https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321314

Reviewed by Carlos Alberto Lopez Perez.

Currently, the WebDriver service chooses the WebDriverBiDi WebSockets
port based on the HTTP server port if the latter is not explicitly
defined by the user.

While this works fine in low churn scenarios, this does not guarantee
that the server will pick a free port, potentially leading to fatal
startup errors and test failures.

This commit makes the WebDriverBiDi server let the OS provide a free
port if the user does not provide one, reporting that port back through
the `webSocketURL` capability. Also, to ensure the os-provided port does
not clash with the explicit port requested for the HTTP server, the
WebSocket server is now started after it.

For bidi-only connections (not yet supported, though), the user can just
provide the port explicitly.

* Source/WebDriver/WebDriverService.cpp:
(WebDriver::WebDriverService::run):
* Source/WebDriver/soup/WebSocketServerSoup.cpp:
(WebDriver::WebSocketServer::listen):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/318931@main",

With site isolation enabled an extra seeked arrived after ended.
completePlayInternal() implements the spec's "if playback has ended, seek to the start" step and
evaluated endedPlayback() when it ran, which is after the playback admission round trip. Playback
reached the end of the media during that round trip, so endedPlayback() was true by then and
seekInternal() ran a seek to zero the page never asked for. Without site isolation the admission
completed in the same task or one runloop turn, well inside the test's 100ms margin, so endedPlayback()
was still false.

playInternal() now captures endedPlayback() at play() time and passes it to completePlayInternal(),
alongside the shouldNotifyAboutPlaying and shouldResolvePromises decisions it already captures there
for the same reason.

* Source/WebCore/html/HTMLMediaElement.cpp:
(WebCore::HTMLMediaElement::completePlayInternal): Take the seek-to-start decision as a parameter.
(WebCore::HTMLMediaElement::playInternal): Capture endedPlayback() at play() time and pass it through
the admission completion handler.
* Source/WebCore/html/HTMLMediaElement.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/318932@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321435
rdar://182381982

Reviewed by Alex Christensen.

WebKit does not move a client certificate's private key between processes. The UI process wraps the
chosen SecIdentity in a SecKeyProxy and sends only the XPC endpoint plus the certificate chain to the
network process, which rebuilds the identity with -[SecKeyProxy createIdentityFromEndpoint:error:].
That call round-trips back to the UI process, so it fails whenever the private key's Keychain ACL
denies access - for instance a certificate provisioned by a third-party application whose ACL is bound
to that application's Team ID.

On failure the XPC handler only logged and returned, without completing the challenge. The same was
true of every other early return in the handler: a missing or non-endpoint XPC endpoint, a missing
certificate data array, a certificate that fails SecCertificateCreateWithData, and an out-of-range
persistence value. Abandoning the challenge leaves the Challenge object, which owns CFNetwork's
challenge completion handler, in AuthenticationManager::m_challenges forever. There is no timeout and
no fallback, so the TLS handshake keeps waiting for a client certificate and the page load stalls
indefinitely with no error shown to the user.

Move the credential reconstruction into credentialFromClientCertificateMessage() so that all of those
failures collapse into a single std::nullopt, and complete the challenge with PerformDefaultHandling
when it returns nothing. That matches the fallback NetworkProcessProxy::processAuthenticationChallenge
already uses for non-server-trust schemes, and turns the hang into a reportable load failure.

The remaining early return has to stay: there is no identifier to complete, and constructing one anyway
would hit the RELEASE_ASSERT in ObjectIdentifier's constructor and crash the network process. Validate
with ObjectIdentifier::isValidIdentifier() so the guard rejects exactly what that constructor rejects,
which includes the hash table deleted value as well as zero. It only gets an ASSERT_NOT_REACHED,
matching the message name check above it, since an invalid identifier means a malformed message rather
than a challenge we could fail.

This does not make client certificate authentication succeed when the ACL denies access; that denial
is by design and needs the certificate to be provisioned with an ACL that permits the requesting
applications.

No new tests (the failure path needs a Keychain ACL denial, which cannot be simulated in the test
harness). The unchanged success path stays covered by TestWebKitAPI.Challenge.ClientCertificate.

* Source/WebKit/NetworkProcess/Authentication/cocoa/AuthenticationManagerCocoa.mm:
(WebKit::credentialFromClientCertificateMessage):
(WebKit::AuthenticationManager::initializeConnection):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/318936@main",

V8 and
SpiderMonkey agree.

calendarDateAdd and calendarDateUntil queried ICU past the range where its astronomical
output is trustworthy, though the chinese and dangi getters already report plain ISO fields
there, so add({years: 1}) on {calendar: "chinese", year: 270000} threw on a date that
constructs and reads fine. Both take the ISO path past the threshold now. That range is a
deliberate divergence, so the values are not expected to match V8; only the absence of a
failure is.

calendarDateUntil passed the calendar's arithmetic year to resolveMonthCodeToOrdinal, whose
year argument is the related year -- for chinese and dangi a different number on ICU 76
(4661 against 2024, 4353 against 2020) and the same one on ICU 78, so a local run cannot
tell them apart. The snapshot carries the related year separately now, computed from the
year's start instant rather than read from an ICU year field, and only the source endpoint
computes it because only the year loop consumes it. It has never done so, and it is
no longer needed either way.

It never applied because countPeriods() in
addVP9FullRangeVideoFlagToContentType() advanced its scan cursor by a
single position after each match (++position) instead of moving past the
index the '.' was found at. String::find('.', position) returns the
absolute index of the next match at or after position, so the same period
was re-counted on every iteration until the cursor walked past it,
inflating the count: "vp09.00.41.08.01.01.01.00" (7 periods) counts as 23,
so the required `countPeriods(codec) != 7` check never matched and the
quirk was a no-op from its introduction in 227853@main.

It is also moot: youtube.com serves WebKit the complete 9-field form,
verified in Safari as "vp09.02.51.10.01.09.16.09.00", which already carries
videoFullRangeFlag. That has 8 periods rather than the 7 the quirk keyed on,
so a repaired countPeriods() would skip it, and parseVPCodecParameters()
accepts it unmodified. HDR VP9 (PQ/bt2020) plays at 2560x1440@60 in Safari
today with the quirk inert.

Eight years without a report of the underlying problem and no remaining
codec string to complete, so remove the quirk rather than repair it. This
is not a behavior change, and no new test is needed: rejection of the
8-field form is already covered by
platform/mac/media/media-source/is-type-supported-vp9-codec-check.html.

createSourceBufferPrivate() no longer needs to copy its ContentType
argument, and its Document lookup is now only used by the
MEDIA_RECORDER_WEBM Matroska quirk, so it moves inside that guard.

* Source/WebCore/Modules/mediasource/MediaSource.cpp:
(WebCore::addVP9FullRangeVideoFlagToContentType): Deleted.
(WebCore::MediaSource::addSourceBuffer):
(WebCore::MediaSource::isTypeSupported):
(WebCore::MediaSource::createSourceBufferPrivate):
* Source/WebCore/page/Quirks.cpp:
(WebCore::Quirks::needsVP9FullRangeFlagQuirk const): Deleted.
(WebCore::handleYouTubeQuirks):
* Source/WebCore/page/Quirks.h:
* Source/WebCore/page/QuirksData.h:

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/318943@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=308899
rdar://171780810

Reviewed by Qianlang Chen.

Under Site Isolation a cross-origin iframe runs in its own WebContent process,
which has no enabled InspectorPageAgent -- the frontend's Page domain only reaches
the main-frame process. So Page.setShowPaintRects enabled the overlay in the
main-frame process only, and paints in a cross-origin subframe drew nothing.

Fan the toggle out and draw locally per process:

- The main-frame process notifies the UIProcess (ShowPaintRectsChanged), whose
ProxyingPageAgent sends SetShowPaintRects to every WebContent process and
remembers the state to replay to any process that registers later (e.g. a
cross-origin navigation spawns a new one).

- Each process's WebInspectorBackend drives the flag on every per-frame
PageAgentProxy it hosts, and seeds proxies that commit later. The proxy's
didPaint draws in the frame's own contents coordinate space via the frame-aware
InspectorBackendClient::showPaintRect(LocalFrame&, ...); it bails when an enabled
InspectorPageAgent is present (the main-frame process, which already drew) to
avoid a double-flash.

Draw a Document overlay per local root frame. One process can host several local
roots (same-site sibling cross-origin iframes), and a GraphicsLayer has a single
parent, so a shared overlay root would only appear under whichever frame
composited last. PageOverlay gains an associated frame; PageOverlayController
hosts each associated overlay in that frame's own compositing tree, and
RenderLayerCompositor gates the overlay host on isRootFrameCompositor() rather
than isMainFrame() so it is not orphaned across a root-layer re-attach. Overlay
geometry resolves from the process's local main-or-root frame, since the main
frame can be a RemoteFrame here.

Tear down a frame's overlay when it detaches. The overlay is held by
PageOverlayController, so it (and its per-frame container GraphicsLayer) would
otherwise outlive the frame and, once its associated-frame weak reference cleared,
be re-parented under the main frame's overlay root and draw stale layers.

Rulers (setShowRulers) are left unimplemented cross-process (they render via
InspectorOverlay, which subframe processes lack, and need page-wide geometry);
tracked as a follow-up. A local subframe nested under a local root, or reached
through a remote ancestor, is positioned by frame-local coordinates only and can
draw at the wrong offset; documented as a FIXME.

Test: http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/set-show-paint-rects-cross-origin-iframe.html

* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/resources/paint-rects-frame.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/set-show-paint-rects-cross-origin-iframe-disabled-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/set-show-paint-rects-cross-origin-iframe-disabled.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/set-show-paint-rects-cross-origin-iframe-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/inspector/page/set-show-paint-rects-cross-origin-iframe.html: Added.
* Source/WebCore/inspector/InspectorBackendClient.h:
(WebCore::InspectorBackendClient::showPaintRect):
(WebCore::InspectorBackendClient::willDestroyFrameOverlays):
* Source/WebCore/inspector/InspectorInstrumentation.cpp:
(WebCore::InspectorInstrumentation::didPaintImpl):
* Source/WebCore/page/Page.cpp:
(WebCore::Page::localMainOrRootFrame const):
* Source/WebCore/page/Page.h:
* Source/WebCore/page/PageOverlay.cpp:
(WebCore::PageOverlay::setAssociatedFrame):
(WebCore::PageOverlay::associatedFrame const):
(WebCore::PageOverlay::frameForGeometry const):
(WebCore::PageOverlay::bounds const):
(WebCore::PageOverlay::viewToOverlayOffset const):
(WebCore::PageOverlay::drawRect):
(WebCore::PageOverlay::mouseEvent):
* Source/WebCore/page/PageOverlay.h:
* Source/WebCore/page/PageOverlayController.cpp:
(WebCore::PageOverlayController::installedPageOverlaysChanged):
(WebCore::PageOverlayController::documentOverlayRootLayerForFrame):
(WebCore::PageOverlayController::layerWithDocumentOverlaysForFrame):
(WebCore::PageOverlayController::willDestroyRootFrameOverlayContainer):
(WebCore::PageOverlayController::installPageOverlay):
(WebCore::PageOverlayController::layerWithDocumentOverlays): Deleted.
* Source/WebCore/page/PageOverlayController.h:
* Source/WebCore/rendering/RenderLayerCompositor.cpp:
(WebCore::RenderLayerCompositor::appendDocumentOverlayLayers):
(WebCore::RenderLayerCompositor::rootLayerAttachmentChanged):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingPageAgent.cpp:
(Inspector::ProxyingPageAgent::enableInstrumentationForProcess):
(Inspector::ProxyingPageAgent::disable):
(Inspector::ProxyingPageAgent::setShowPaintRects):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/Agents/ProxyingPageAgent.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackendProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackendProxy::showPaintRectsChanged):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackendProxy.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackendProxy.messages.in:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorUIProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::WebInspectorUIProxy::showPaintRectsChanged):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorUIProxy.h:
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/WebPageInspectorController.cpp:
(WebKit::WebPageInspectorController::setShowPaintRects):
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/Inspector/WebPageInspectorController.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/PageAgentProxy.cpp:
(WebKit::PageAgentProxy::didPaint):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/PageAgentProxy.h:
(WebKit::PageAgentProxy::setShowPaintRects):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackend.cpp:
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::showPaintRectsChanged):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::removeInstrumentationForFrame):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::ensurePageInstrumentationForFrame):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::disablePageInstrumentation):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackend::setShowPaintRects):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackend.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackend.messages.in:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackendClient.cpp:
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackendClient::~WebInspectorBackendClient):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackendClient::ensurePaintRectOverlayForFrame):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackendClient::showPaintRect):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackendClient::paintRectCount const):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackendClient::animationEndedForLayer):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackendClient::willDestroyFrameOverlays):
(WebKit::WebInspectorBackendClient::setShowPaintRects):
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/Inspector/WebInspectorBackendClient.h:
* Source/WebKit/WebProcess/WebPage/WebFrame.cpp:
(WebKit::WebFrame::removeFromTree):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/318947@main",

No test: none of it is reachable while ICU is healthy -- extreme
years on all eight non-ISO calendars, hebrew year 0, PlainYearMonth diffs at both range ends
and far-future transitions behave identically before and after.

yearContainsMonthCode short-circuited on `cal &&`, so a failed calendar open read as "this
year has no such month" and constrainMonthCodeGivenContainment rewrote the month -- for
hebrew a valid M05L became M06, bypassing overflow: "reject". monthCodeOrdinalInYear fell
back to monthCode.monthNumber, losing the leap-month shift, and resolveMonthCodeToOrdinal
had three failure paths returning 1, which fed the year count in calendarDateUntil. The
isHebrewYear0 trio folded a read failure into false, so callers skipped the hebrew
year-0 Kislev correction. All return optional or TemporalResult now; the genuine
constrain-backward exits stay distinct from the failure exits, and monthCodeOrdinalInYear's
ASSERT goes with the type change.

getTimeZoneTransition's offset check reused the UErrorCode ucal_getTimeZoneTransitionDate
had written, and ICU is sticky, so after any upstream failure all six calls no-oped to zero
and it returned the transition regardless. It reuses getOffsetMsAtEpoch now. PlainYearMonth
until/since and monthDayFromFields no longer fall back to a value on failure.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/318953@main",

Nothing verified that a bad
value is rejected, or that rejecting it leaves the rest of the viewport
arguments alone.

There is no web-exposed way to read back the parsed value, so these tests
observe parsing through the warning reported by parseInteractiveWidgetValue()
and through internals.configurationForViewport(), which shows that the other
arguments still resolve as written.

Added to fast/viewport/:

- interactive-widget-invalid-values.html: an unknown value, an empty value, a
 bare key with no "=", near misses ("resizes", "resizes-contentt",
 "overlays_content", "RESize-CONTENT"), a value with a trailing ";", and
 "RESIZES-VISUAL" spelled with U+0130 to pin that keyword matching folds ASCII
 only.
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=314234
rdar://176395332

Reviewed by Tim Nguyen and Antti Koivisto.

Original patch by fantasai in PR #64877; reworked to match the <random-key>
grammar structure and address review feedback.

random() and random-item() gained the property-scoped and property-index-scoped
<random-cache-key> keywords, which were added to the spec alongside the
310532@main scoping inversion but never implemented. The <random-key> is modeled
to mirror the grammar: an optional <dashed-ident> name, element-scoped, and an
optional property-scoped or property-index-scoped descriptor, with auto as a
distinct top-level alternative. It resolves to a caching key so that random
functions sharing the same property (and, for property-index-scoped, the same
value index) share a base value. Per CSS Values 5 § 9.4.1 these keywords are
meant to simplify at parse time into a <random-ua-ident>; that form and its
serialization are a follow-up, so for now they serialize as the keyword rather
than the canonical ua-* form.

As a side effect of making auto a distinct top-level alternative, random(auto, ...)
is now element-scoped, matching an omitted <random-key>. It was previously
document-scoped, which was a bug.

This also fixes a pre-existing serialization bug: a <random-key> with
element-scoped but no <dashed-ident> serialized with a stray leading space, as
random( element-scoped, 0px, 100px). Two random-serialize.tentative expectations
flip from FAIL to PASS accordingly.

random-item() rejects an explicit property-scoped or property-index-scoped inside a
custom property, because cssPropertyID() is CSSPropertyCustom for every custom
property and honoring the scope would collapse them onto one shared base value.

* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-values/random-computed.tentative-expected.txt:
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/css/css-values/random-serialize.tentative-expected.txt:
* Source/WebCore/Headers.cmake:
* Source/WebCore/WebCore.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj:
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSRandomKeyParser.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSPropertyParserHelpers::consumeUnresolvedRandomKey):
(WebCore::CSSPropertyParserHelpers::randomSharingAuto):
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSRandomKeyParser.h:
* Source/WebCore/css/CSSValueKeywords.in:
* Source/WebCore/css/calc/CSSCalcRandomCachingKey.h:
(WebCore::CSSCalc::RandomCachingKey::RandomCachingKey):
(WebCore::CSSCalc::RandomCachingKey::isHashTableDeletedValue const):
(WebCore::CSSCalc::RandomCachingKey::isHashTableEmptyValue const):
(WTF::CSSCalcRandomCachingKeyHash::hash):
(WebCore::CSSCalc::RandomCachingKey::convertToIdentifier): Deleted.
* Source/WebCore/css/calc/CSSCalcRandomSharing.h: Renamed from Source/WebCore/css/calc/CSSCalcRandomSharingOptions.h.
* Source/WebCore/css/calc/CSSCalcTree+Evaluation.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSCalc::resolveRandomBaseValue):
* Source/WebCore/css/calc/CSSCalcTree+Evaluation.h:
* Source/WebCore/css/calc/CSSCalcTree+Parser.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSCalc::consumeRandom):
* Source/WebCore/css/calc/CSSCalcTree+Serialization.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSCalc::serializeMathFunctionArguments):
* Source/WebCore/css/calc/CSSCalcTree+Simplification.cpp:
(WebCore::CSSCalc::simplify):
* Source/WebCore/css/calc/CSSCalcTree.h:
* Source/WebCore/style/StyleSubstitutionResolver.cpp:
(WebCore::Style::randomKeyHasExplicitPropertyScope):
(WebCore::Style::SubstitutionResolver::randomItemBaseValue):
* Source/WebCore/style/calc/StyleCalculationTree+Conversion.cpp:
(WebCore::Style::Calculation::toStyle):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/318960@main",

Instead it never moves.

calculateAnimatedValue() translated only when PathTraversalState::success() was
set, and a zero-length path never sets it: the traversal marks a zero vector on
the first element and waits for a second one to resolve it, which a lone moveto
never provides. Both the position and the accumulated repeats were skipped, so
the result depended on spelling -- "M 100 100 L 100 100" and "M 100 100 Z" have
a second element and do translate to (100,100).

Translate by current() unconditionally. It already holds the initial point in
the failing case, and it is what successful traversals were reading anyway, so
those are unaffected. The angle does not change either: normalAngle() is 0 here,
which is what rotate="auto" already resolved to.

Chrome and Firefox both place the element at the initial point, and
accumulate="sum" now steps (100,100) -> (200,200), as all three engines already
do for the two-element spelling.

Tests: imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/animateMotion-path-moveto-only.html
imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/animateMotion-path-zero-length-subpaths.html

* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/animateMotion-path-moveto-only-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/animateMotion-path-moveto-only.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/animateMotion-path-zero-length-subpaths-expected.txt: Added.
* LayoutTests/imported/w3c/web-platform-tests/svg/animations/animateMotion-path-zero-length-subpaths.html: Added.
* Source/WebCore/svg/SVGAnimateMotionElement.cpp:
(WebCore::SVGAnimateMotionElement::calculateAnimatedValue):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/318963@main",

With site isolation
enabled it read MediaPlayback, on every run, and only when another test had run before it in the same
UI process.

updateSessionState() does not drop straight to None: when the computed category is None and the previous
one was neither None nor PlayAndRecord, it starts a two second timer and reports the previous category
instead. That previous category and the timer belong to the manager instance. Without site isolation
that instance is the page's own MediaSessionManagerCocoa, which starts out at None for each test. With
site isolation the category is computed by RemoteMediaSessionManagerProxy, one instance for the whole UI
process, so MediaPlayback left behind by media/audio-session-category-at-most-recent-playback.html was
still the previous category when this test's page computed None, and the hold outlasted the gap between
the two tests. The proxy's session counts confirm no session was leaking across: it saw one session at a
time and dropped to none between the tests, while every computation reported "setting category =
MediaPlayback, previous category = MediaPlayback".

removeSession() clears the previous category and stops the timer once the last session is gone, so the
hold only covers transitions while a session exists.

Covered by existing tests.

* Source/WebCore/platform/audio/cocoa/MediaSessionManagerCocoa.mm:
(WebCore::MediaSessionManagerCocoa::removeSession): Clear the delayed category change when the last
session goes away.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/318968@main
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321401
rdar://184468834

Reviewed by Alex Christensen.

RemoteLayerTreeHost::layerWillBeRemoved took the node out of m_nodes but never detached its layer, i.e. does not invoke
removeFromHostingNode. A CALayer is retained by its superlayer, so dropping the RemoteLayerTreeNode does not stop the
layer being drawn: the hosted root layer of a frame that has moved to another process stays parented to the hosting
layer and keeps compositing.

remotePageProcessDidTerminate already called removeFromHostingNode, bit it covered this for the process-termination path
only -- if the process is not destroyed when layer is removed, then no one is removing it from layer tree. This patch
fixes that by having RemoteLayerTreeHost::layerWillBeRemoved invoke removeFromHostingNode. By doing so, the call in
remotePageProcessDidTerminate becomes redundant.

The patch also contains two drive-by fixes for issues found in RemoteLayerTreeHost::layerWillBeRemoved:
- A LayerHostingContextIdentifier is reused across a frame's cross-process navigations, so it outlives the layers keyed
by it and an entry may already have been reassigned to a layer in another process (e.g. the new layer of the frame is
added before the the old layer is removed); clearing m_hostedLayers and m_hostingLayers by identifier alone could
therefore discard a live entry. Both removals now confirm that the entry still refers to the layer going away before
removal and update.
- When removing layer from m_hostedLayersInProcess, the key layerID is read from m_hostedLayers instead of using the
layerID parameter passed to the function. In the edge case mentioned above, the key stored in the map might already be
updated to new layer, and we will remove the new key by mistake. Now use function parameter as the key.
These two are races that no layout test can currently force.

Test: http/tests/site-isolation/draw-after-two-cross-process-navigations.html.

* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/draw-after-two-cross-process-navigations-expected.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/draw-after-two-cross-process-navigations.html: Added.
* LayoutTests/http/tests/site-isolation/resources/red-background.html: Added. The regression test page is blue with a
200x200 iframe that navigates three times: a red page on localhost, a green page on a third site, and finally a URL on a
fourth site that responds with X-Frame-Options: deny, so a transparent document commits and nothing opaque is left to
hide a stale layer. The 1x1 #sibling frame is load-bearing: it is same-site with the red page, so that process stays
alive after the frame leaves it and reports the red layer as destroyed. Without it the process terminates instead and
takes the path that was already correct, and the test passes either way.
* Source/WebKit/UIProcess/RemoteLayerTree/RemoteLayerTreeHost.mm:
(WebKit::RemoteLayerTreeHost::layerWillBeRemoved):
(WebKit::RemoteLayerTreeHost::remotePageProcessDidTerminate):

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/318978@main",

Dropping the value block is what recovers the
regression. That block is also the half that grew the hot lambda's frame from
0x50 to 0x60, which is the suspicious part: in DynamicBuffer mode append()
recurses once per nesting level behind a softStackLimit() check, and crossing that
check abandons the whole fast path for the generic Stringifier instead of
degrading gradually.

This reland keeps only the property-name block, which is where the reloads are
concentrated (19 for 9 stores). The frame is back to 0x50 and stack traffic
matches baseline. The discipline is unchanged: locals are captured after
hasRemainingCapacity(), which can reallocate; m_length is published before
appendNewLineAndIndentUnchecked(), which reads and advances it, and before every
bail-out.

Hot instantiation (Latin1, DynamicBuffer, HasGap::No): 1712 -> 1660 bytes, loads
70 -> 61, member reloads 26 -> 17.

Note the reverted version was better on every one of those counters -- 1648
bytes, 56 loads, 12 reloads -- and still regressed. Reload count is a proxy, not
the objective.

Canonical link: https://commits.webkit.org/318990@main",
