https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=309222

Reviewed by BJ Burg.

Under Site Isolation the inspected page's process no longer hosts
every frame's CachedResourceLoader, and the per-WebProcess
BackendResourceDataStore (the Site Isolation analog of
NetworkResourcesData) lives in each WebContent process. As a result
ProxyingPageAgent::searchInResource and
ProxyingPageAgent::searchInResources were stubs that returned empty
arrays, so global search and single-resource search found nothing for
any frame.

This implements both commands by fanning out to the WebContent
processes that host the page's frames and aggregating the results in
the UIProcess, mirroring the patterns already established by
getResourceTree (cross-process resource aggregation) and
getResponseBody (requestId routing):

  - searchInResources groups every WebFrameProxy by its hosting
    process and asks each process to search its frames' cached
    resources together with its BackendResourceDataStore (XHR/Fetch)
    in one round trip, then aggregates with a CallbackAggregator. This
    consolidates the legacy Page->Network searchOtherRequests
    cross-agent call, since both data sources live in the same
    WebProcess under Site Isolation. Results are de-duplicated by URL
    so a resource that is both a CachedResource and a buffered network
    entry is reported once. This is a deliberate change from the
    legacy path, which double-counts such a resource -- once in
    InspectorPageAgent's own frame walk and again in
    searchOtherRequests, which reaches it through the entry's retained
    CachedResource. Reporting it once is the intended behavior under
    Site Isolation.

  - searchInResource routes to a single process: the requestId branch
    parses the process-qualified protocol requestId to reach the
    owning process's data store, and the frame+URL branch parses the
    process-qualified protocol frameId to reach the frame's hosting
    process.

Both commands become asynchronous (matching getResourceTree); the
legacy WebCore InspectorPageAgent implementations adopt the
async-callback form and answer synchronously. Results travel over
typed IPC via Inspector::SearchMatch and Inspector::SearchResult,
mirrors of the protocol types. BackendResourceDataStore entries now
carry a FrameIdentifier so XHR/Fetch search hits can be attributed to
the frame that originated them. Finally, the two protocol commands are
made available on the "web-page" target (the multiplexing backend
target the Site Isolation frontend talks to), not just the legacy
"page" target.

Tests: http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/search-in-resource-by-request-id-cross-origin-iframe.html
       http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/search-in-resource-cross-origin-iframe.html
       http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/search-in-resources-cross-origin-iframe.html

* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/resources/fetch-body-with-json-string.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/resources/iframe-with-text-fetch.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/search-in-resource-by-request-id-cross-origin-iframe-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/search-in-resource-by-request-id-cross-origin-iframe.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/search-in-resource-cross-origin-iframe-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/search-in-resource-cross-origin-iframe.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/search-in-resources-cross-origin-iframe-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/search-in-resources-cross-origin-iframe.html: Added.
* Source/JavaScriptCore/inspector/protocol/Page.json:
* Source/WebCore/inspector/InspectorIdentifierRegistry.h:
(Inspector::IdentifierRegistry::parseProtocolFrameId):
* Source/WebCore/inspector/InspectorResourceUtilities.h:
* Source/WebCore/inspector/agents/InspectorPageAgent.cpp:
(WebCore::InspectorPageAgent::searchInResource):
(WebCore::InspectorPageAgent::searchInResources):
* Source/WebCore/inspector/agents/InspectorPageAgent.h:
* Source/WebKit/Scripts/webkit/messages.py:
(types_that_cannot_be_forward_declared):
(headers_for_type):
* Source/WebKit/Shared/InspectorPageTypes.serialization.in:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingPageAgent.cpp:
(Inspector::ProxyingPageAgent::searchInResource):
(Inspector::ProxyingPageAgent::searchInResources):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingPageAgent.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/BackendResourceDataStore.cpp:
(WebKit::BackendResourceDataStore::resourceCreated):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/BackendResourceDataStore.h:
(WebKit::BackendResourceDataStore::ResourceData::frameID const):
(WebKit::BackendResourceDataStore::ResourceData::setFrameID):
(WebKit::BackendResourceDataStore::forEach const):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/FrameNetworkAgentProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::FrameNetworkAgentProxy::willSendRequest):
(WebKit::FrameNetworkAgentProxy::willSendRequestOfType):
(WebKit::FrameNetworkAgentProxy::didLoadResourceFromMemoryCache):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackend.cpp:
(WebKit::convertSearchMatches):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::searchInRequest):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::searchInFrameResource):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::searchInFramesAndRequests):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackend.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackend.messages.in:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316766@main",

When crossing
frame boundaries, it checks whether the current frame is same-origin to the
target element, for applying scroll margin:

    RefPtr rendererOrFrameSecurityOrigin = WTF::visit(WTF::makeVisitor(
        [&] (const RenderElement* renderer) { return Ref<const Frame>(renderer->frame())->frameDocumentSecurityOrigin(); },
        [&] (const Frame* frame) { return frame->frameDocumentSecurityOrigin(); }
    ), rendererOrFrame);

    bool isSameOriginDomain = [&] () {
        if (rendererOrFrameSecurityOrigin)
            return rendererOrFrameSecurityOrigin->isSameOriginDomain(targetSecurityOrigin);

         return false;
     }();
     if (!isSameOriginDomain)
         scrollMargin.reset();

If the parent frame's owner renderer is available, then
computeClippedRectInRootContentsSpace is called with that owner renderer.
Then renderer->frame() is the parent frame, and rendererOrFrameSecurityOrigin
is the parent frame's security origin.

If the parent frame's owner renderer is not available (when Site Isolation
is enabled and the parent frame is in another process), then
computeClippedRectInRootContentsSpace is called with the Frame object of
the current frame instead. The intention is to use this as the proxy to
the frame's owner renderer. But in this case, rendererOrFrameSecurityOrigin
would be the frame's security origin, instead of the parent frame's.

As an example, in an page with nested iframes that look like this: (cross
and same-origin are relative to main frame):

(1) main <- (2) cross-origin <- (3) same-origin <- (4) target element

First computeClippedRectInRootContentsSpace is called on (4), then it's
called on the (3)'s Frame object (because (3)'s owner renderer is in (2),
which is cross-origin and out of process). We cross a cross-origin frame
boundary, so we should not apply and propagate scroll margin. But because
the object being passed to computeClippedRectInRootContentsSpace is (3)'s
Frame object, rendererOrFrameSecurityOrigin is the security origin of (3),
which is also the security origin of (4), as (4) is in (3)

Fix this by getting the security origin from enclosingFrame instead, which is
guaranteed to be the parent frame (aka the frame enclosing rendererOrFrame)

* LayoutTests/platform/ios-site-isolation/TestExpectations:
* LayoutTests/platform/mac-site-isolation/TestExpectations:
* Source/WebCore/page/IntersectionObserver.cpp:
(WebCore::computeClippedRectInRootContentsSpace):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316774@main",

A resource served from WebCore's in-memory cache does not
go through the willSendRequest/didReceiveResponse/didFinishLoading
sequence; instead FrameNetworkAgentProxy::didLoadResourceFromMemoryCache
fires once. That path previously synthesized requestWillBeSent +
responseReceived and forwarded no sourceMappingURL, so source maps for
stylesheets served from the memory cache did not auto-link in the
Network tab (they linked on the cold load but stopped once cached).

Finish the memory-cache path so it mirrors the legacy Network agent
instead of the synthesized requestWillBeSent + responseReceived it
emitted before. didLoadResourceFromMemoryCache has the CachedResource
in hand, so the CSS sourceMappingURL is resolved there (CSS-only by
design; scripts flow through the Debugger domain) and threaded through
to ProxyingNetworkAgent, which now dispatches the real
Network.requestServedFromMemoryCache event. The frontend already
consumes that event's sourceMapURL, so no frontend changes are needed;
emitting the real event (rather than the synthesized pair) also gives
memory-cached cross-origin iframe resources a proper finished state and
MemoryCache response-source classification under SI.

Test: http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/cross-origin-iframe-network-memory-cache-source-map-url.html

* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/cross-origin-iframe-network-memory-cache-source-map-url-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/cross-origin-iframe-network-memory-cache-source-map-url.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/resources/stylesheet-with-source-map-header-cacheable.py: Added.
* Source/WebCore/inspector/InspectorResourceUtilities.h:
* Source/WebCore/loader/cache/CachedResource.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingNetworkAgent.cpp:
(Inspector::ProxyingNetworkAgent::requestServedFromMemoryCache):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingNetworkAgent.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingNetworkAgent.messages.in:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/FrameNetworkAgentProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::FrameNetworkAgentProxy::didLoadResourceFromMemoryCache):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316778@main",

Move all the headers
into the framework bundle, too, giving it proper structure that's
comparable to how our frameworks appear in the SDK.

This is a prerequisite for getting modules working without symlink
hacks, and works towards an internal SDK build.

In the WebKitFS module, add a second kind of path variable.
The existing *_FRAMEWORK_HEADERS_DIR variable is the directory that a
compiler must search to be able to import framework headers. A new
*_HEADER_DIR variable is the directory that actually contains the
headers. On Mac and iOS, the latter variable points inside the
respective framework bundle. So we end up with assignments like this:

    # Linux, Windows ports
    set(WebKit_FRAMEWORK_HEADERS_DIR "${CMAKE_BINARY_DIR}/WebKit/Headers")
    set(WebKit_HEADERS_DIR "${CMAKE_BINARY_DIR}/WebKit/Headers/WebKit")

    # Mac
    set(WebKit_FRAMEWORK_HEADERS_DIR "${CMAKE_BINARY_DIR}/WebKit/Headers")
    set(WebKit_HEADERS_DIR "${CMAKE_BINARY_DIR}/WebKit.framework/Versions/A/Headers")

    # iOS, other embedded Apple platforms
    set(WebKit_FRAMEWORK_HEADERS_DIR "${CMAKE_BINARY_DIR}/WebKit/Headers")
    set(WebKit_HEADERS_DIR "${CMAKE_BINARY_DIR}/WebKit.framework/Headers")

Adopt those variables across the codebase.

In the WEBKIT_FRAMEWORK macro library, add some initialization logic
that creates the framework bundle structure at configure time, for
targets that build as SHARED libraries. (All of the 1st-party libraries
that build SHARED are frameworks.) Have each of them emit a `-F` flag to
populate the framework search path. These will be coalesced into one
compiler argument for ~all compilation.

* Source/JavaScriptCore/CMakeLists.txt:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/PlatformIOS.cmake:
* Source/ThirdParty/ANGLE/CMakeLists.txt:
* Source/ThirdParty/ANGLE/include/CMakeLists.txt:
* Source/WTF/wtf/CMakeLists.txt:
* Source/WebCore/CMakeLists.txt:
* Source/WebCore/PAL/pal/CMakeLists.txt:
* Source/WebCore/PlatformCocoa.cmake:
* Source/WebKit/CMakeLists.txt:
* Source/WebKitLegacy/CMakeLists.txt:
* Source/bmalloc/CMakeLists.txt:
* Source/cmake/WebKitFS.cmake:
* Source/cmake/WebKitMacros.cmake:
* Tools/MiniBrowser/mac/CMakeLists.txt:
* Tools/TestWebKitAPI/PlatformMac.cmake:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316781@main",

We stop using Vector<> in Air::Inst. And managing inline buffer and
   allocated buffer inside Air::Inst. We stop modifying the underlying
   Vector directly, and instead, Air::Inst shows setArgs interface,
   which can be used to set arguments.
2. Air::Inst exposes args as std::span instead of Vector.

Doing so reduces the sizeof(Air::Inst). This is critical since Air's
time consumption is basically coming from iterating Air::Inst instances.
Smaller and dense representation makes it cheaper.

Tests:
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=316798

Reviewed by BJ Burg.

To improve traceability, this commit adds RELEASE_LOG statements
covering the following areas of Source/WebDriver:

- Browser startup and lifetime (for glib ports)
- HTTP request and response
- Driver->Browser Automation.json commands and replies.

The added log statements cover mainly data like the request path, body
size, response status, and duration. The actual body with payload like
field values or JS code to be executed is omitted. For deeper
inspection, the existing LOG() statements that inspect the actual
payload are kept.

We opted for RELEASE_LOG instead of LOG due to the WebDriver-related
channels being low-volume in comparison to hotter ones internal to the
browser. On top of that, it should be easier for reporters to provide
release logs, helping get more useful bug reports.

Example output:

Started WebSocket BiDi server with host local and port 60782
Started HTTP server with host local and port 60781
HTTP request POST /session (body=303 bytes)
Spawning local browser: /sdk/webkit/WebKitBuild/WPE/Release/bin/MiniBrowser with 2 argument(s)
Connecting to RemoteInspector at 127.0.0.1:54821
Connected to RemoteInspector at 127.0.0.1:54821 after 1 attempt(s)
    SEND inspector #0001: Automation.createBrowsingContext (52 bytes)
    RECV inspector #0001: ok
HTTP response 200 in 196ms
HTTP request POST /session/fbc9c527-945d-4030-852e-50c5f1852557/url (body=43 bytes)
    SEND inspector #0002: Automation.resolveBrowsingContext (149 bytes)
    RECV inspector #0002: ok
    SEND inspector #0003: Automation.waitForNavigationToComplete (207 bytes)
    RECV inspector #0003: ok
    SEND inspector #0004: Automation.isShowingJavaScriptDialog (135 bytes)
    RECV inspector #0004: ok
    SEND inspector #0005: Automation.navigateBrowsingContext (212 bytes)
    RECV inspector #0005: ok
HTTP response 200 in 124ms

* Source/WebDriver/SessionHost.cpp:
(WebDriver::SessionHost::inspectorDisconnected):
(WebDriver::SessionHost::sendCommandToBackend):
(WebDriver::SessionHost::dispatchMessage):
* Source/WebDriver/WebDriverService.cpp:
(WebDriver::printUsageStatement):
(WebDriver::WebDriverService::run):
(WebDriver::WebDriverService::handleRequest):
* Source/WebDriver/glib/SessionHostGlib.cpp:
(WebDriver::SessionHost::launchBrowser):
(WebDriver::SessionHost::connectToBrowser):
(WebDriver::SessionHost::connectionDidClose):
(WebDriver::SessionHost::setTargetList):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316784@main",

Emitting a
Swift module that imports a `GenericTimeMixin`-derived time class
therefore still fails with "cannot convert ... to 'bool' without a
conversion operator".

Declare a genuine `operator bool` on each derived time class.
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318493

Reviewed by BJ Burg.

Under Site Isolation the per-WebProcess WebCore inspector agents
(InspectorNetworkAgent / PageNetworkAgent) early-return from enable(), so
they no longer hold or apply the Network domain's extra request headers or
the resource-caching-disabled flag. The UIProcess ProxyingNetworkAgent, the
only Network agent active under Site Isolation, stubbed setExtraHTTPHeaders,
setResourceCachingDisabled, and setEmulatedConditions. This re-hosts that
state in the Site Isolation classes.

setEmulatedConditions is applied session-wide at the NetworkSession level,
which is shared by every WebContent process of the page, so
ProxyingNetworkAgent (UIProcess) drives WebsiteDataStore directly with no
IPC, mirroring the legacy WebInspectorUIProxy::setEmulatedConditions hop.

setExtraHTTPHeaders and setResourceCachingDisabled need the WebProcess, so
each is a latch-and-fan-out on the UIProcess side: ProxyingNetworkAgent
stores the value and sends it to every WebContent process, and re-sends it
in enableInstrumentationForProcess() so processes that join later (process
swaps, new cross-origin iframes) pick up the current value. In the
WebProcess, WebInspectorBackend latches the value; the extra headers are
applied to the mutable outgoing request in
FrameNetworkAgentProxy::willSendRequest and willSendRequestOfType (each
proxy holds a reference to the shared map), and the caching flag is applied
to the process's Page.

On disable the latched state is reset in both processes, mirroring
InspectorNetworkAgent::disable(): ProxyingNetworkAgent outlives frontend
disconnect/reconnect so it must not leak stale headers into a later
frontend, and WebInspectorBackend must clear the Page's
resource-caching-disabled flag so it does not persist with no inspector
attached.

setExtraHTTPHeaders and setEmulatedConditions were gated to the "page"
target only, so they were not exposed on the "web-page" multiplexing target
where ProxyingNetworkAgent lives; both now also list "web-page".
setResourceCachingDisabled was already ungated.

setEmulatedConditions cannot be layout-tested because
ENABLE_INSPECTOR_NETWORK_THROTTLING is disabled by default. Its test
case is guarded on InspectorBackend.hasCommand() so it self-enables
once network throttling ships.

Tests: http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/set-emulated-conditions-and-resource-caching-disabled.html
       http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/set-extra-http-headers.html

* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/resources/cacheable-resource.py: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/set-emulated-conditions-and-resource-caching-disabled-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/set-emulated-conditions-and-resource-caching-disabled.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/set-extra-http-headers-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/network/set-extra-http-headers.html: Added.
* Source/JavaScriptCore/inspector/protocol/Network.json:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingNetworkAgent.cpp:
(Inspector::ProxyingNetworkAgent::enableInstrumentationForProcess):
(Inspector::ProxyingNetworkAgent::disable):
(Inspector::ProxyingNetworkAgent::setExtraHTTPHeaders):
(Inspector::ProxyingNetworkAgent::setResourceCachingDisabled):
(Inspector::ProxyingNetworkAgent::setEmulatedConditions):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingNetworkAgent.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/FrameNetworkAgentProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::FrameNetworkAgentProxy::FrameNetworkAgentProxy):
(WebKit::FrameNetworkAgentProxy::willSendRequest):
(WebKit::FrameNetworkAgentProxy::willSendRequestOfType):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/FrameNetworkAgentProxy.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackend.cpp:
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::ensureNetworkInstrumentationForFrame):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::disableNetworkInstrumentation):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::setExtraHTTPHeaders):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::setResourceCachingDisabled):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackend.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackend.messages.in:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316819@main",

This happens sometimes when running
whatever test WebKitTestRunner runs after fast/css/fullscreen-style-sharing-crash.html, causing the next test
to crash.

The fix is to only make a CheckedPtr synchronously immediately before it is going to be used, and destroy
the CheckedPtr immediately synchronously after it is done being used to not give any other async task a chance
to destroy the client with an outstanding CheckedPtr pointing to it. Rather than setting client to nullptr,
I use an additional scope to make it more clear that the scope of the CheckedPtr is important and to make it
harder for future changes to re-introduce code paths that don't null out the CheckedPtr.

WebFullScreenManagerProxy::enterFullScreen had the same issue before 316670@main, so the test run after
fast/css/fullscreen-style-sharing-crash.html was already a flaky crash. The legacy WebKit-only `results=N` attribute opts the input
into ::-webkit-search-results-button, which caused WebKit to paint a search icon.

The fix is to match Chrome and Firefox behavior by removing the `results=N` feature
when WebKit is used for web browsing. We retain it for backwards compatibility with
apps that may depend on it.

We gate the deprecation on a Linked-On-Or-After check so we avoid changing behavior
unexpectedly. Developers can re-enable the feature using the new feature flag.

I have also rebaselined the tests that were not specifically testing this deprecated
feature, but had layout impact now that the deprecated decoration is no longer automatically
added to search fields.

Test: fast/forms/search/search-results-attribute-disabled-by-default.html

* This is particularly useful on low-end embedded devices with a limited
number of hardware decoders, where keeping a suspended media pipeline alive in
the cache may prevent other pages from acquiring the decoder.

The feature is enabled by default (preserving existing behavior).

Two new WPE layout tests verify the behavior:
- page-cache-video-media-disabled.html: verifies pages with media are not
  cached when the feature is disabled.
- page-cache-video-media-enabled.html: verifies pages with media can enter
  and be restored from the back/forward cache when the feature is enabled.

Tests: platform/wpe/fast/history/page-cache-video-media-disabled.html
       platform/wpe/fast/history/page-cache-video-media-enabled.html
* LayoutTests/platform/wpe/fast/history/page-cache-video-media-disabled-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/wpe/fast/history/page-cache-video-media-disabled.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/wpe/fast/history/page-cache-video-media-enabled-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/wpe/fast/history/page-cache-video-media-enabled.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/platform/wpe/fast/history/resources/page-cache-helper.html: Added.
* Source/WTF/Scripts/Preferences/UnifiedWebPreferences.yaml:
* Source/WebCore/history/BackForwardCache.cpp:
(WebCore::canCachePage):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316840@main",

Pass a WebCore::TestPageOptions to
override these settings.

Call loadHTML() again on an existing harness to load new content into
the same Page/Frame/Settings.

You can test behavior across multiple loads without paying for a new
Page each time.

Now, components/classes/functions that need a document, page, or
frame can effectively be unit tested.

This pattern should be used in place of exposing internal structures
via Internals.idl. This flag does that.

So far, I think we have gotten by via letting the type information come
through _other_ modules (such as WebKit_Internal), but once we start
putting modulemaps into framework bundles in the build directory, this
fails. And like all things clang modules, the build failure is
intermittent because clang doesn't know to re-scan a framework bundle
for an added modulemap.

Fixes an intermittent error where WebKit swift code cannot find
WKWebView.

Also , fix a build-time race condition by copying WebKit's Modules/
content (modulemaps and crossimport metadata) *before* WebKit starts
compiling, same as headers.

* Source/WebKit/PlatformMac.cmake:
* Source/cmake/WebKitMacros.cmake:
* Source/cmake/WebKitSwiftPrewarm.cmake:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/316852@main",

[commit 316847@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316847@main)
- **Web Platform** CSS `if()` arbitrary substitution is enabled by default, opening up more expressive conditional value composition in stylesheets. [commit 316813@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316813@main)
- **Rendering** Threaded time-based animations are enabled by default again, a meaningful rendering pipeline shift with direct impact on animation smoothness and scheduling. [commit 316797@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316797@main)
- **Web Platform** IndexedDB `getAllRecords()` and `getAllOptions` support is now enabled in Stable, making more of the newer IDB retrieval surface available by default. [commit 316779@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316779@main)
- **Perf** JavaScriptCore speeds up numeric literal parsing by adding a dedicated `TokNumberInt32` token path to avoid extra number conversion work. [commit 316806@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316806@main)
- **Perf** JavaScriptCore makes `Array#join` write rope elements directly into the result buffer, cutting avoidable string assembly overhead. [commit 316791@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316791@main)
- **UI** XML documents now respect dark mode, fixing a long-standing mismatch in built-in document presentation. [commit 316832@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316832@main)
- **Perf** WPE avoids putting multimedia pages into BFCache on low-end devices, trading cache hits for better memory and playback stability where resources are tight. [commit 316840@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316840@main)
- **Build** Apple platform builds pick up `-import-underlying-module` for Swift, another step toward cleaner Swift and C++ interop in WebKit's build system. [commit 316852@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316852@main)

## What landed by area

### CSS and rendering
- **Rendering** Flexbox layout cleanup continues with main-axis alignment split out from flex line sizing, making the algorithm easier to reason about and evolve. [commit 316839@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316839@main)
- **Rendering** Another flexbox pass now computes all flex line cross sizes before item placement. [commit 316818@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316818@main)
- **Rendering** Flex layout now measures each line's cross size before placing its items. [commit 316807@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316807@main)
- **Rendering** Flex layout also lays out all flex items before placement, continuing the broader algorithm untangling. [commit 316803@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316803@main)
- **Rendering** Yet another flexbox cleanup resolves every flex line's main sizes before laying out the lines. [commit 316767@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316767@main)
- **Rendering** Grid fragmentation avoids running GFC when a grid item has a child with aspect ratio, preventing bad layout interactions. [commit 316825@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316825@main)
- **Web Platform** Animation triggers gain parsing support for `timeline-trigger-name` and `timeline-trigger-source` coordinated value list properties. [commit 316830@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316830@main)
- **Web Platform** `@font-face` metric override descriptors are now parsed behind a flag, plumbing in more font metric control without exposing it by default yet. [commit 316829@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316829@main)
- **Web Platform** `block-ellipsis: no-ellipsis` support lands, filling out another corner of CSS overflow behavior. [commit 316811@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316811@main)
- **Rendering** Corner shaping work adds scoop and round corner shapes in `CornerShapeUtilities`. [commit 316816@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316816@main)
- **Rendering** Corner shaping also gets scoop tests to lock behavior down. [commit 316815@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316815@main)
- **Rendering** Corner shaping groundwork adds `BezierUtilities` stubs for later geometry work. [commit 316814@main](https://commits.webkit.org/316814@main)
- **Rendering** Corner shaping updates `bevelAxisAlignedCorners` to use `dotProduct`, a small but concrete geometry cleanup.
