How to test

  1. For each control, open the datalist suggestion popup with the native picker icon or keyboard.
  2. Click Other in the native popup.
  3. Expected: the real date, time, or date-time picker opens.
  4. Bad: the suggestion popup disappears and no picker opens, or only a tiny dot/shadow appears.

Scrolled near-bottom controls

Scroll until these controls are close to the bottom of the browser window, then click Other.

Notes

Fixed to viewport bottom. These are the important edge cases.
Primary issue: click Other, expect time picker.
Old 2012 path: click Other, expect calendar picker.
Same family: click Other, expect date-time picker.
