This
is enabled by the recently subclassable C++ WritableStreamDefaultWriter; a small type
discriminator is added there so bindings can dispatch to the WebTransportWriter wrapper.

This clears the final 9 idlharness FAILs, so the four
imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webtransport/idlharness.https.sub.any variants are
un-skipped and now pass.

* LayoutTests/TestExpectations: Un-skip the four webtransport idlharness variants.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webtransport/idlharness.https.sub.any-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webtransport/idlharness.https.sub.any.serviceworker-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webtransport/idlharness.https.sub.any.sharedworker-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webtransport/idlharness.https.sub.any.worker-expected.txt:
* Source/WebCore/CMakeLists.txt:
* Source/WebCore/DerivedSources-input.xcfilelist:
* Source/WebCore/DerivedSources-output.xcfilelist:
* Source/WebCore/DerivedSources.make:
* Source/WebCore/Modules/streams/WritableStreamDefaultWriter.h:
(WebCore::WritableStreamDefaultWriter::type const):
* Source/WebCore/Modules/webtransport/WebTransportSendStream.cpp:
(WebCore::WebTransportSendStream::getWriter):
* Source/WebCore/Modules/webtransport/WebTransportSendStream.h:
* Source/WebCore/Modules/webtransport/WebTransportSendStream.idl:
* Source/WebCore/Modules/webtransport/WebTransportWriter.cpp: Added.
(WebCore::WebTransportWriter::create):
(WebCore::WebTransportWriter::WebTransportWriter):
(WebCore::WebTransportWriter::atomicWrite):
(WebCore::WebTransportWriter::commit):
* Source/WebCore/Modules/webtransport/WebTransportWriter.h: Added.
* Source/WebCore/Modules/webtransport/WebTransportWriter.idl: Added.
* Source/WebCore/Sources.txt:
* Source/WebCore/WebCore.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj:
* Source/WebCore/bindings/js/WebCoreBuiltinNames.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317810@main",

When the block then turns
out to be a region or style block, m_previousLine was left untouched, so the
stray line survived across the block and was later applied as the identifier
of the next cue that had no identifier of its own.

Per the "collect a WebVTT block" algorithm [1], a REGION/STYLE block is only
recognized when it is the first line of the block; a line preceding it makes
the whole block a no-op, and the following cue's identifier is the (empty)
buffer. Clear m_previousLine when a region or style block is started so the
buffered line is not carried over.

This matches Firefox on both cases and Chrome on the region case (Chrome has
a separate bug in the style case).

[1] https://w3c.github.io/webvtt/#collect-a-webvtt-block

Tests: imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/parsing/file-parsing/tests/ids-across-region-block.html
imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/parsing/file-parsing/tests/ids-across-style-block.html

* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/parsing/file-parsing/support/ids-across-region-block.test: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/parsing/file-parsing/support/ids-across-style-block.test: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/parsing/file-parsing/tests/ids-across-region-block-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/parsing/file-parsing/tests/ids-across-region-block.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/parsing/file-parsing/tests/ids-across-style-block-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/parsing/file-parsing/tests/ids-across-style-block.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/parsing/file-parsing/tests/support/ids-across-region-block.vtt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/webvtt/parsing/file-parsing/tests/support/ids-across-style-block.vtt: Added.
* Source/WebCore/html/track/WebVTTParser.cpp:
(WebCore::WebVTTParser::collectWebVTTBlock):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317811@main",

The request
URL's host is attacker-controlled (a DNS-rebinding server can point a
public-looking hostname at 127.0.0.1), so any local-network access policy
decision needs to be based on what actually got connected to. Both the
final response (didReceiveResponse) and each redirect hop
(willPerformHTTPRedirection) are classified, since a redirect is a
separate connection that could target a local/loopback address on its own.

When the connection address cannot be classified (no resolved address, or
one that is neither IPv4 nor IPv6) the space is left as
IPAddressSpace::Unknown, which ranks as the least public space so the local
network access check fails closed instead of defaulting to Public. For an empty non-text *leaf* (e.g. an icon button with no
text of its own), that walk escapes the element's own subtree and lands on unrelated
downstream text. When that text is inside an editable, applying the resulting position
as the selection moves DOM focus into the editable.

Concretely: with "Synchronize keyboard focus and VoiceOver cursor" enabled, moving the
VoiceOver cursor onto a hover-only button (e.g. Slack's "More actions") jumped the cursor
and focus into the message composer, because the button's marker was walked forward to
the composer's text on set.

Fix convertToDomOffset() to keep the marker anchored at the object itself when the
normalized text run lies outside the object's own subtree — i.e. when the object has no
text of its own. RenderFlexibleBox signalled "reset now" with a dedicated scoped
flag: m_shouldResetFlexItemLogicalHeightBeforeLayout, set via
scopedResetFlexItemLogicalHeightBeforeLayout() around the stretch relayout and read
back through shouldResetFlexItemLogicalHeightBeforeLayout().

That flag is redundant now that RenderFlexibleBox tracks a FlexLayoutState phase: the
stretch relayout runs during the CrossAxisItemSizing phase, which the container
already exposes as isInCrossAxisStretchLayout(). So drop the flag and have
RenderBox::shouldResetLogicalHeightBeforeLayout() consult the container's phase
directly. The reset still happens inside the item's own layout (keeping 204380's
minimal repaint); only the signal changes from a bespoke bool to the phase we already
maintain.

The phase spans the whole cross-axis item-sizing step, slightly broader than the flag
(which was scoped to the block-axis stretch relayout), so a few additional cross-axis
relayouts now reset the height too -- harmless: those relayouts recompute the height
regardless, and the reset stays within the item's LayoutRepainter scope, so repaint is
unchanged (fast/repaint/align-items-change.html).

Also rename stretchFlexItemLogicalHeight to applyStretchedLogicalHeightToFlexItem: it
applies an already-resolved height (the caller's min/max-clamped stretch target) as an
overriding border-box height and relays the item out if needed; it does not stretch.

* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/flex/FlexFormattingContext.cpp:
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::applyStretchAlignmentToFlexItem):
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderBox.cpp:
(WebCore::RenderBox::shouldResetLogicalHeightBeforeLayout const):
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderFlexibleBox.cpp:
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::applyStretchedLogicalHeightToFlexItem):
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::stretchFlexItemLogicalHeight): Deleted.
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderFlexibleBox.h:
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::shouldResetFlexItemLogicalHeightBeforeLayout const): Deleted.
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::scopedResetFlexItemLogicalHeightBeforeLayout): Deleted.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317825@main",

However, stopListeningForIPC() runs on the main
thread, while the LogStream's StreamServerConnection is opened on (and thus
bound to) the shared "Log work queue". IPC::Connection::invalidate() asserts
it is called on its own dispatcher (a release
ASSERT_WITH_SECURITY_IMPLICATION via assertIsCurrent(dispatcher())), so
invalidating from the main thread crashed on ASAN/debug builds during
WebProcessProxy::shutDown() -> stopLogStream().

Fix stopListeningForIPC() to dispatch the connection teardown
(stopReceivingMessages() + invalidate()) onto the log work queue so it runs
on the connection's own dispatcher. Unlike single-owner
StreamServerConnection users (e.g. RemoteRenderingBackend), we cannot call
StreamConnectionWorkQueue::stopAndWaitForCompletion() because the queue is
shared by every LogStream; we only invalidate our own connection.

The dispatched lambda captures a Ref to both the LogStream and its
connection. The connection Ref keeps the connection alive; the LogStream Ref
is required because StreamServerConnection::invalidate() clears its
CheckedPtr back to the client (m_client = nullptr), and the LogStream is
otherwise destroyed synchronously when ScopedActiveMessageReceiveQueue drops
its reference as soon as stopListeningForIPC() returns. LogStream is
ThreadSafeRefCounted with DestructionThread::Any, so destroying it (and its
WeakPtr<WebProcessProxy> member) off the main thread is safe.

Also hoist the log work queue from a static local in LogStream::create() to a
file-static logWorkQueue() accessor so stopListeningForIPC() can reach the
same queue.

* Source/WebKit/Shared/LogStream.mm:
(WebKit::logWorkQueue):
(WebKit::LogStream::stopListeningForIPC):
(WebKit::LogStream::create):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317826@main",

Ends the BM window at a character class that can match a non-BMP
     code point (an inverted class, or one with non-BMP members), since
     such a class consumes one or two code units and makes the offsets
     of subsequent terms non-fixed (e.g. /(.A)\\1/u would otherwise miss
     a match).

                                          TipOfTree                  Patched

regexp-unicode-bm-search              175.9850+-4.8277     ^     16.2982+-0.8780        ^ definitely 10.7978x faster
regexp-unicode-bm-search-nomatch      168.9133+-1.4194     ^     18.4031+-1.5015        ^ definitely 9.1785x faster
regexp-unicode-bm-search-emoji         77.8834+-1.1231     ^      7.7590+-0.1699        ^ definitely 10.0378x faster

Tests: JSTests/microbenchmarks/regexp-unicode-bm-search-emoji.js
       JSTests/microbenchmarks/regexp-unicode-bm-search-nomatch.js
       JSTests/microbenchmarks/regexp-unicode-bm-search.js
       JSTests/stress/regexp-unicode-bm-search.js

* JSTests/microbenchmarks/regexp-unicode-bm-search-emoji.js: Added.
* JSTests/microbenchmarks/regexp-unicode-bm-search-nomatch.js: Added.
* JSTests/microbenchmarks/regexp-unicode-bm-search.js: Added.
* JSTests/stress/regexp-unicode-bm-search.js: Added.
(shouldBe):
(throw.new.Error):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/yarr/YarrJIT.cpp:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317830@main",

RenderFlexibleBox held the two
members but never read them; it only reset them and let the integration layer reach
across (flexBox().m_numberOfFlexItemsOn...) to write and read them.

Move them onto LayoutIntegration::FlexLayout, which is a persistent member of
RenderFlexibleBox (so it outlives the stack-scoped FlexFormattingContext and is still
around for the parent's post-layout baseline queries) and is where the baseline logic
that uses them already lives. The integration layer now writes and reads its own
members, and resets them at the top of FlexLayout::layout() -- covering the
empty-container early return that RenderFlexibleBox::layoutBlock's reset used to
handle. RenderFlexibleBox loses both members and the reset; firstLineBaseline() /
lastLineBaseline() already just forward to m_flexLayout.

* Source/WebCore/layout/integration/flex/LayoutIntegrationFlexLayout.cpp:
(WebCore::LayoutIntegration::FlexLayout::layout):
(WebCore::LayoutIntegration::FlexLayout::firstLineBaseline const):
(WebCore::LayoutIntegration::FlexLayout::lastLineBaseline const):
(WebCore::LayoutIntegration::FlexLayout::flexItemForFirstBaseline const):
(WebCore::LayoutIntegration::FlexLayout::flexItemForLastBaseline const):
* Source/WebCore/layout/integration/flex/LayoutIntegrationFlexLayout.h:
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderFlexibleBox.cpp:
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::layoutBlock):
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderFlexibleBox.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317833@main",

Since the Touch branch only emits LiftUp
when pressedMouseButton goes from set to unset, no LiftUp is emitted
for the pointerUp action itself; the touch stays held until the next
command (or the Release Actions reset keyframe) lifts it late and at
the wrong coordinate.

Port 283790@main's approach to the Touch branch, mirroring the
Mouse/Pen branch exactly: dispatch off b.mouseInteraction with no
pressedMouseButton-delta fallback. This makes the Up keyframe's
resolveLocation(origin=Pointer, location=(0,0)) resolve to the down
coordinate, so LiftUp now fires in place during the pointerUp action's
own keyframe transition.

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Automation/SimulatedInputDispatcher.cpp:
(WebKit::touchInteractionForMouseInteraction):
(WebKit::SimulatedInputDispatcher::transitionInputSourceToState):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317834@main",

On the
other hand, boyermoore lookahead's purpose is finding the false-positive
matching index. We run FirstCharacterBitmapBuilder to collect BitSet for
latin-1 range which quickly answers rejection to avoid actual costly
matching operations. Currently we are only accepting latin-1 (8-bit),
but we should extend it for 16-bit cases as well.

When sticky bit is used, RegExp will work as if it is having BOL
assertion with the current lastIndex offset of a subject. So we do not
need to check BOL, and instead, we need to extract a character from
lastIndex place. Otherwise, we can just extract a character from index 0
and do this filtering only when the pattern is having
one-character-size-prefix and the subject is 8-bit. We do not do this
filtering for global bit case as it is extracting a character from lastIndex.

Tests: JSTests/stress/regexp-exec-anchored-first-char-filter.js
       JSTests/stress/regexp-exec-sticky-first-char-filter.js
       JSTests/stress/regexp-test-anchored-first-char-filter.js

* JSTests/stress/regexp-exec-anchored-first-char-filter.js: Added.
(shouldBe):
(execStr):
(step):
* JSTests/stress/regexp-exec-sticky-first-char-filter.js: Added.
(shouldBe):
(shouldThrow):
(step):
* JSTests/stress/regexp-test-anchored-first-char-filter.js: Added.
(shouldBe):
(step):
(check):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/dfg/DFGCommonData.h:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/dfg/DFGSpeculativeJIT.cpp:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/dfg/DFGSpeculativeJIT.h:
* Source/JavaScriptCore/dfg/DFGSpeculativeJIT64.cpp:
(JSC::DFG::SpeculativeJIT::emitFirstCharacterBitmapMatch):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/ftl/FTLLowerDFGToB3.cpp:
(JSC::FTL::DFG::LowerDFGToB3::compileCompareStrictEq):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/yarr/YarrPattern.cpp:
(JSC::Yarr::FirstCharacterBitmapBuilder::FirstCharacterBitmapBuilder):
(JSC::Yarr::FirstCharacterBitmapBuilder::build):
(JSC::Yarr::FirstCharacterBitmapBuilder::setBit):
(JSC::Yarr::FirstCharacterBitmapBuilder::addCharacterClass):
(JSC::Yarr::FirstCharacterBitmapBuilder::addTerm):
(JSC::Yarr::FirstCharacterBitmapBuilder::addAlternative):
(JSC::Yarr::FirstCharacterBitmapBuilder::addDisjunction):
(JSC::Yarr::computeStickyFirstCharacterBitmap):
(JSC::Yarr::computeAnchoredFirstCharacterBitmap):
* Source/JavaScriptCore/yarr/YarrPattern.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317836@main",

The WTF and libpas allocator
switches had no matching TSan condition, so they disagreed with
bmalloc throughout the Xcode ThreadSanitizer build. Give WTF's
`USE(SYSTEM_MALLOC)` a ThreadSanitizer branch so `USE(TZONE_MALLOC)`
and `USE(LIBPAS)` agree; otherwise `TZoneMalloc.h` #errors "TZones
enabled in WTF, but not enabled in bmalloc" and WTF/JavaScriptCore
reference libpas entry points bmalloc no longer provides. This is
the Xcode companion to the CMake `mac-tsan` fix (313486@main), which
the Xcode driver does not pick up.

Disable Memory Tagging Extension (MTE) under ThreadSanitizer via a
new `PAS_TSAN_ENABLED`, mirroring `PAS_ASAN_ENABLED`. MTE is a libpas
feature, so once libpas is disabled the MTE paths in `pas_mte.h` and
`pas_zero_memory.h` dereference the now-undeclared `g_config` on
arm64e internal-SDK builds.

Gate `SequesteredImmortalHeap::installScavenger()` on `USE(LIBPAS)`.
It installs a callback into libpas's scavenger, which does not exist
under the system allocator, but the surrounding code is gated on
`USE(PROTECTED_JIT)` rather than `USE(LIBPAS)`.

Define `__SANITIZE_THREAD__` for the Swift Clang importer under TSan,
mirroring the existing ASan `__SANITIZE_ADDRESS__` flag. The importer
does not receive `-fsanitize=thread`, so C++ headers it imports for
Swift/C++ interop would compute `USE(TZONE_MALLOC)` differently than
the instrumented C++ compile and emit undefined TZone references (for
example in WebGPU's Swift sources). Also add the compact-unwind
workaround to `TestIPC` since it needs it now.

No new tests since this is a build configuration fix.

* Configurations/Sanitizers.xcconfig:
* Source/WTF/wtf/FastMalloc.h:
* Source/WTF/wtf/PlatformUse.h:
* Source/WTF/wtf/SequesteredImmortalHeap.cpp:
(WTF::SequesteredImmortalHeap::installScavenger):
* Source/bmalloc/libpas/src/libpas/pas_config.h:
* Source/bmalloc/libpas/src/libpas/pas_platform.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317837@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=320070

Reviewed by Jean-Yves Avenard.

When a web process lazily computes the supported media MIME types (by loading
AVFoundation and querying [AVURLAsset audiovisualMIMETypes]), it reports them
back to the UI process via CacheMediaMIMETypes. The UI process caches them in a
process-global and is supposed to push them to every other existing web process
(via SetMediaMIMETypes) so those processes can avoid recomputing them.

This broadcast was broken in two ways, both present since the machinery was
introduced in 201372@main (2018):

  1. cacheMediaMIMETypes() iterated over the other processes but called
     cacheMediaMIMETypesInternal(types) on `this` rather than on the loop
     variable `process`, so the message would have targeted the wrong process.

  2. Even ignoring (1), cacheMediaMIMETypesInternal() guarded on
     `!mediaTypeCache().isEmpty()` and returned early. Since mediaTypeCache() is
     a UI-process global that cacheMediaMIMETypes() populates before the loop,
     that guard was always true by the time the helper ran, so the
     SetMediaMIMETypes IPC was never sent to any process.

The net effect was that already-running web processes never received the cached
types over IPC and had to recompute them independently on first use.

Fix this by inlining the broadcast into the loop so it sends SetMediaMIMETypes
directly to each peer process, and remove the now-unused
cacheMediaMIMETypesInternal() helper.

Note that the practical value of this broadcast is limited today:

  - New web processes were never affected: they already receive the cached types
    at launch via WebProcessCreationParameters (WebProcessPoolCocoa.mm), which
    seeds both AVAssetMIMETypeCache and RemoteMediaPlayerMIMETypeCache. That leg
    has always worked; only the broadcast to already-running peers was broken.

  - Since media playback moved to the GPU process (205763@main), the WebProcess
    no longer loads AVFoundation for playback type queries; those go through
    RemoteMediaPlayerMIMETypeCache to the GPU process instead. The original
    rationale (avoid loading AVFoundation in every web process) now mostly
    applies to the non-GPU-process fallback path and to RemoteImageDecoderAVF,
    which still consults AVAssetMIMETypeCache locally (see the TODOs there about
    removing that dependency).

So the concrete benefit is narrow: a long-lived, already-running web process
that later hits one of the remaining local AVAssetMIMETypeCache consumers avoids
an AVFoundation load, and its RemoteMediaPlayerMIMETypeCache avoids a sync IPC to
the GPU process. If RemoteImageDecoderAVF is eventually routed through the GPU
process, this whole broadcast/cache chain could be removed outright (modulo the
non-GPU-process fallback).

* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Cocoa/WebProcessProxyCocoa.mm:
(WebKit::WebProcessProxy::cacheMediaMIMETypes):
(WebKit::WebProcessProxy::cacheMediaMIMETypesInternal): Deleted.
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/WebProcessProxy.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317848@main",

That is transient per-layout state -- exactly what
FlexLayoutState (added in 320044) exists to hold. Move the set and its accessors
onto FlexLayoutState (setFlexItemHasCompletedLayout / hasFlexItemCompletedLayout);
RenderFlexibleBox and FlexFormattingContext reach it through the container's
FlexLayoutState. The manual clear() is gone -- each layout engages a fresh
FlexLayoutState, so the set starts empty.

While in this code, tidy up the surrounding per-flex-item layout helpers. No
behavior change:

- Simplify layoutFlexItemWithMainSize: fold the relayout decision into one
  shouldMarkFlexItemForLayout lambda, inline the one-line
  setOverridingMainSizeForFlexItem, and drop updateFlexItemDirtyBitsBeforeLayout --
  its isOutOfFlowPositioned early return was dead code, since the flex algorithm
  only ever iterates in-flow items.

- Consolidate the stretch relayout: applyStretchedLogicalHeightToFlexItem loses its
  needsRelayout bool and delegates to layoutFlexItemForStretchedCrossSize (renamed
  from relayoutFlexItemForStretchedCrossSize); the caller handles the "already the
  right size, just mark it definite" case inline.

- Rename FlexFormattingContext::flexLayoutState() to layoutState(), plus a couple of
  guard-clause / ternary simplifications (isHorizontalFlow,
  resetAutoMarginsAndLogicalTopInCrossAxis).

* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/flex/FlexFormattingContext.cpp:
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::computeFlexBaseAndHypotheticalMainSizes):
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::computeFlexLines):
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::computeMainSizeForFlexItems):
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::layoutFlexItems):
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::hypotheticalCrossSizeForFlexItems):
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::handleMainAxisAlignment):
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::computeCrossSizeForFlexItems):
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::handleCrossAxisAlignmentForFlexItems):
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::applyStretchAlignmentToFlexItem):
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::applyStretchMinMaxCrossSize):
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::layoutState const):
* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/flex/FlexFormattingContext.h:
* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/flex/FlexFormattingUtils.cpp:
(WebCore::FlexFormattingUtils::isHorizontalFlow):
* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/flex/FlexLayoutState.h:
(WebCore::FlexLayoutState::setFlexItemHasCompletedLayout):
(WebCore::FlexLayoutState::hasFlexItemCompletedLayout const):
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderFlexibleBox.cpp:
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::layoutBlock):
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::computeBlockAxisContentSizeForFlexItem):
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::applyStretchedLogicalHeightToFlexItem):
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::layoutFlexItemForStretchedCrossSize):
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::layoutFlexItemWithMainSize):
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::resetAutoMarginsAndLogicalTopInCrossAxis):
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::setOverridingMainSizeForFlexItem): Deleted.
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderFlexibleBox.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317850@main",

The ceil() rounding made iOS line boxes
systematically about a pixel taller than macOS.

Route iOS through the shared macOS path so both platforms produce identical
font metrics:

- Keep ascent/descent/lineGap as fractional CoreText values instead of
  ceil()-ing them.
- Compute lineSpacing as lround(ascent) + lround(descent) + lround(lineGap).
- Use needsAscentAdjustment() (Times/Helvetica/Courier, gated on
  Origin::Local, using round()) for the ascent adjustment on all platforms,
  removing the iOS-only shouldUseAdjustment()/.Helvetica NeueUI variant.
- Apply the Hiragino marked-text line-metrics hack on iOS as well.

The only remaining iOS-specific behavior in platformInit is
m_shouldNotBeUsedForArabic, which is about Arabic shaping performance
(rdar://9823975), not font metrics.

This shifts iOS text metrics by ~1px, so update the affected layout test
results (regenerated from the iOS-26 simulator WK2 EWS run):

- Where the iOS result is now byte-identical to macOS, consolidate the two
  platform baselines into one generic baseline (rename platform/mac ->
  generic) and drop the platform/ios override. This is safe because win and
  glib already carry their own overrides for these tests; verified per test.
- Where removing the platform/ios override falls back onto a matching
  baseline, drop the override.
- Where the iOS result still legitimately differs from macOS (different
  fallback fonts for Hebrew/Arabic/CJK, iOS compositing layer trees,
  selection geometry), rebaseline the platform/ios override in place.
- A handful of iOS selection/caret tests assert hardcoded pixel values via
  shouldBe("rect.height", "28"); update those literals and expected output
  to the new measured values. Pre-existing expected failures are left
  untouched.

Two tests are intentionally not rebaselined and need follow-up rather than
baking a failure into their baseline:
- editing/selection/caret-in-div-containing-empty-block.html: horizontal and
  text caret rects now round to different heights (18 vs 17); the fractional
  metrics exposed a rounding inconsistency between two caret-rect paths.
- editing/selection/ios/bidi-visually-contiguous-selection-multiline.html:
  the touch-driven selection lands on a different line now that line
  positions moved, so selectedText no longer ends with the expected word.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317859@main",

That is transient per-layout state; its own comment even
said it "is SizeIsUnknown outside of layoutBlock()". Move it onto FlexLayoutState next
to the other per-layout flex state, as a std::optional<bool> m_isBlockSizeDefinite
(engaged only during layout; nullopt means not-yet-computed). RenderFlexibleBox and
FlexFormattingContext go through isBlockSizeDefinite() / isBlockSizeIndefinite() /
setBlockSizeIsDefinite() / resetBlockSizeDefiniteness().

It is the container's block-axis size specifically (not a "main-axis size"): the block
axis is the main axis for a column flexbox -- where canComputePercentageFlexBasis reads
it -- and the cross axis for a row flexbox -- where flexItemCrossSizeIsDefinite reads
it. Both ask the same question, "does a percentage resolve against the container's
logical height", which is exactly what computePercentageLogicalHeight answers.

canComputePercentageFlexBasis keeps the same behavior: while laying ourselves out it
consults the cached value, and when not yet known computes it (running
computePercentageLogicalHeight, whose percent-height-descendant side effect callers
rely on) and caches it for the item's remaining sub-queries; reached outside our own
layout (percentage resolution for descendants, with m_flexLayoutState disengaged) it
just computes without caching.

Because the value now lives in the per-layout FlexLayoutState -- which starts fresh each
layoutBlock -- the two explicit resets that only existed to clear the persistent member
are no longer needed and are removed: the one at the end of layoutBlock, and the
per-child one in LayoutIntegration::FlexLayout::collectFlexItems (which reset a child
flexbox whose own FlexLayoutState is not even engaged at that point, so it was a no-op).

Also switch the writing-mode-parallel check from an isHorizontalWritingMode() equality
to writingMode().isOrthogonal(), matching the idiom already used in RenderFlexibleBox.

* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/flex/FlexFormattingContext.cpp:
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::computeFlexBaseAndHypotheticalMainSizes):
(WebCore::FlexFormattingContext::flexItemCrossSizeIsDefinite):
* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/flex/FlexLayoutState.h:
(WebCore::FlexLayoutState::phase const):
(WebCore::FlexLayoutState::isFlexBoxBlockSizeDefinite const):
(WebCore::FlexLayoutState::isFlexBoxBlockSizeIndefinite const):
(WebCore::FlexLayoutState::setFlexBoxBlockSizeIsDefinite):
(WebCore::FlexLayoutState::resetFlexBoxBlockSizeDefiniteness):
* Source/WebCore/layout/integration/flex/LayoutIntegrationFlexLayout.cpp:
(WebCore::LayoutIntegration::FlexLayout::collectFlexItems):
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderFlexibleBox.cpp:
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::layoutBlock):
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::canComputePercentageFlexBasis):
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderFlexibleBox.h:
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::resetHasDefiniteHeight): Deleted.
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::hasDefiniteHeight const): Deleted.
(WebCore::RenderFlexibleBox::setHasDefiniteHeight): Deleted.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317863@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308895
rdar://171780771

Reviewed by BJ Burg.

Under Site Isolation the loaderId reported on Page.frameNavigated and
Page.getResourceTree did not match the loaderId the Network domain emits
for the same navigation's main resource. The frontend uses loaderId
purely as a correlation key between the Network and Page event streams
(NetworkManager.js): when a main-resource Network.requestWillBeSent
whose loaderId differs from the frame's committed loaderIdentifier
arrives, it starts a provisional load, and Page.frameNavigated commits
that load only when the event's loaderId equals the recorded provisional
loaderId. When the two disagree, the real main-resource load is
discarded and a fresh, empty main resource is synthesized in its place.

Root cause: the loaderId was derived from the frame's current document,
which changes across a navigation's commit. The Network stream computes
it at the main resource's willSendRequest -- before commit, when the
frame still shows the previous document -- while the Page stream
computes it at frameNavigated, after the new document has committed.
Deriving from frame->document()->identifier() therefore yields two
different strings for one load: the previous document's id on the
network event and the new document's id on the navigation. The frontend
never correlated them, so it discarded the real main resource for the
synthesized empty one.

Fix: derive the loaderId from the DocumentLoader's navigationID
(BackendIdentifierRegistry::loaderId). navigationID is assigned when the
load starts, while still provisional, and stays fixed for the load, so
the Network stream's pre-commit computation and the Page stream's
post-commit computation produce the identical string. It is
process-local, so it is qualified with the hosting process
("loader-<pid>.<navigationID>").

The id can only be computed in the frame's hosting WebContent process --
the UIProcess has neither the DocumentLoader nor its navigationID -- so
both proxy paths compute it there (FrameNetworkAgentProxy on the network
side, PageAgentProxy::frameNavigated on the page side) and send the
resulting string over IPC, rather than shipping a raw
ScriptExecutionContextIdentifier and converting it in the UIProcess. A
DocumentLoader never spans processes, so this is consistent.

The obvious alternatives don't work: frame->document()->identifier() is
the source of the bug above, and DocumentLoader::resultingClientId() --
the id the about-to-commit document will adopt -- is populated only for
service-worker-eligible loads, so it is unavailable for the common
navigation.

Because the loaderIds now agree, the frontend takes the provisional-load
commit path (WI.Frame.commitProvisionalLoad) for a cross-origin
navigation instead of synthesizing a fresh main resource via
WI.Frame.initialize. commitProvisionalLoad did not propagate the frame's
name, so make it adopt and dispatch the navigation's name like
initialize does; otherwise a window.name change reported on the
committing navigation would no longer reach the frame model.

Test: http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/frame-navigated-loader-id-matches-network-cross-origin-iframe.html

* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/frame-navigated-loader-id-matches-network-cross-origin-iframe-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/frame-navigated-loader-id-matches-network-cross-origin-iframe.html: Added.
* Source/WebCore/inspector/InspectorResourceUtilities.h:
* Source/WebInspectorUI/UserInterface/Controllers/NetworkManager.js:
(WI.NetworkManager.prototype.frameDidNavigate):
* Source/WebInspectorUI/UserInterface/Models/Frame.js:
(WI.Frame.prototype.commitProvisionalLoad):
* Source/WebKit/Shared/InspectorPageTypes.serialization.in:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingNetworkAgent.cpp:
(Inspector::ProxyingNetworkAgent::requestWillBeSent):
(Inspector::ProxyingNetworkAgent::responseReceived):
(Inspector::ProxyingNetworkAgent::requestServedFromMemoryCache):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingNetworkAgent.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingNetworkAgent.messages.in:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingPageAgent.cpp:
(Inspector::ProxyingPageAgent::frameNavigated):
(Inspector::ProxyingPageAgent::buildFrameTree const):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingPageAgent.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingPageAgent.messages.in:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/FrameNetworkAgentProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::loaderIdForLoader):
(WebKit::FrameNetworkAgentProxy::willSendRequest):
(WebKit::FrameNetworkAgentProxy::willSendRequestOfType):
(WebKit::FrameNetworkAgentProxy::didReceiveResponse):
(WebKit::FrameNetworkAgentProxy::didLoadResourceFromMemoryCache):
(WebKit::contextIdentifier): Deleted.
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/PageAgentProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::PageAgentProxy::frameNavigated):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackend.cpp:
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::getFrameResourceData):
* Source/WebCore/inspector/InspectorIdentifierRegistry.cpp:
(Inspector::BackendIdentifierRegistry::loaderId):
* Source/WebCore/inspector/InspectorIdentifierRegistry.h:
(Inspector::IdentifierRegistry::parseProtocolFrameId):
(Inspector::IdentifierRegistry::protocolLoaderId): Deleted.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317864@main",

When the
value exceeded the range of int, parseInteger returned nullopt and
value_or(0) silently coerced it to 0 hours, so a fragment such as
"t=99999999999:00:05" was accepted as a valid seek to 00:05 (5 seconds)
rather than being rejected. The same value1 is also used for plain
npt-sec fragments (e.g. "t=99999999999"), so that path was affected too.

Reject the fragment when the hours value fails to parse, consistent with
how the minutes and seconds fields are already validated.

Also fix a related integer overflow: the hours value was multiplied by
secondsPerHour (3600) using plain int arithmetic before being converted
to a double, so an in-range hours value like 1000000
(1000000 * 3600 = 3.6e9) could overflow INT_MAX and produce a wrong or
negative seek time via signed integer overflow. This patch fixes the issue by setting a
post-build task only for "EXECUTABLE" target. We do not do it for the
other type of targets since POST_BUILD in Ninja is executed just after
linking, and frameworks requires the other jobs before codesining the
framework (WebKit.framework linking -> XPC services are linked against
this framework -> XPC services are code-signed -> codesign
WebKit.framework). But EXECUTABLE does not need to code-sign the other
things before sealing. So using POST_BUILD is fine.

We keep jsc_CodeSign etc. as a custom target which relies on jsc target
to keep the downstream use of this name without hassle.

* Source/cmake/WebKitMacros.cmake:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317872@main",

This falls into the logic that
comes from the rules of block-level elements from CSS2. There is extra
work that is needed for the case where a repalced element does not have
a natural size, but we defer to do that in a later patch since this
should be the common case.

After this there should only be two cases left that we need to figure
out in terms of computing the automatic sizes for grid items. These are
the replaced elements without a natural size and non-replaced elements
with a preferred aspect ratio that are documented in the FIXME.

Also, we work with the assumption that the content is all horizontal-tb
since that is the only thing allowed into GFC. Incorporating other
writing modes will ideally just be a small API changing to make sure the
mapping is done correctly and the core logic this patch introduces
should remain the same.

* Source/WebCore/layout/layouttree/LayoutElementBox.cpp:
(WebCore::Layout::ElementBox::hasNaturalWidth const):
(WebCore::Layout::ElementBox::hasNaturalHeight const):
(WebCore::Layout::ElementBox::naturalWidth const):
(WebCore::Layout::ElementBox::naturalHeight const):
We had an API that checked the box for an intrinsic width/height, but
those also handle cases where the box is a non-replaced element which is
something we are not concerned with for this portion of the spec.
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319913
<rdar://182833826>

Reviewed by Sammy Gill.

Resolve a grid item's percentage/calc() padding against the inline size of the grid
item when available, and 0px when it is not, such as during intrinsic sizing.

The biggest change here is that grid items are now laid out with
layoutGridItemWithFormattingContext() which sets the grid area inline size on the
renderer.

This PR updates PlacedGridItem to stop resolving and caching the border and padding at
construction time. The grid area's inline size is not knowable at this time and cannot
be resolved. Border and padding have been updated to be computed on demand.

The intrinsic GridItemSizingFunctions have been updated to correctly resolve
cyclic padding against 0px during intrinsic column track sizing.

minContentWidth() for grid items is now handled by minContentWidthForGridItem()
which now correctly resolves the item's min content width against the grid area's
inline size instead of the grid container's block size.

borderAndPaddingForGridItem() is a new helper function to resolve the inline and
block border/padding for grid items against the inlineSize. This is fed into
track sizing and used-size calculation.

No change in behavior: percentage/calc()-padded grid items are still routed to
the legacy grid layout by the GridItemHasPercentOrCalcPadding avoidance reason.

* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/grid/GridFormattingContext.cpp:
(WebCore::Layout::GridFormattingContext::constructPlacedGridItems const):
* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/grid/GridItemSizingFunctions.cpp:
(WebCore::Layout::GridItemSizingFunctions::inlineAxis):
* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/grid/GridLayout.cpp:
(WebCore::Layout::GridLayout::sizeColumnTracks const):
(WebCore::Layout::GridLayout::sizeRowTracks const):
(WebCore::Layout::GridLayout::layoutGridItems const):
* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/grid/GridLayoutUtils.cpp:
(WebCore::Layout::GridLayoutUtils::inlineContentSizeSuggestion):
(WebCore::Layout::GridLayoutUtils::automaticMinimumInlineSize):
(WebCore::Layout::GridLayoutUtils::inlineMinimumSize):
(WebCore::Layout::GridLayoutUtils::inlineUsedSize):
(WebCore::Layout::GridLayoutUtils::inlinePreferredSize):
* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/grid/GridLayoutUtils.h:
* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/grid/PlacedGridItem.cpp:
(WebCore::Layout::PlacedGridItem::PlacedGridItem):
(WebCore::Layout::m_blockAxisSizes):
* Source/WebCore/layout/formattingContexts/grid/PlacedGridItem.h:
(WebCore::Layout::PlacedGridItem::usedInlineBorderAndPadding const): Deleted.
(WebCore::Layout::PlacedGridItem::usedBlockBorderAndPadding const): Deleted.
* Source/WebCore/layout/integration/LayoutIntegrationFormattingContextLayout.cpp:
(WebCore::LayoutIntegration::layoutBoxWithOverridingBorderBoxSize):
(WebCore::LayoutIntegration::layoutWithFormattingContextForBox):
(WebCore::LayoutIntegration::layoutGridItemWithFormattingContext):
* Source/WebCore/layout/integration/LayoutIntegrationFormattingContextLayout.h:
* Source/WebCore/layout/integration/LayoutIntegrationUtils.cpp:
(WebCore::Layout::inlineWidthForGridItemWithGridArea):
(WebCore::Layout::IntegrationUtils::borderAndPaddingForGridItem const):
(WebCore::Layout::IntegrationUtils::layoutGridItem const):
(WebCore::Layout::IntegrationUtils::minContentWidth const):
(WebCore::Layout::IntegrationUtils::minContentWidthForGridItem const):
(WebCore::Layout::IntegrationUtils::minContentLogicalWidthContribution const):
(WebCore::Layout::IntegrationUtils::maxContentLogicalWidthContribution const):
(WebCore::Layout::IntegrationUtils::maxContentWidth const):
(WebCore::Layout::IntegrationUtils::maxContentWidthForGridItem const):
* Source/WebCore/layout/integration/LayoutIntegrationUtils.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/317895@main",
