper and fixes a critical security issue where user-provided functions could
access WebAutomationSessionProxy internals via 'this' binding.

Key implementation details:
- Uses extractBrowsingContextHandles() to support both top-level and iframe contexts
- Inlines CSS selector logic directly in C++ string since _execute uses apply(null, ...)
- Returns actual DOM nodes from JavaScript for proper handle generation via WebKit's
 node serialization (_createNodeHandle/_identifierForNode in WebAutomationSessionProxy)
- Throws InvalidSelector error (not generic Error) for proper BiDi error mapping
- Accepts serializationOptions parameter per spec (validation only, not yet applied)
- Shared validation helper enables reuse across multiple BiDi commands

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Automation/protocol/BidiBrowsingContext.json:
Added Locator and LocatorType type definitions, and the locateNodes
command definition. Currently supports CSS selectors, with additional
locator types (xpath, innerText, accessibility) to be added in follow-up patches.
Added serializationOptions parameter to match BiDi spec.

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Automation/BidiBrowsingContextAgent.h:
Added locateNodes method declaration with serializationOptions parameter.

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Automation/BidiBrowsingContextAgent.cpp:
(WebKit::extractNodeFromLocateResult): Helper to parse [node, metadata] tuples.
(WebKit::parseLocateNodesResult): Helper to parse JavaScript query results.
(WebKit::BidiBrowsingContextAgent::locateNodes):
Implemented locateNodes command with CSS selector support. Uses shared
validateSerializationOptions() helper and inlines JavaScript logic since
wrapper functions have this=null and cannot access proxy methods.

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Automation/WebDriverBidiProcessor.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Automation/WebDriverBidiProcessor.cpp:
(WebKit::WebDriverBidiProcessor::validateSerializationOptions):
Added static helper to validate BiDi serializationOptions parameter (maxDomDepth,
maxObjectDepth, includeShadowTree). Returns CommandResult<void> for consistency.
Shared across multiple commands: browsingContext.locateNodes, script.callFunction,
script.evaluate.

* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Automation/WebAutomationSessionProxy.js:
(AutomationSessionProxy.prototype._execute):
Changed functionValue.apply(this, ...) to apply(null, ...) to prevent
user-provided functions from accessing proxy internals via 'this' binding.
This secures ALL user function execution (script.evaluate, script.callFunction).

* WebDriverTests/TestExpectations.json:
Enabled browsingContext.locateNodes tests for CSS selector locator type.

Support for startNodes parameter, serializationOptions application, and additional
locator types will be added in subsequent patches.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316749@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318472

Reviewed by BJ Burg.

Under Site Isolation the inspector backend could report an inconsistent
loaderId for the main frame: the id in the Page.getResourceTree snapshot
did not match the id carried by the network events for resources loaded
by that same frame. Because of the mismatch, a subresource requested by
the main frame (for example via fetch()) could intermittently be handled
by the frontend as a provisional load and not attributed to the frame.

The frontend attributes a resource to a frame by matching loaderIds. A
resource gets its loaderId from the UIProcess ProxyingNetworkAgent,
which derives it freshly from the live document's
ScriptExecutionContextIdentifier. The frame gets its loaderId once,
from the page target's Page.getResourceTree snapshot, which came from
BackendIdentifierRegistry::loaderId() -- a value memoized in a map
keyed by the raw DocumentLoader*. That cached value could go stale
(minted while the loader was still provisional, or held against a
DocumentLoader* whose address was later reused), so getResourceTree
reported a loaderId that no longer matched the frame's live document.

When the two disagree, NetworkManager._addResourceToFrame treats the
resource as the start of a provisional navigation and hands it to
startProvisionalLoad() instead of adding it. Because staleness depended
on timing and pointer reuse, the failure was intermittent.

Fix BackendIdentifierRegistry::loaderId() to compute the id directly
from the loader's current document instead of memoizing.
protocolLoaderId() is a deterministic function of the document's
ScriptExecutionContextIdentifier, so it now always matches what network
events report; the map is kept only for the pre-document fallback. Its
sole caller under Site Isolation is
InspectorPageAgent::buildObjectForFrame() with the committed
documentLoader(), so frame->document() always reflects that loader's
own document. The pre-Site-Isolation LegacyIdentifierRegistry path is
unaffected.

Test: http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/main-frame-resource-appears-in-network-domain.html
- Add the test we wanted to have, the main-frame variant of the sibling
 test cross-origin-iframe-resource-appears-in-network-domain.html,
 which would intermittently timing out without this patch.

* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/main-frame-resource-appears-in-network-domain-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/main-frame-resource-appears-in-network-domain.html: Added.
* Source/WebCore/inspector/InspectorIdentifierRegistry.cpp:
(Inspector::BackendIdentifierRegistry::loaderId):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316758@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318380

Reviewed by BJ Burg.

Fix the three skipped site-isolation/inspector/network tests. There were
three problems, where fixing one revealed another:

1. We were executing commands on the wrong frame target. Under SI, a
 cross-origin iframe is represented by two WI.FrameTargets: a
 placeholder created in the parent process (from
 WebFrameProxy::didCreateSubframe, isProvisional=false, where the
 iframe's JavaScript never runs) and the real target created in the
 iframe's own process (from ProvisionalFrameProxy /
 didCreateProvisionalFrame, isProvisional=true, where the execution
 context is created). The tests selected a target with a single-shot
 WI.targetManager.awaitEvent(TargetAdded), which would usually return
 the parent-process placeholder.

 Fix this by declaring the cross-origin iframe statically in the page
 instead, which should already be committed when the test runs.

2. We were comparing frame IDs that use two different string formats.
 we asserted iframe attribution by string-comparing resource.parentFrame.id
 against frameTarget.identifier. Those encode the same (frameID,
 processID) pair in different formats -- the Network protocol uses
 "frame-<process>.<frame>" (InspectorIdentifierRegistry::protocolFrameId)
 while target identifiers use "frame-<frame>-<process>" (FrameInspectorTarget::toTargetID)
 so they never match.

 Replace the comparison with a semantic check that the resource's
 parent frame is a direct child of the main frame.

3. The abort case asserted the wrong thing and couldn't test the fail
 path. It expected an aborted fetch to fire loadingFailed, but
 aborting a fetch is reported as a finished load (I verified this
 against the page target, which behaved the same with SI off,
 because canceling a fetch doesn't cancel the underlying loader).

 Fix this by triggering a genuine network-level failure (a fetch to a
 dead port), which goes through SubresourceLoader::didFail and
 exercises loadingFailed routing through ProxyingNetworkAgent, the
 fail path the original test was reaching for.

Filed bug 318836 as a follow-up to potentially add more test cases.

* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/debugger/resources/site-isolation-debugger-test-utilities.js:
(TestPage.registerInitializer.window.frameTargetForURLContaining.async frameTargetForURLContaining):
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/cross-origin-iframe-network-events-have-correct-frame-id-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/cross-origin-iframe-network-events-have-correct-frame-id.html:
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/cross-origin-iframe-network-loading-finished-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/cross-origin-iframe-network-loading-finished.html:
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/cross-origin-iframe-resource-appears-in-network-domain-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/cross-origin-iframe-resource-appears-in-network-domain.html:
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/resources/iframe-with-abort.html: Removed.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/resources/iframe-with-failed-fetch.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/resources/slow-response.py: Removed.
* LayoutTests/platform/mac-wk2/TestExpectations:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316759@main",
